Another card and another challenge. Decided to play a long with A spoon full of sugar this week as well. There you have to use distress inks, pearls and glitter.
My card has pearls from Bunny Zoe, glitter on the wings of Bee Tilda and on one of the DCWV papers and Tilda is coloured with distress inks. Also the edges of the papers are distressed with the inks in "old photo" I thinks. Tilda is sitting on a die from Marianne Design. Bought that from the Craft Barn. Kind of nice touch I thought. As the edges of the bluish paper is really distressed with sissors as well, I decided to let so lace come though as well for a nice little touch. Hope you like!
Now off to watch the 50 km of cross country skiing. Go Sweden Go! - LoL-

Marie

Paper take weekly challenge Sketch 35 and Passion for Promarkers colour combo + theme
Good evening! Finally managed to get a coulpe of cards done and here is the first one. A combo of two challenges PTW and PfP. Good to be able to combine every now and then. :) Then after this I'm of to watch the 50 km of cross country Skiing in the olympic games. Have been fun but now I kind of glad that it's over. Two weeks are enough for me at least. :)
The card is based on the sketch from PTW and it looks like this. The colours of PfP this week is tulip yellow and baby pink and the theme is stitching real of fake.

My card comes here
For this week's card I've used little Mimosa from Bildmalarna.se. A real cutie! Papers are from MME and came free with a card making magazine earlier this week. Flowers are from Panduro and Wild Orchid craft. Leaf are made with a die from Mariannes that I bought from The craft barn. A MS punsh is also used, together with some half pearls from Joanna Sheen.
OK, I'm off to the TV in a short while. Take good care and have a nice evening.

Get sketchy no 26
Time to try a new sketch challenge, Get Sketchy. A nice a and simple design that I liked to work with. The sketch looks like this. Have tried to get this out on the blog the whole day but blogger has not been working very good today, at least not in my computer. But now finally, here we go! :)
Take care and hugs,
Marie
For my card I have used DP from Panduro once again. Sorry but I like the colours in them. And I want to use as much of the scraps that I posible can when I like them. :) Don't save and don't use them later... But I have got my eye on some wonderful papers from MME. Favourite brand of mine. The image used on this card, is once again from Bildmålarna.se As I think "Mimo" is so cute. He is coloured with distress inks. Papers as I said from Panduro. Have used Swiss dots for embossing the brown cardstock. Cardworks Candy in the corners, MS boarder punch and a Swedish "Happy birthday" sentiment from Magnolia. That my friends complets my card. Hope you like!
Time to go to bed and hopefully get some sleep. Not that easy since Sweden just took another gold medal in the Olympic games, the cross country ski team (men) did a wonderful race tonight. Wonder if I might have any skiing stamps to make a card with? Hmmm...
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Friday sketchers week 90
At Friday Sketchers this week we have a lovely sketch to follow from Beatrix. The DT has done great job with it. Check them out on the FS blog to see for yourself! Great inspiration!
The skech looks like this
The skech looks like this
For my card I've used one of the new images from Bildmalarna.se. Mimosa is coloured with distress inks. DP are from Panduro once again. Flowers from Wild Orchid Craft and Prima. Stickle added to the flowers are Cotton candy and chrystal from Rangers, halft pearls from Bunny Zoe. Sentiment computer written on Letraset safmat. (It's not that visable in real life like on the picture).
Now time for me to do some cross stÃtching. A little work out for my hands and fingers. They are not having a great day how to speak. I'm tired of all pain everywhere in my body. Would love for it to take a break for a few weeks.
Well, hope you have a better day than me.
Take care and hugs,

Just Magnolia sketch week 43
Good afternoon to you all!
A quickie post from me today as one of the kids are home from kindergarten sounding like a broken car or something simular. The card is made for the Just Magnolia Challenge.
This week I've used to Magnolia images Tilda with strawberries and a doggie. I use the masking technic way too seldom so I thought it was time again. They are coloured with distress inks. Have used some dark red half pearls from Bunny Zoe, roses from Wild orchid crafts and the white ribbon is from there as well. A couple of pearl pins, retro flower punches and grass punch is also used together with a MS boarder punch. All DP are from Magnolia Ink. Also used a little piece of left over lace.
Time to take care of W again. We're watching every movie the kids have I think. At the moment we're on the second movie about "Tintin".
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Papertake weekly Check this out!
At Papertake weekly this week the Challenge is "Check this out!" Which means tons of different kind of squares I guess.
I manage to make my card with DP from Papermanias Blue Berry hill and a Tilda pad from Panduro that actually matched up in the colours. I'm still amazed by that. :) I've also used some stickles, flowers from Prima and Wild orchid craft, some pins from Whiff of Joy, card candy and some heart gems from stash. Image used is "Tilda with cat" (from Magnolia) once again. Kind of my fave at the moment. Ribbon is also from Panduro's Tilda range.
Time for some rest and relaxing downstairs, may be even a little fire.
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Passion for Promarkers week 39
A little late in the week compared how it has been lately here in my little blog world. Spent a day at the hospital, a small surgery that seems to have been a success and now I'm back to card making land again. :) Well, I kind of wonder about it because of the terrible colour combo that went throgh my hands this night. Was in pain and needed something else to think about, may be I should have tried a little harder to sleep. I guess it can't be top performance everytime, can it?
The challenge this week at PfP is "bows and buttons". At least I got that part right. Keep your eye closed and have a look at this well "creation". The image is a new realize from Bildmalarna.se. It's from their club kit this month.
Have a good eve everyone!
Hugs,
Marie

The Sugar bolw challenge 29
G'day everyone! Time for another card and another challenge. I had some time "left over" and what better than spending it making a new card? This time I entering the Sugarbolw challenge which is a sketch from Tiet. It looks like this. You should also use 3 flowers, 2 brads and one button.
I have used a favourite stamp of mine from Sugar Nellie of course. I can't remember the name of. I never do but especially not today. Have a little vistit to the hospital in the morning for a smaller surgery and I'm kind of nervous about that. :( Urrk! Hate hospitals!
Well back to something more fun! My card! I've used DP from Panduro and a down load from ACOT called "Sweet n' Sassy". Card candy in the corners, daisies from Joanna Sheen I think, brads and button from stash. "Daisy" is coloured with distress inks.
Take care and hugs,
Marie

OK, I'm off to pick my boys up from kindergarten. Out in the snow again. It's actually snowing again. Not much but enough for me to want to move. How about Canada? It seems to warm over there when you look at the olympic games. :)

Just Magnolia Week 42
Another day, another card... :) Today it's the challenge of Just Magnolia that is on for me. The theme is "Love" so I went for a base of pink. I found a really great down load from "A cherry on top" called "Young love". I really love the colours in this "pack". Both pale and bright at the same time. Just yummie! :)
For the image I've used one of the new Tildas, Honey bee or something like that I think it's called. Really cute I must say. She is coloured with distress inks and I love how I finally could keep a whole image together without going totally crazy in the colour combo.
The card is decorated with a chip board heart covered in cotton candy stickles from Rangers, and then got some roses, rosebuds, and grassy leafs on it. The corners swirls are from a stamp set of Heidi Grace. Half pearls is a "must" for me at the moment. Bunny Zoe offers these great pearls. Love the wonderful colours, have to restock soon. :) The sentiment says "For you" in Swedish, didn't want it to get too "valentinish". This way it can be use for a birthday card or just to send a little note. It's "loveable" enought with the heart antennas and the pink glitter heart. LoL
So over and out from me for now.
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Friday Sketchers week 89
Hi again! Sundays seems to be my blogging day when I get all my postings done. Third time today, and my last for this week. Thank God you probably think! :)
I end my blogging with a card made for the Friday Sketchers challenge blog. A nice and simple sketch from Aud. Very useful one. I've once again used my DP from Panduro, flowers from Wild Orchid crafts, cat charm from Landstoken.se, Tilda with cat from Magnolia and half pearls from Bunny Zoe. The flowers are really covered in stickles from Rangers Waterfall and frosted lace. Tilda are coloured with distress inks.
Aud's sketch
The Olympic games are on and I'm going to get down to the fire and watch some of it, and cross stitch for a while since I've got tones of pain in my hands and knees today. Well, cross stitching won't help my knees but my hands will feel better after some stitching. Very strange but true!
Oh, by the way. I support a cat shelter called "Katthemmet Kompis". It burned down on New Year's day. They are still looking for ten cats that has not been found yet, but the other day one of those cats got caught after one and a half month out in this cold and snowy weather. Now it's "only" nine to go. It's kind of a miracle that Memphis came home again. That's the name of the sweet little lady that is back in the warmth again. Welcome home sweetie! :)
Have a good evening!
Hugs for each and every one,
Marie

A spoon full of sugar, recipe card
This week at A spoon full of Sugar we have a recipe to follow. You need to use one patterned paper, one embossing, one ribbon and one button.
For my card I've used a down load from A cherry on top for my DP, the down load is called "Sweet n' sassy", "Berry Tilda" from Magnolia, a ribbon and button from Panduro I think. Embossing is some kind of swirl with birds from cuttlebug. Tilda is coloured with distress inks from TH, Rangers. Have also used a corner stamp from Heidi Grace.
Have been out playing in the snow with W today. Went downhill with him, not on skies though. We had a great time and many laughs. I found myself beaten in each race we had. Much to his enjoyment. :) Great fun!
Have a good evening,

Papertake weekly challenge Sketch 34
Hi there!
Another card made for the PWC from me today. A card going in red, blue and white today. Fave Colours for me. DP are down loads that I really can't remember from where since they have been around for ages. I guess the blue strips and dots are from PinkPetticoat and the daisy paper are from Scrapbooking Mad, maybe...
The skech
I've used Magnolia Tilda this time as I tend to do quite often, may because I have most of those stamps. :) The card is decorated with some cardcandy and some half pearls. Pearls from Bunny Zoe. Nothing more to ad I think. Time to take care of the last pieces of ironing before the boys come back home again. They are out looking at working mashines like diggers, sky lifts and stuff like that. Not my idea of fun, but the little ones love it. Then we'll plan to play in the snow for a while. Get some air would be nice.
Happy Valentines day all!
Hugs,
Marie

Passion for Promarkers week 38
Hi all out there in the winter weather! Snow is coming down like crazy today, again. It's a never ending story this winter. :) But snow is better than rain, so I try to have a little smile in my face at least.
This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers is three colours of blue: Agean, Sky blue and Cool Aqua.
I just bought this little fellow from Bunny Zoe's "Mimo with Roses" (From bildmalarna.se) and that is what I chose to colour with the promarkers this week. DP are from Panduro and once again from my supermarket kit. (That's the stripy one). Half pearls also from Bunny Zoe's, CS from Bazill and that's all I've used this time. Clean and simple. Love how the colour combo came out in the end. :)
Now it's time for me to pick up my boys at kindergarten, days go so quickly when they are away. :)
Have a good day!
Hugs,
Marie

Friday Sketchers week 88
At Friday Sketchers there is once again a great sketch to work with and since I like great sketches and are not very good at it myself, this is the perfect challenge for me. I hope to learn something, I always hope for that. This week it's the lovely Tanja that provides the sketch for us, how nice of you! :) It's a really great one! Again! -smile-
My image is from this winter's club kit from Magnolia as you probably see. I've added som cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid crafts, DP from Panduro once again, as the charm and ribbon, half pearls from Joanna Sheen. Tilda is coloured with distress inks in "brownish" colours. And do you know what? I actually like the finished look of this card. It's not often I do that because I think I have so much to learn, but this one turned out just fine. Hurray!
It's (more) than the middle of the night now and I really have to go to bed and sleep a little. It's totally wired to be up at this point of the (day) night. No one else is awake just me and the cat, Hasse who is happily playing with one of his toy rats. I'll leave you with this!
Have a good night everyone!
Hugs,
Marie

A spoon full of sugar goes sketchy
A spoon full of sugar has a lovely sketch for us all to follow this week.It looks like this and it's made by Sonia. Thanks for this great sketch! Great fun to work with. I will be using it again, so thanks a lot!
For my card I've used a Tilda from Magnolia, DP from Panduro. A cookie napkin from House of inspiration. Half pearls from Bunny Zoe's. Tilda is coloured with distress inks in "happy" colours.
This is finally all from me for today! Three times during the same evening. I have been working on all cards at the same time, so they kind of got finished at the same time as well. Time for some TV-time, finally!
Have a good evening everyone!
Hugs,
Marie
Just Magnolia Monthly special
This week at Just Magnlia there is a chance to learn how to braid a basked. I have not done that in ages. I used to do that every now and then in thin wood when I was younger. Learned that from a school nurse! Willy my olderst son asked what I was doing and wanted to help so this project we made together. Great fun! He has chosen the DP and he wanted it to be two different. (I just glad that they matched). It's a download from Nitwit called, well something something. Can't find it right now. We had great fun together, me holding it some kind of straight while he was braiding. He is three so I'm really pleased with the end result expecting the worst from the beginning. He did a great job listening and understanding what he should do. Thanks for a great time with one of my sons! :)
I had coloured my Tilda in "way back", before I knew what I should use her for and the colours went great with Willys choise of papers as well. Can't be better in that way. We went for some bows and not so many decorations as the basked became quite busy with two different kind of DP, just some ribbons in blue and white.

This is the end result for us. At the moment the basket is filled with "Duplo" (the big Lego pieces). He got to keep it of course. He was after all a great little helper during this project, and Duplo is after all more healthy than candy! :)
A good night to you all!

Passion for promarkers week 37
Hi you all!
Have managed to put together a card or two during the weekend. Feels good to have worked with the hands for a while. :) This card is made for the Passion for Promarkers challenge this week which has a theme ‘all creatures great and small’. I dug out my woodware set of stamps (Peeking over), the very first stamps I bought when I went back to stamping. I still think they are the cutest! :) I made a card with a litte frame in it. I think it was Claudia at Pretty Pressings that had a tuorial on that. I enjoyed making another kind of card once again. The designer papers are from Magnolia, flowers from Reprint and Panduro, brads from Papermania and coloured with the promarkers.
Time for some relaxation in front of the TV with a cross stitch embrodery. Have to finish that picture soon. Have been working on way to long, and my hands needs to work a little more. Not a good "rheumatism" day today. :(
Have a nice evening and hugs,
Marie

Paper take weekly challenge Love Actually
Another challenge at Papertake Weekly. This time close to Valentine's day the theme is Love Actually. Once again I've used some Magnolia stamps from the new winter collection. Hanging tilda and ribbon with bow and hearts. They are coloured with distress inks from TH. CS from Basill and DP from Panduro (a design pad). Some "greyish/purple" half pearls from BunnyZoe, and some heart brads from stash. The result looks like this. (Sorry about the strange photo, just couldn't get it straight today).
It has snowed again this night. It's a night mare! It's wet and it's lots of it. I don't want more snow now. Where is that yellow thingie they call sun? I would love to see some it, now please! The boys are at kindergarten having fun with their friends but it is soon time to pick them up again. Time goes so fast during days. And really slow during the nights since P. refuses to sleep calm. He seems to have a period with lots of dreaming. Screams and cry in the sleep and the rest of us don't get to sleep either. Hope it will be better soon.
Anyway, have a good day!
Hugs,
Marie

Friday Sketchers week 87
At Friday Sketchers this week there is a lovely sketch made by Jeanette. Clean and simple, and a treat to work with. Thanks a bunch for that one.
It's snowing again and the boys love it. But wonder why it is so much of it? To be honest so do I! Guess I have to go out and clean up in front of the mail box. Don't want a mad postman, then I would not get my supplies in one piece! :)
Have a good day!
Hugs,
Marie
My card is made with a little help for a Sugarnellie image from last year, coloured with distress inks. Half pearls from Bunny Zoe's. Flowers from stash, McGill fernpunch for leafs. Can't remember from were this bright DP is but I do love the colours. ;) Sentiment is cut from a dovecraft stamp. Ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts and I think that's cover it all. It was a nice sketch to work with and I think I'll be using this one again. Good when you need to finish a card fairly quick.
