Add an embellishment over at PFP

Morning and hello! How are you? Hope you have had a good start of the week? I am still struggling with the "left overs" from the flu the last few weeks. Still really tired and lacking energy. But from now it can only get better, right?

Our theme of the week over at Passion for Promarkers is to "add an embellishment". And before I forget it is my theme enamel dots. And I am affraid I used tons of them. Happy pick me up colours!

Sponsoring our challenge is Digi Stamp Boutique. The prize is £10. That is for one happy winner of our challenge! Really nice isn't it?

As a side effect of the cold has my joints taking a bit of a hit so my colouring isn't going to that well. So I have taken the easy way out and used my aqua markers again. I use them too seldom but now two challenges in a row. I needed something to pick me up and this ended up like something that I would do in an art journal, if I had the time to do that kind of craft. LoL wish that I wasn't that tired all the time so I would have the energy to do more of the art and crafts. Well, I have to be happy with what I have the energy to do.

The image and sentiment is from Sheena Douglas I think. I decided to use some golden embossing powder instead of the normal stamping technic. It looks really glittery and luxurious, just what I needed to pick me up. I did some "wild" doodling as well, just like and impression of flying butterflies. To add some dreamy feeling have I used clusters of enamel dots in different colours. The ones I have used has some glitter details to them. I have also used some golder colour shine. It's not showing that well here but it's really sparkling and nice.

Well then, I hope you like my a bit different card for the week. I do hope that you will come and join our fun challenge of the week. The theme is "Add an embellishment". The only thing you have to do is to use your Winsor & Newton or Letraset markers of any kind.

Box it up over at Winter Wonderland

Morning and hello and welcome to my mega late dt-post for the Winter Wonderland. I have been totally knocked out by the lovely flu together with my youngest. Hopefully we are now out of this horrible period with winter illnesses.

Today do we have a lovely winter day and it feels more like Christmas today than it did when the big celebrations took place. We have around -7 degrees and snow. We'll how many days that will last. :)

Anyway as I play catch up here I better get to my card for this challenge. We have the lovely  Sasayaki Glitter sponsoring us this week and the design team have used images from the sponsor. The prize is one digi for the winner of the challenge. Thank you so much!

I have coloured the lovely image called Christmas Penguins with copic markers. I have a small collection of those as well as my Winsor/Newton markers which is my go to markers. Anyway, coloured away and used tons of colours, and bright they are as well.

And since my image is colourful there is also colourful designer papers. I have had those for ages and the pad is a never ending pad. Tons of paper and lots of colours. I think it's from DoveCraft but the front is lost. I did some doodling and a piece of lace to decorate the card. Nice and easy.

Anyway, hope you like this happy card suiting for a kid I think.

Birthday card over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! Second post for today but sadly it's only to tell about the new challenge over at the Paper Shelter. I have gotten the kids flu and is totally knocked out. All before I had the chance to make the card for this weeks challenge. It is second week we have that going on in the house now. So tired of it. The kids had the tummy flu as well last week. So I just hope that we are over and done with it all after this. So please, please everyone that feels a tiny bit sick around me; stay away! I have had it for this year! LoL

Anyway, the theme over at The Paper Shelter this week is nice and easy and should get you going. We have the theme of Birthdays and want to see a lovely birthday card for someone. Nice and easy we hope.

As always you have the chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30 playing with the TPS brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice

Take care everyone and I see you soon again.

Wreath or anything Christmas

Morning and hello! I am back again with yet another creation for the Merry Christmas Challenges. This is my final card out of three that is cross stitched with a sweet little Santa. Wonder if I will be able to part from this set?

I totally adore these little charming ones. They take me around 3 - 4 hours to stitch but with many breaks as the needle is really tiny but I love the final look. They are super cute! I wonder what I will spend some time on stitching now. I have a book shelf filled with different patterns for Cross stitching but I don't have that much time for it. However this little set was lovely to work on and I am glad I managed to finish it off.

Anyway, now I can't wait to see what you create for the coming Christmas. It's only 11 months away as we have already come to an end of January. Time do fly don't you think?

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs

Inspirational photo over at PFP

Morning and hello! How are you? Hope you're having a good time and feel ok? We are having a bunch of illnesses around here. This week we're working our way through some kind of winter flu. Tummy flu last week. Lots fun around here. :(

Well, it could be worse and it could be better. But now on to todays card. We have a new challenge up for you all over at Passion for Promarkers. Our theme is Inspirational photo, and it looks like this.

Denise Morgans foto.

We want you to take inspiration from the photo when it comes to colours, images or whatever you can find inspiration from. There is some lovely stuff to be inspired by here. Like the yummy cup cakes or the lovely flowers in the back ground or the smashing berries on top of the cup cakes etc.

I have chosen to be inspired by some of the colours, the pastel parts and the cup cakes. I have used an old image from Lili of the Valley and coloured it with some aquamarkers from Letraset. It was a long time since I used them so it was about time.

The designer papers are from Glitz, I think it's called Carpe Diem. I love the fabby colours in this pad. The striped one however did I make myself with a dark grey Tria marker from Letraset. I was a bit low on grey/black designer papers so I thought I give it a try to make my own. It's not perfect but it works out well for this project.

I have quite a lot of details on this card, at least to be me. I have used tons of dies from Magnolia like the cup cake and strawberries. There is a silver charm and some golden ink from Heidi Swapp. Have watched way too many scrapbooking movies lately and many of them uses different kind of inks and shines and whatever it all is called. There is also a piece of lace and punched butterflies.

Sponsoring us this week is Lacy Sunshine and the prize is three digis. How great wouldn't it be to win that one?

Take care everyone and do something that makes you happy!
