My final sea side card from Bildmålarna

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great weekend. I am preparing myself for the coming thunder storm and try to keep busy while waiting. Gosh! I wish it wouldn't interfer so badly with my life. It's a terrible phobia to have as I guess every phobia is.

A few weeks back I decided that it's enough with pain in my life so I called the worst doc I have to get my old meds back and I got them without having to visit him. Yeah! Glad I didn't have to go there at least so now I am back on an epilepsy medication. And no that illness I don't have but it take the edge of my pains and make my joints less stiff. Hopefully everything will turn for the better now, at least when my body has gotten used to them and don't make me feel so tired and sea sick all the time which in a way is appropriate for the card I show today. LoL

This is my final card for my kids' teachers. And together with them I made them each a little picnic basket and filled it with fruit caramels. In the botton of the baskets I had pictures of the boys. All the baskets was a little different just as the cards but still the same. All of it is made with Bildmålarnas designer papers and stamps. There is also a piece of Prima papers (the brown one) as I ran out of matching Bildmålarna papers in a good colour. :)

I have coloured with my Letraset markers and use some hand made flowers in Kraft card and some flowers from both I am Roses and WOC. The bottle with sand is from ROX stamps and the long blue green flower stem is from Magnolia. Pearls and some hemp string from my stash.

One of the baskets... I made those by looking on pictures on the internet. Have made them "free hand" after what I have seen and not followed any cutting files or instructions from anyone. On the baskets for Philip's teachers I have used a lifebuoy charm. It represents the lifesaver they have been when it has been hard, both with all my illnesses and the help we have needed and how wonderful they handle everything that came with the death of one of the kids in the group. I believe that all the kids in this group has an angel waching over them forever in this kid. She happened to be one of Philip's best friends the first two years of day care so it was a really hard time.

From above comes a photo as well. This is another one of the baskets. How I know? Different handles! Matching flowers and the sand bottle. The sand is from our favourite beach here in Kalmar. We have to go 25 km each way, but it's so worth it. It's the best one around! Well taken care off and just enough big as well.

And some happy news to make this post even longer. From August I will be joining the Aud Sentiment Challenge blog as one of their new designers. I kind of applied to that team to challenge myself. I am one of those that hardly ever has a sentiment on my card, and now I have to put one on each one! How hard this will be and so much fun! Thank you so much for having me on your team. It will be a blast and I will finally get some more cards done!

Ok, this was all for today. Wish you a wonderful weekend and now time for a new bunch of pills and some new dizzyness. Wish that part will go away, soon!

Love n hugs
Marie

More sea side...

Good afternoon everyone! Hope you're doing fine and are enjoying the lovely weather today. I can hardly move today as something snapped in my shoulder during the night. Don't share your bed with your 6 year old, no space left for you. I have probably got an infection going again and I am moving like an old fashion robot. LoL Well, that's life.

I have another sea side card to show you today. I have had two up here earlier and now it's time for a third one. I made a whole bunch of those for my kids' teachers, but I will only show one more after this. :)

The image is from Bildmålarna and is coloured with Letraset Markers and Prisma pens. The dps are also from Bilmålarna and I have used pretty much the same things on this card as I did on the one shown last week. On this card some recykling of an old onion net has been done and I have used some flowers on both sides of the image. They are from Magnolia (bought from Ljuva Änglar), WOC and I am Roses. The little bottle to the right is from Rox Stamps and has some lovely sand in it. Some hempstring from TGR and distress ink around some of the edges is also used to make this card.

Thanks for looking!

Love n hugs

Busy Busy Day

Hi again, second time today. Realized that I have a card for a challenge that will close in a day and I better get it before I forget all about it. I am so caught up in the CC I take part in at the moment so I don't know what the time is or anything. And tonight I will get robed of one of my beloved hours. Hate it when we have to change the clock one hour forward. Love it the other way. The best thing in the world is to wake up Sunday morning, look at the time and realize that hey I can stay in bed for one more hour and time will be the same. :) Best gift ever. Guess I have to stand it being taken away first. LoL

Ok, back to my card which is made for the Bildmålarna challenge and this month the challenge is "yellow". Once again it's a baby card I have made. I have made this one for my parents to send as one of my brothers got his first kid a week ago. I didn't plan to show the card here before my parents had sent it but as mum is always late with things like this, I can't wait anymore. I just hope they are so busy with their baby boy that they don't check any mails or postings on FB. LoL

The image is coloured with distress inks and cut out with spellbinder dies. I think I borrowed the sketch from  Papertake weekly (have to check that). The designer paper is from the new Bildmålarna realize on the front and Maja Design Vintage Spring. The pad is to die for, if you don't have it, go and get it right away. :) Also the new Bildmålarna papers are to die for. Really lovely, wish I have had one more of this yellow one so I could have made the inside the same, well maybe next time. The poem on the inside is also from Bildmålarna, and so is the charm if I remember correct. Some pearls, hearts and ribbon is used as decorations.

See you soon again and then I'll be writing in Swedish again. LoL

Good afternoon!

Hello and welcome to a new week here with me. Hope you are doing fine and have had a lovely weekend. As I am still having trouble with my shoulders I spend as little time as I can by the PC, but I miss it too much and can't help myself. LoL So still tons of pain and fighting the health insurance office, not taking those two in to count it's a good day. You see, positive thinking! I like it. It's almost as good as gratefulness. Have you been grateful for what you have around you today? If not, it's time to start that thought now.

This card of mine is made with a lovely digi image from Sweet and Sassy. It's called autumn collage and I just love it. I have managed to fool my laser printer this time and got it printed on water coloring paper. Coloured have I done with distress inks in wonderful rich lovely autumn colours. My designer papers are from Bo Bunny. The flowers was white in an earlier life, I recoloured them with my Letraset family. Some golden corners, a piece of film strip and golden pearls are my decorations for this card. I took inpiration for the card design from a sketch provided from CLP challenges, the sketch is an older one.
