Anything goes over at PFP

Morning and helllo! I am back again, since last week was a joined challenge with both teams over at PFP we have now switched weeks, so now I have at least one post each week. How good isn't that? We are going from one easy theme to another over at Passion for Promarkers. This weeks theme is set to "Anything goes" but you need to use winsor &  Newton or the old fashioned Letraset brand for colouring. Nice and easy!

I have used an image from Magnolia, Sweden for my card and as usual I don't have a clue what it's called. But it is an Edwin image and I have coloured it with my Letraset markers and tria markers. The designer papers are from My Minds Eye, so a really old collection as well. Using my stash and all that. I still love the old pads I have laying around but it doesn't seem to help how much I use them, I still have plenty left over. LoL

For once have I not used white card stock to mat my designer papers, I use Java from Bazil I think the brand is. Oh well the colour is Java and it is dark brown. Really lovely colour. I have also used a Alternew die to cut the little flowers made out of triangles then I added card candy to get a center piece on them. I also used some wooden stars and a sentiment stamp from Heidi Swapp I think... I did also use one of my old punches from Fiskars called apron lace.

Sponsoring our challenge this week is Dr Digi's House of Stamps, which is offering one lucky winner 2 digi stamps. A lovely price to enjoy if you are the lucky winner of our challenge.

This is all from me for today folks. I wish you a wonderful week and do take some time and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs

Digital image over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! I am back again. Second time today. I know, it is a bit bad when it comes to displaying my projects evenly but this is how it goes for now. LoL Now is time for me to present my creation for the Paper Shelter challenge this week.

We are having a nice and easy challenge this week. We are going with the theme of "Digital image". That means that we want you to use a "digi" this week and that would mean that you have to print your image/topper on your home printer. So this week we are not allowing any premade toppers or just die cuts. You have to use some digital as focus point. Nice and easy I hope.

As we're having great weather still after two weeks have I managed to do some colouring for this challenge. Feels really good. It was a long time since I was able to sit down and colour for real so it was nice. Maybe the weather could keep going for a little longer? I have not felt good in sunny weather for many, many years so I am grateful for this period of time.

I have used the image called Hammock days and colored with my Letraset/Winsor & Newton markers. I paired it up with some designer papers from Prima, but as always do I not remember which paper pad I have used. It's really pretty with flowers and water colour look. And I have used very little of it and it's quite a few years old by now. I have used a crochet lace in cream colour and some pearls for decoration. There is also a bunch of flowers on my card. Working my way down my paper flower stash. I don't think that I ever will run out of them, well maybe the white ones. LoL

As always do we have a gift voucher worth $30 for a lucky winner. That is if you use a TPS image. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

Well this is all from me for today. I hope that you all will be able to join us in our fun challenge this week. It's nice and easy and you don't even have to use a TPS image to play along with us.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie

Anything goes Christmas or Holly and Ivy over at TMCC

Morning and Hello! Welcome back to a new challenge over at the Merry Christmas Challenge again. It't time for a new fun challenge and our theme is always Anything goes Christmas or use our optional theme. This week it is "Holly and Ivy". I am going a bit wild this time and do the Anything goes theme with an old favourite stamp of mine from Bildmålarna. The only not so good thing about the stamp is that I can't remember what the name of it is. Oh well, it's there and it is cute!

I have coloured with distress inks for this one and paired up with some lovely wintery papers. They are really soft looking in their colours and the main colours are pale green grey and browns. Reallty soft and nice. But a bit hard for me to match up as I normally go with lots of colours. But I learn, slowly.

For decore on this one have I used some small metal cornerns bought from PY hobby and some lace from my stash. Luckly I bought quite a lot of this one so I still have plenty left to use on my creations.

Anyway, I hope you take the chance and come and play with us over at TMCC this week. You know that you will be happy that you started to create your cards early this year. :)

Love n hugs
Marie

Happy birthday over at PFP

Morning and hello from a hot Sweden! Here do we everything at the same time! We celebrate the world cup gold in icehockey, having colds and getting sun burned. And to top all of this off do we also celebrate our 9th birthday over at Passion for Promarkers this week. Hurray! The reason why I started my blog ages ago!

So this week do we want to see your anniversery cards. Filled with greetings for what ever reason. I have made a card with a stamp that I can't find the name off but it is a lovely looking rose. It's a bit old fashion and I would have liked to stamp it in brown but couldn't find my brown ink so therefore black and a bit hard looking.

I used some of my Maja Design papers to match the image up as it has a vintage feel to it, just like the image. I only use some lace as decore for this card and some dies to add details. I wasn't in any mood for more and sometimes less is enough.

We have plenty of sponsors for this challenge and I thought I be a bit sneaky and add them later on when I get back home from work. I don't think you'll mind. But if you do you can always pop on over to the fabby PFP challenge blog and have a look for yourself. Denise and Gina runs this blog in a fabby way and is the best team leaders ever. So cheers to many more years together!

Here comes the big info

Round it up over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! Time for a new creation here, second one for today. I have two dt-creations coming up every second Wednesday. This one is for my Paper Shelter team and our theme this week is "Round it up". That means we want to see round shapes on your creations. The card or what you create can be round, you can use round embellishments, round the corners etc. Just as long as it is some kind of round.

For my card have I used "Most adorable duck" pre coloured version. Soccer season is on the go and I have many meetings as well for the youth part of the club. So a busy schedule at the moment. Let me say that the coming long weekend is really welcomed by me. Hopefully will I be able to work a bit head on my coming dt-projects.

To match up all the lovely colour in this super cute image have I used a mix of designer papers from Echo Park and Carta Bella. It's just tiny bits, in my world meaning a few left over sheets left from this pads and still I can't manage to throw them away. I can use some more bits and pieces for some creations or die cuts. LoL I love how the colours came together in this card. It's perfect for a little toddler or a new born. Or just as a happy greeting for anyone who happens to love birds or ducks.

Anyway, I hope that you come and join us for this fun challenge. Just use some kind of round and you are good to go. You don't even have to colour on your own if you don't want too.

Take care and enjoy the rest of the week.

Love n hugs
Marie

Anything goes Christmas with option Plaid

Morning and hello! It's christmas time here in my blog corner again. We have a new challenge up for you over at The Merry Christmas Challenge. You can either make any Christmas card you like or you can use our optional theme of plaid. Nice and easy. Make it more challenging or not. It's totally up to you!

For this challenge have I followed the challenge and used the theme of plaid. I had an Magnolia image that I coloured ages ago with distress inks and then paired them up with some designer papers from Lawn Fawn. I don't remember if it's called Winter or what it was, but it's fairly new and it is really lovely with it's grey, white and turquoise colour combo.

It looks more like blue here but it's green blueish in real life. I have used an old sketch from Papertake Weekly. Their sketches are still a great source of inspiration for me. For decoration have I used a few of my old die cuts that is left overs from my other projects. They all go into a box where I pick them out when needed. It's so boring to bring out the die cut mashine that I always make way too much of them and keep for coming projects.

I have also used a bunch of enamel dots both round and heart shaped. A few Card Craft candies is also used for decoration on this card. I think most of the die cuts are made with a Lawn Fawn die called Mini Snow flakes or something like that.

Well this is all from me for now. I look forward to see what you all come up with for this week's challenge. Come on over to us over at TMCC and join us for the fun!

Take care and make the most of your day!

Love n hugs
Marie

Photoinspiration over at PFP

Morning and hello! Hope you are all doing well. It is already time for a new challenge over at PFP. Can you believe how quickly the time flies? It's not easy keeping up with the speed that's for sure. This week are we having a photo inspiration challenge up for you all to play along with.

This is the inspirational photo. A lovely one with a blooming orchid. Take inspiration from the flowers, the shapes, the colours etc. The choise is yours, just remember that you have to use your winsor/Newton markers former known as Letraset Markers. A nice and easy one for you all to enjoy this week.

Denise Morgans foto.

I have for once used a sponsor image. Not that often I dare to do that as I never know if I will be able to join the challenges because of the pain or not. But this time I started early but hardly didn't finish anyway. LoL The weather has gone from ice cold to super hot for the season so it has been a bit of struggle. However a few days now with really warm weather has made it better again. My joints feels good in the cold while the the fibro loves the heat and since the fibro is most active at the moment I have decided to join the good weather for now.

Our proud sponsor this week is Time for Tea Designs and they offer 3 digis for one lucky winner for this challenge.

For my card have I use our sponsor image called Girl with Giant Icecream. Of couse have I coloured with my Letraset / Winsor & Newton markers. The desinger papers are from First Edition I think and I have absolutly no clue from which pad they are. They split as soon as you think about using of the the papers... So there I can't help you at all.

All the edges are distressed with some distress inks. Walnut stain I think it is. I never look at what I use, it's always the same. Then I kind of went mad with some wooden hearts and a stamp which I couldn't find the name. But I like what it says. LoL Kind of my motto. And if everything else fails, why not be happy about ice cream, right? I have also used a few pearls on the card.

Well this is all from me for today. I am totally finished now as I saw the doctor yesterday and I have trouble doing more than I normally do. So tons more tired but I am happy that I only have a three day working week. And a meeting for the soccer club, the youth section have a meeting. Well, until later...

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie
