Well, my card that I finally manage to photograph. It's still a card for the new challenge over at the Paper Shelter Winter birthdays with sentiments and cold colours. I have used the lovely image called winter goddess. She is really lovely and it was a joy to colour her in just as it always is with the TPS images.
I have paired her up with some lovely cold dps from Panduro in blue and lilac pink. Added some flowers from wild orchid crafts, a charm that I think comes from ROX stamps. I covered it in gesso and glitter to tone it down a bit. Around the edges did I use some glittery stripes that I have had for ages and used all theh time before. A swirly die that I got from Joanna Sheen. I cut it down to pieces to fit the card better. Also a whole bunch of punched snowflakes cut in with CS and some old gemstones to give them a shine. The lace came from the super market. Nice and broad it it is, love that and wish I had bought some more of it. They only have it for Christmas. Later this year I make a great stock up of that. LoL My sentiment is tiny but it's there and it simply says "Grattis" (congrats in Swedish). The stamp I had planned to use was to big for the space I had left, so major rethinking there.
Anyway, I am really pleased that I managed to finish this off and get it blogged in time. I will reward myself and spend an hour our so colouring before going to bed. I think I deserve it. LoL
Thank you to you who have left the kind comments on my blog even if I have been a really, really bad blogging friend during the last month. I really do hope to do better this year, as soon as I learn to handle the stress I feel right now and the tiredness. I think I have to do something about how and when and what I am eating and more important, learn to relax and breath. Easier said than done, but I need to give it a go.
As always the big gift voucher is up for those of you playing with a TPS image, and three images of your choice playing with another brand.
Love n hugs
Marie

Your card is beautiful. Lavendars and purples...my favorite colors. The image is pretty and your coloring turns it from pretty to stunning. I love the flowers with gesso on them...such a winter-y feeling! Such beautiful snowflakes...and little gems in the center of each one. I love your papers and that glittery around the edges...well, that just sparkles like crazy and makes this card an eyecatcher. I love your lace and have some wide laces I'd love to share with you. Please e-mail me with your address and I will drop some in the mail to you. After all, I am the queen of lace. Hahaha! Beautiful card, Marie, and I hope your family feels better soon. A little time for yourself might also make YOU feel better. Coloring is a great medicine. Hugs, Gail P.S. Waiting to hear from the mortuary now so we can have the ceremony of putting the urn in the niche.
Hello Marie, you sound like you are having a hard time at the moment, do hope Willy is feeling a little better. A lot of people here in the UK are also down with sickness bugs, they get every where don't they!... Hope things start to lighten up soon:)
