Clean and simple over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at PFM. This weeks theme is set to
CAS.

A challenge for us that normally use designer papers ond decorations.

We're sponsored by polka doodles. I wish that I would have been able to use one of their images but my hands was not in the mood to let me use them for colouring.

On top of that is my lap top acting up. I am writing this on my phone. I will finish this when everything is working again.

Until then can you see what my teamies have been up to over at the challenge blog.

Halloween over at passion for markers

Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this weeks' theme is set to

HALLOWEEN
and our fabby sponsor this week is

All dressed up which offers one lucky winner two digis of winners choice.
Thank you!

For my card have I used one of ADU's images called Magical day. I had some trouble with this image, but not because of the image, my printer had decided it was time for vacation and I am no happy person when tech is acting up. It has continued like that today as well. Those days...

I have coloured the little witch with my promarkers even if I should have changed to copic with their thinner nibs. Easier to colour with them as I didn't manage to get the printer and laptop to work together.

My designer papers are from Simple Stories and are called Spooky Things. A fabby paper pad with wonderful colourful designer papers, the classic colours and mixed up with some pastels as well. Really lovely!

A nice chunky ribbon in black and gold together with two different kind of stars and off course a spider to that finish of this card. Hope you like it!

All the best!

Only square cards over at PFM

 Hi and hello!
Welcome to a new week and a new challenge over at Passion for Markers.  Today is our challenge theme set to

only square cards

Our lovely sponsor is Le Annes world who offer one lucky winner 2 digis of winner's choice. Thank you for them!

For my card have I used the image called Azaleas new dress. My markers and I where not much of friends today so the result is what it is. I've been hit with the flu and we're not friends either. Even my ears are hurting.

I have used a paper pad from Simple Stories and have used some metallic stars and pastel coloured hearts to decorate the card. A border die from Lawn Fawn is also used.

Sorry for the short story today! Wish you all a lovely crafting week!

Autumn colours over at PFM

Morning and hello!
Or maybe I should say happy weekend to you all! I have not been able to write this post until today. A week filled with headache have made me move even slower than normal. Our theme is set to

Autumn Colours

We are sponsored by the lovely people over at Dies to die for. One lucky winner will get a gift voucher to spend in their store. Thank you for that!

For my card have I used a few images from hÄnglar and Wings. These images is from an older set called Flygfän. I have coloured this way back and never got around to create a card with them. Now was it time! And I am grateful that I had it waiting for me. My hands isn't my bff at the moment either.

I have used designer papers from Carta Bella. I have mixed and matched from different paper pads that I got on sale! Love a bargin, don't you? Doesn't matter if they are not the newest collections, after all they are new to me!

I have been digging in my stash again and found some good matching stuff in my stash to decorating the card. I fussy cut some pumpkins and matched them with my flowers. I have also used a bunch of golden gemstones. The small glittering dots gives the card an extra bling bling. The small bats are also fussy cut from the same stamp set as the bats. A boarder punch from crealie is also used for some details.

Hope you have fun creating with this theme!

Four legged friends over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week's theme is set to

Animal friends

Our sponsor this week is the Paper Shelter  which is offering one happy winner 3 digis of winners choice. Thank you for that!

For my card today have I used an image from the Paper Shelter called Cosy winter wishes. You find it in the Paper shelter store.

My image have I coloured with a mix of different markers. I kept my colours kind of autumn-ish. I was in mood for that today. The designer papers are from Echo Park. I don't remember the name of the pad. I love the autumn and the warm colours that comes with it.

I kept things simple for this card and added a bow, ribbon and some pearls to decorate the card. NIce and simple. Tried some off white card stock for the first time. I have their white card stock as well but it is a bit too white for my taste now days. I am not sure about the off white either and the card stock was a bit heavier than the white one. oh, well time will tell maybe I can turns using them.

Any how, time for you to create something and maybe play along with us over at Passion for Markers. I look forward to see what you come up with for this challenge.

A little just for fun creation

Morning and hello!
Finally have I been able to make card out of pure joy of creating things. I have had this image coloured and ready for a card for a while now. I had picked out my designer papers a long time ago. I have just not had the energy to put a card together. All of the sudden everything changes and it comes together just like that. Lovely moments!

I am back to using my dear stamps from hÄnglar and wings. It's called Trädgårdspåtare and the set is lovely. Works both for spring and autumn. It was nice to colour this one and be able to fit for what you feel like spring or a lovely autumn time. You never know what pops into your mind.

This one is coloured with my promarkers and the sweet image is also paired up with some designer papers from Maja Design: Strawberry thief. A totally adorable paper pad from Maja design. It was got to see the paper pad come to use as well. After all I didn't bought them so that I can sit and pet the papers, they are there for me to use. I finished my creation with some ribbon and a few pearls. I also added some butterflies that is actually nail art, I use them for card art.

Have a good week and do something that makes you happy!

Anything but square over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Hi there, I am back for a little while after a bit of a break. My life in pain keeps me busy again. At least I managed to make a card for our new challenge over at Passion for markers. This weeks theme is set to

ANYTHING BUT SQUARE

A good change and challenge for me that always make square cards. Now days do I wish I had a larger big shot or an electrical die cut machine connected to the laptop. I can't make my circles as big as I want to. One day, and until then do I keep doing my cards a bit smaller.

Our sponsor this week is the lovely Dr Digis house of stamps that sponsor us. One lucky winner will get two images of winners choice.
Thank you for sponsoring us!

For my card have I used the image called Berthas bloomin' box. A fun and charming image that makes me smile. I have coloured with a mix of different brands of markers. Some months ago did I buy a bunch of paper pads on sale and today did I use the first of the pads. My cats have been sleeping on the box where I had my pads, today could I finally get my hand on it again as the cats was out in the sunshine.

The paper pad I have used is called Firefly and the brand is Echo park. The designer papers are smashing! Love the colours! I have use a lady bug, some lace, and flowers that is made for nails to decorate my card. It was fun to use stuff that I have not used before. The flowers and insects get a little smaller than I am used to but, they are perfect in size to match my images. Lucky me, because my nails ain't made for decorations. It would look horrible!

Anyway, time for you to take some time and play with papers, stamps and markers and what more you love working with. Can't wait to see what you will come up with!

Have a good crafty week!

Flower Friday

 Morning and hello!
Sitting in my bed watching the rail fall down outside my window. Have Riuben, the cat next to me. He is slowly purring next to me. It's cozy to have him so close even if it gets really warm.

I have played around with an old image from a brand that I can't remember on top of my head. But I have used it a lot during the years. It's a go to image for me. It helps me getting back to colouring and creating as it is a great one to warm up with when it comes to my markers.

I have paired the image with an old paper pad that I can't remember the name of either. Hmm, I have not used much of it but I get happy every time I manage to do some stash busting. The thing is that it take longer time for me to find what I want to use compared to how long time it takes to prep the image and decide what I want to do. I really should contact all crafting stores and forbid them to sell anything at all to me. Well, maybe glue and double sided tape.  and card stock  but that is all. My craft room and letter writing space is over loaded with stuff. It's so much that it would almost feel better starting over without all the stash that I have around.

Have a good weekend and take some time to do what makes you happy.

Hand colored image over at Passion for markers

Morning and hello!
Long time no seen. Have had some lack of inspiration for paper craft and spent most of my time with a crochet hook and yarn. No thinking, just doing. I am still doing my tiny toys for kids ending up at hospital for some reason. But here comes a card from me as we have a new challenge up over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set to

HAND COlORED IMAGE
(Markers only)

We do as always, have a lovely sponsor that offer one lucky winner 4 digis of winners pick- This week do we say thank you to the lovely people over at Lili of the Valley.

At my card do you see the sweet image called Toy Rabbit and you find it here. I had such good time colouring this one and it's done with copic markers. Some of my dear old promarkers had escaped from me thanks to my youngest kitty that loves to carry things around and make them swim in their water bowls. I am trying to teach him to use old nerf arrows/bullets instead. They are less expensive. However, it looks totally crazy when he plays with both markers and bullets.

Back to my card.... There will soon be a new baby in the family. One of my nieces is expecting a baby boy in September and I will become the less flattering old auntie to this little bundle of joy. Thought it was perfect to get a card made for the them when I was inspired to do it. :) I have used and old paper pack from Maja Design called Vintage baby. Finally got to use these lovely designer papers. I have even been decorated the inside of the card. Was a while since I did that.

And do you know what? It was great to do a bit of stash busting. Wasn't sure what to use to decorate the card but ended up with a ribbon and bow, some nail art hearts and a few pearls to that. Inside the card will I have the name and the birth day on the left side and a greeting on the right one. I have even dugg out my distress ink and gave all the edges a dash of vintage photo treatment.

It was great fun to create this card and I am actually inspired to start with another one. I believe that it would be a good idea to make a christmas card or two. I am so behind with them. How about you?

Have a good week and dont forget to do something that makes you happy!

Birthdays over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
Hi I am back once again. It was a while ago as I have not been feeling totally well lately. Too much heat and my joints really hate that moist heat that have been around lately. But now I'm back!

Our theme over at Passion for Markers is set to

Birthday

and that is my pick of theme. I was up for something easy and it can't be easier than this, Am I right or am I right?

Our sponsor this week is Colour of Love. They offer one lucky winner 3 digis from the store, of course of winners choice. Thank you for that!

And for my card then. I have used a sponsor image called Little gerbera daisy flower cup.. I have taken the frame of the image and cut it down a bit. I have coloured with copics this time and the paper pad is called Hip Hop Hooray from Simple Stories. I use their paper pads fairly often now. I like the colours and especially their vintage paper pads. Love those!

I have been digging in my stash for some flowers, lace, a charm and things like that. It was fun to be able to a card again. At this point when I write this do I feel and urge to make a christmas card or two. It was a long time since I did that. Hope to get some time to create a few of them soon.

Anyway, This is all from me for today. I have limited time when I can use my laptop without getting pain. And I need to fix a few things before I turn it off for today.

Do something that make you happy!

Add a ribbon over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Hi, how are you? I'm sitting here and write this post while a summer rain is going on outside. Have got an ear infection, first for this year. Have made a few cards when I couldn't sleep because of the pain in my ears.

Anyway, we have a new challenge over at Passion for Markers today and the theme is set to

ADD RIBBON

A nice and fun theme that I love. I have so much ribbon in my stash and I am happy every time I get a chance to use some of it. I have mega much of both ribbon and lace. It's a nice addition to a card or a scrapbooking page.

We are sponsored by the lovely people over at Dies to Die for, and they offer one lucky winner a voucher to use in their lovely store. It's worth £15.
Thank you so much for that lovely prize!

I have used an old image from my stash that I had printed, It's one of my fave digis as I love tulips and the image is nice to colour.. My promarkers have been put to use for this image.

Sorry for the bad photo. No energy to retake it at this time.

I have used some lovely designer papers from Simple Stories to go with the image. For details did I use the needed ribbon that I tied into a bow. A butterfly charm is also added to the mix.. I have also used some sweet hearts in different colours and some gemstone to finish it all up. Hope you like it.

Now is it your turn to be creative and have some fun with our theme of the week. We look forward to visit your blogs!

A card for the fun of it

Hi there!
Here is a card that I didn't do much to get to look this lovely. I found an online store called Kias Butik. Tons of fun in that store. Living in Sweden you should really visit the store.

The only thing I have done is stamping the name and year with stamps from hÄnglar and Wings. Some gemstones is added here and there. I needed to send this card as it was an earlier school end for the student. I didn't even have to colour anything.

All schools are now finished for the summer and around 18-20 of August is everyone back to normal again. My oldest have finished school and try to figure out what he wants to do. In the meanwhile will he start looking for a job or and try to get his grades up.

A little mini card

Morning every one!
I am back again. This time with a little Christmas card  made with stuff from Lawn Fawn. I have a bunch left over from earlier creative moments and I try using the leftovers. Soon is it time to start making new pieces for new cards.

It's fun to make these tiny cards ever now and then. And I will leave you with that. Do take a little time and play with your leftovers both paper scraps as well as images. It's really fun!

Have fun creating!

Masculine over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Hi there! We have a new challenge up for you all to play along with over at Passion for Markers. This week are we playing with the theme

Masculine

We are sponsored by the lovely people over at Doctor Digis house of Stamps. They offer one lucky winner 2 digis  of winners choice.

I have used the digi Baking Brian. I used the same image a few months ago and lucky for me I had another one already coloured when I had my hands acting up, due to the heat. I am a strange person that feels better in the cold and dry air. Not the sunshine and heat. I have coloured with my promarkers.

I have used designer paper from an old paper pad the I don't have the cover left on. It's not used a lot because of the embossed patterns and glitter stuff. I don't like that at all. However I did manage to make a card for my brother's big day.

I have used a simple design that I often goes to when I lack inspiration and have trouble getting a creating flow.. As I was a bit stressed did I had trouble getting the card together. It is my brother's fault, as he should not have a party and then there was one spontaneously. Stress hit but I got it done.

I did also made a thing about the inside but that did I keep private. It got better than the front. But Hey ho I got some new inspiration and have been able to make a Christmas card as well. Felt so good and that made me finish yet another card done.

Now is it your turn to give our theme a chance and we all in the team look forward to come and visit you all.

Have a good week!

Christmas Cheers 3 2025

 Morning and hello!
It's mid June and I have a new Christmas card to show you today. By now should I have made 12 of them, but I have not. There is only, 8 or 9 made so far. When the schools have come to an end in a week will I start that project. Hopefully you will see more of my Christmas creations then. I need a few more this year than before. Nieces and nephews have grown up and moved away. Lucky for me to be able to send more cards!

This card is made with an image from hÄnglar and Wings. And as most of the time for Christmas have I used Maja Design designer papers. This paper pad is from 2024. I have also dug out one of my border punches from Martha Stewart. A few die cut snowflakes that I have made extra sparkling with some gemstones. A few paper roses and Nuvo drops in silver have given the last details.

Hope you like my creation even if it is in the middle of summer and not close to winter and Christmas. It will be here sooner than later.

Use a circle over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello everyone!
It's me again. Long time no seen. I have been a bit lazy when it come to my cardmaking lately. I have spent more time with my crochet hook, making my small toys for kids at hospitals. It have been a good time when it comes to that.

Anyway, we have a new challenge up over at Passion for Markers today and this week's theme is set to

Use a circle

Our sponsor this week is Rachel Anne Miller who will spoil one lucky winner with a gift voucher worth £10.
Thank you for that lovely price!

For my card have I used a lovely image from RAM digital stamps called Friendship Mouse. Isn't it cute? I love it, it's so sweet and I love the lady bug. I have a special relationship to that insect. My grand dad used to call me Maria Nyckelpiga which is a character from a book. He always called me that and it was only him doing that. I think about him when I see one.

I have colored with a mix of markers from different brands. The designer paper is from Echo Park and the paper pad My favorite summer. As I printed my image pretty large was there not much space left for more than one dp. I added a ribbon to give some texture and details and I dug around in my flower stash and used a few of those as well. I also used a pink metal thread to give some more details with the flowers.

It was great fun to make a card again and use my metallic dies again. It was some time since I did that. This is one of those times when I wish I had a bigger die cut machine to get a larger circle but it turned out ok anyone. I have used plenty of circles on my card: for the image, the card shape and there is plenty of layers as well.

I hope you like what you see and there is plenty of inspiration over at our challenge blog Passion for Markers. We hope to see you there and I look forward to get some inspiration from all of you!

 Morning and hello!

We are sponsored by the lovely Polka doodles that offer one lucky winner 3 digis of winners choice.
Thank you for that!

For my card have I used an image called Scruff the dog - Gardening. I am so glad that I had this one coloured and ready for a card as my fingers have messed up again. Now can I do my duty as a DT-member. :)

I have coloured with copic markers and matched the image with designer papers from Simple Stories called Fur baby or Fur Babies. Having four cats myself was it nice to be able to use the designer papers with dog motives on them.

Hope you like what you see and that you will play along with us over at passion for markers.

Make it bloom over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Hi there! Hope you have had a good start of the week and that you are ready for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set by me and I have picked the theme of
Let it bloom !

We are sponsored by the lovely people over at Clearly Besotted. They offer one lucky winner a gift voucher worth £15. Thank you for that!

For my card this week have I used a House Mouse stamp that I have had in my stash for many, many years by now. The worst part? It have never been used before. I am pretty sure that I have had it in my stash for at least 8 years. Even worse, I have many stamps that haven't been used since I bought them. I could probably make a card once or twice every week with unused stamps. It shows that I went on with digi stamps instead.

Anyway, I have used designer papers from Simple Stories paper pad called Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe. It have a lovely colour scheme and lovely designs. I over coloured my image with heavy layers of colours. It was a while since I coloured and it shows. Purple /lilacs are not something I use very often.

I have coloured with Copics this time. And as I have "blooms" in my theme have I added some paper flowers from my stash and some pearls to that. And as shown on my photo have I added some glitter from my glitter pens. It shows up way better on the photo than IRL, but it's hard to photograph it.

I hope to see you during the week. I look forward to visit your blogs and find some inspiration for my creations.

Love n hugs
Marie
