Here we go again!

Welcome back! It's time for one more challenge here in my world today and now we're going to the Paper Shelter for the next challenge. This week would like to see you honor your mums
An ode to mum

is our theme. As usual I've used the image from the PaperShelter (as it is for their challenge, lol) and the papers I have absolutly no clue from where I got them. LoL Gosh I'm really druged at this time. Only 2 more weeks before the doctors cleans up my knee. The waiting is horrable! Back to my card, I'm guessing one of the new kits from NitWit once again. I have turned the image around (mirrored it) and then coloured with my promarkers. I'm so glad I dared to go blue. Love how the colours came out this time.

So now you know what to do, take a seat in the garden shadows and start colouring away. Can't wait to see what you all come up with. And now you all have a shot of winning. If you use an image from TPS shop you can still win the great prize of $15 vocher to spend in the store. If you don't use a TPS image you can win one digi stamp of your own choise from the TPS store. Fabby isn't it?

Take car and love n hugs for you all. I have to go and see if I can do anything to make my knee feel a tiny bit better. All links you need, you can find at my sidebar. Nice and easy!

Wendsday again and I am still a week behind

Morning to you all again! It's time for another challenge over at For Fun at this time. This week we have the theme of

Green Card, on no, not the colour green. We would love to see some recycling on your card. Use a pice of card board, some old buttons, news paper pages what ever you can come up with.
So for my card then I have used this lovely hot air ballon, coloured it with promarkers and combined it with circus papers from the Nitwit collection "TopHat". My recycling is the "well papp" behind the image and the buttons that I've gotten from the lovely people over at the local cat shelter. I have treaded them with embrodery floss from my left over x stitching kits. (That's where most of my cards end up).
I do hope that you enjoy our challenge this week and come and play with us. There is a lovely prize up for grabs as well from Phindy's place. See you over at For Fun challenges! Oh dear! I must have been out of focus once again. When shall I learn? All the links you need to get to the challenge is found in my sidebar.

Where has the time gone?

It's already time for a new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges. This time the theme is set by our lovely Amy, so be sure to join in.
Beautiful Babies

That's right we want to see anything babies. Can't be too hard can it? As usual we have a big bunch of lovely sponsors that is offering you some lovely prizes. Be sure to pay them all a visit, without them we couldn't offer you all those wonderful stuff each and every time.

2 Digi Sets of the Winner's Choice

LOTV - £10 Gift Certificate

3 Digi's of the Winner's Choice

For my card then have I used an image from Magnolia and coloured it with promarkers. Some little glittery stuff on the wings. A little charm right under the bow. Some simpe half pearls in the corners. I'm not much for decorations when it comes to kids or baby cards. Clean and simple is nicer for them in my opinion. As there was no baby in mind when I did this card I went for yellow and green this time. Once again I've managed to get some strange shadows in my card. There is actually now shading around the baby. The bright sun is playing games with me here, and the part that looks turkos is actually much softer green. Oh well, things happens!

Anyway I hope to see you back over at Bearly Mine and do be sure to check out what my teamies have been up to. As usually they rock every challenge. Time to hit the bed again as this smashing summer weather we have here in Kalmar at the moment is killing my joints. Give me back the snow! I'm probably the only one in the world wishing for that right now. LoL Only a few more weeks before I have the suregery on my right knee and I can't wait. So tired of all the pain. Wonder if they can fix my neck and shoulder at the same time? Would be great!

I see you all back here tomorrow when it's time for another doubel posting here in my blogging world.

Take care and love n hugs for you all

Second post up for this lovely Wendsday!

Hi again every one! Hope you're enjoying your day? Here the sun is shining and you can really feel that the spring is here. The trees starts to look green and I sneeze all the time. Allergy! LoL So I know spring is here!

Now it's time for the Paper Shelter Challenge for this week. Today would we like to see you

BE INSPIRED BY NATURE

It might be the flowers that are going at this time of the year, it might be the colours etc. The sky is the limit! For my card I have used the sweet looking little bear with one flower. He is a real cutie! I have gone with the colours green blue and brown as they are very much nature for me. I have also done some recycling on my card which feels nature friendly. The corrugated card I've use from a delivery filled with scrap goodies. The lovely bear is coloured with promarkers this time as well.

I have only used a couple of brads and some webb as decoration on my card. Thought that was enough. Thank you so very much Annelie. You are the best! :) All DP are from Donna over at Bearly Mine Designs. I think it's from the "For the boys" Digi kit. I should really write down on them what they come from. I always end up chasing the sourse for the name. :)

OK, this will be all for today. Oh, you should check out Donna's store as she is having an Easter sale at the moment. I leave you with this and look forward to see you over at the PaperShelter this week. You know where to find us. And don't forget to use a paper shelter image to be in the prize draw for the awsome prize.

It's Wendsday again

Morning to you all! It's double posting day again, in other words Wendsday. This little creation is made for the For Fun Challenges which this week is to create something

EASTER

Should not be too hard even if it might be in last minute. But you can always hand the card over to someone you visit or something. This week we are sponsored once again which it looks like we are going to be for the rest of the year, so another little prize up for you. This time from Di's Digis. Be sure to check out all the cuties just by clicking the picture.
We got a lovely selection of images to chose from in the team and I have used this little sweet heart for my card. It was such great image to colour. Lots of fun. I could easaly have made a few more cards with those lovely images. To bad it's only 24 hours in a day. :) The little sweetie is coloured with promarkers. The sentiment is from Cardwork crafts.

The half pearls are from Bunny Zoe. DP as usually from Donna's Bearly Mine Design. (Be sure to pop by the store as a sale is going on there at this moment!) It's the newest kit Daffodills used here. I totally adore the green paper. It's so sweet. :) All edges are distressed with walnut stain from Rangers, just to give some more edging to the card and make it pop a tiny bit.

OK, off to do some boring but important stuff before I get back here again. During the time I'm away you can always start making your Easter card or project. See you over at the For Fun Challenges!

A little card by MI

Evening everyone!
Just sitting here and thought I make a quick little note here on the blog. Have somehow manage to make a card that isn't for any of the design teams I'm on. It was quite a while since I did that so it feels really good. I always check out the challenge over at Passion for Promarkers when it's up, and every week I think this one I must do. And then there is not enough time. I did actually start this card last week when the theme was pink and yellow but never got around to finish the card. Didn't get any further than colouring the image. LoL Well a good start.

So this weeks theme then, make your own embellishments. That I have done with a die from Spellbinders, create a flower. I thought that shape looks a bit like an umbrella that have been out in a very windy rain and turned the whole thing the wrong way. Then I thought it looked a little empty so I added a couple of pearl sticks that I made with a few of the million pearls that is found around here and never get used. Also added some pearls from Bunny Zoe and a few dew drop from the local flower shop to give the thought of water drops. All the DP are from Basic Grey this time.

Hope you like the card. Oh, and I used the sketch from I love promarkers where I also will enter my card. I almost forgot. The sweet image is from Suger Nellie. Isn't he adorable?

Until next time, love n hugs

Here comes the For Fun challenge

Hello again! Second post for today and now it's time for the For Fun Challenge which is to use a bunch (at least three) of the following colours

Purple, pink, blue, yellow or green

This should be a great colour combo for a spring card, and or Easter that is coming up soon. For this challenge we are sponsored by MelJens again. Be sure to pay them a visit and look at their fabby selection of digis.

With all that said, here comes my card for you to take inspiration from. I have managed to use all the colours in the challenge. Candies are great that way, comes in all colours! :) I have combinded the whole thing with DP from Papermania I believe that have been laying around unused for ages. Pearls from BunnyZoe and flowers from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts.

And with this I leave you for today.

Love n hugs

Create4Fun - The lovely sketch

Good Morning to you all!

It's Wendsday again and by that you know it's double posting here in "MI" blogspot. So this is the first one here today. I'm starting off with The Paper Shelter challenge which is a sketch by Kevin. Feel free to rotate the whole thing, we just need to be sure to see the sketch in your design.

As always, be sure to use a PaperShelter image to have a shot at the fabby prize that is up for grabs every week at the challenge. A $15 voucher to use in the TPS store.

This was a really hard card to get together. This is my third attempt. The first two ones went in the waste basket quicker than glue dries! :) First one did I mess up myself, the second one ended up with cat  foot print on it and then some blood from a wound on the cat. Too bad it wasn't on my pirate card from last week. LoL Then it could  have worked out anyway.  After this totally crazy card making seans I didn't have any energy left for colouring any more images, so I went with this pre coloured lovely image called "Pretending to be a mum". The sentiment is from LOTV, flowers from Wild Orchid Craft and pearls from BunnyZoe. My DP are from Bearly Mine Design and is called "Summer's Lace Dream". The swirly stamp is from Stempelglade.

Hope to see you over at the Paper Shelter Challenge blog in the coming week.

Love n hugs

Stuck the rabbit in a little flower patch on three sides, and the boy and rabbit got the fourth side. It's all made of one sheet of 12"*12" card stock and some left over dp. A bunch of flowers, some punched leafs, some ribbon. In the middle of the flowers some dew drops in all kind of colours.

Me and the rest of the Design team are looking forward to see what you all lovely people comes up with.

Anything goes over at the PaperShelter

Morning to you all! It's Wendsday again and by now you all know what that means. Double posting here at my blog. Today we start off with the Paper Shelter. And this week is so simple that I kind of expect everone to take part. LoL

Anything goes

And of corse it would be really nice to see you all using Papershelter images. They are cheep to buy and a pleasure to colour. So come on now and show us what you can do! If you do use the PaperShelter images you have a shot at the gift voucher of $15 to spend in the store. Tons of goodies for that.

For my card this week have I used one of the guys from the "pirate kit". I have had this guy coloured since forever and have not managed to make anything of him. Well, I had a bunch of idear but when I couldn't get them to work, I put it all aside. Then I found a Pirate digi paper kit over at NitWit Collection and then I could make this card at least, with a little pirate theme. So with that said, I have used the digi kit to cut out my embellishments. Have just added a few card candies from Craft Work Cards, and some golden stickles in the treasure chest. Just to add a little bling. Hopefully the black dotties remind you of canon balls! :)

Anyway, I hope to see you over at the PaperShelter blog and show us your stunning creations. Can't wait!

Love n hugs

A birthday card for another little gal

At least one weekend each month is a birthday party that my olderst "has" to attend. It feels like it will be a very long year if every single one of the pals at day card shall have a party. I am not much of a party gal myself and kind of get stressed of just thinking about it. :) Still I can't refuse him to go to the parties can I? He loves it. And when he very polite asks me if I can make his friend a card, it's just to get started.

This is what I made for his sweet and very cute friend Elsa. They have always (can you say that about five year olds?) been very good friends and played great together. I used a Hänglar & Stänglar image that I have had for quite a while now. Coloured her with promarkers in quite bright versions of pastels. Paired her up with dp from Kaiser Craft's "Bubble gum line" (totally adore those papers). A few pops of card candy here and there. Pearls and some poppy flowers from Wild Orchid craft. As I was very tired when I made the card, I kind of flipped my back ground paper the wrong way. Should have had the cheerful flowers out and the pink in, but hey. Stranger things has happend. :) In the end with the tag made with a magnolia die and some ribbon it took away some of the pink parts so it doesn't feel to be that much.

I even took the time to decorate the inside of the card. With a "five", congrats (grattis) in swedish, his friends name and of course who it was from. :)

Now it's dinner time. I wish you all the best for the day and here I leave you with love n hugs

Marie

A little quick note...

Donna over at Bearly Mine Designs has been busy designing again. This time she has worked together with Fred she said and made a Spring daffodil digi kit. Lots of spring feelings there. Be sure to check out both Donnas Bealy Mine Designs and the lovely digis over at Fred she said.

I have not been able to make a card using these yet, but I do hope that I will manage that over the weeked. For now a good night and love n hugs
