Spring or Easter sentiment

Morning and hello! Hope you all had a great week and some time to craft. As I am always chasing time at the moment and a few days behind there has been lots of crafting and posts this week. Well, hopefully it all settles when we all get well again. Both kids are still trouble by their cough but at least back not in school but extracurricular. They had the chance both of them to be with their grandma but chose to be in their school environment instead. And today I understand it as they have planed to go to Svartbäcksmåla 30 km from here and go sledding. There is a small down hill slope that also works for that, it's not like being in the mountains but better than nothing. The only bad thing is that it's quite warm but they have some artificial snow that they can sled on. At least that the last plan I heard. Sorry got carried away again.

It's the B-teams turn to show off their creations for AUD sentiments. This will be the last week that you can enter our theme Spring or Easter sentiment. Maybe it's a bit early in the year to think about spring but give it a try as we have some nice prize up for grabs. Our sponsor this week is

Great Impressions was founded in 1984 by Ken and Deone Mackenzie.  With a love for stamping, the company grew.  The result is a quality rubber stamp in either wood mount or stickable mount backing for all your stamping needs.  Great Impressions' goal is to provide the highest quality stamps and to inspire creativity!  Please check out our online store to see over 1,000 stamp designs today!  We know you'll find something that will leave a "Great Impression" on you!

The prize is five (5) stamps from the store.
How great isn't that? So come on and join us now in our hunt for spring.

My card then. Well, I have a few stamps from Magnolia, Sweden that I keep coming back to time after time. This is one of them. I think it's called Big tulip in barrow or something like that. I have three flowers that I really love, well then maybe four. LoL But tulips are first on my list. Two resons, they come in so many different colours and seeing a big bouquet of tulips in mixed colours can only make you happy. The second reson is that it was my grannys favourite flowers and I miss her every day. I used yet another favorite Tilda with tulip on my creation for the post before this and that goes in red...
Hmm one of the brown markers used on this card reacted strange and got really shiny while the rest got really muted. Never happend before wonder what went wrong? Can't even blame it on my photo because it's like that IRL too, but no time to fix it.

Anyway, I took yet another dive into the enormous pile of designer papers that is laying around here and used up some old stuff. I don't know from where they are but it's thick good quality that you hardly ever get anymore and they are a bit old fashion in their look. Love that but it's hard colours to work with. I had actually cut this card for my other Tilda card that I posted earlier this week but it didn't work at all. But came together with this stamp at least fairly good. I have used a few yellow pearls from Bunny Zoe and some sweet heart blossoms from I am Roses to decorate. I also found a left over butterfly from a stamp store that isn't around anymore. So many companies that closes down. And many of them are really missed by me. :(

Ok, think I covered all and then some in this post. I will be back tomorrow as well with a final card for this week. I see you then.

Love n hugs
Marie

Love your petty Spring inspired card, Marie! We're getting glimpses that it's on it's way here in Wales - the days are getting longer and there's a hint of warmth to the sunshine, when it appears! I too love tulips, but then I love most flowers (!) Great choice of papers, fab layout (might need to case this one!) and pretty embellishments too!
Hope the boys enjoy their sledging and that Spring brings good health to you all! Hugs, Lisa x

Absolutely love the shading on those tulips! I know what you mean when you say you can't help but be happy with Tulip! I like that the butterfly and the half pearls pick up that great yellow along with the DP you used.
By the way Marie - I have had a similar problem with some of my brown Copics... is that what you are using? If so - I think I have figured out that it is indicative of the pen being contaminated with another medium. Send me an email if you are using Copics and I will share what I have found...
