We have a new challenge for you over at FOR FUN!

It's Wendsday again and here we are with a new challenge for you over at the For Fun Challenges. This week we are going Sketchy. So please use this sweet looking sketch and make a creation of your own and come and join us in the fun.

After seeing the snow coming down on us here in Sweden for two days in a row, I needed just a little touch of spring and I thought this little image would do the trick. It's from Bildmålarna and it's called "For my love" if I remember right. The sentiment is from an earlier club kit from the same company. Fitted perfect here I thought. My little teddy gang is coloured with my aquamarkers from Letraset. DP are from Bearly Mine once again. These are from an upcoming digi set, in the shop next week. Flowers are from WOC and so is the ribbon. Leafs made with a die from qickcutz, butterflie made with a Woodware punch. Half pearls from BunnyZoe.
Now it's time to relax for a while, rest my back and then some work out to see if I at least could get some little boost of energy back. Would be soo nice! See you soon! Don't forget to join us over at For Fun this week.

Love n hugs

The second challenge over at The Paper Shelter

(this is one of two posts today, please scroll down for the For Fun Challenge)

Morning everyone! Such a sweet bunch of cards we had over at our first challenge over at the PaperShelter. I do hope you'll join us again this week. Don't forget to use a PaperShelter image to be in the price draw. A wooping $ 15 to use in the PaperShelter store. How great isn't that? Another week has passed by and here I am with a new card for you all from the cute and whimsical looking images from the Paper Shelter. The theme to follow this week is:

SEEING RED!

For my card this week I have used the lovely looking image called " My lovely Pet". The girl coloured in a bunch of red and orange promarkers and the little doggie in brow, after all there is a limit to how much you can use red on your image. :) My dp are from Bearly Mine as usual. This time from the "Love Dreams" and "Spring Fligth" collections. Flowers are a mix of Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. The pins are from my stash. Leaf and butterflies from WoodWare punches. Bling stones from Anitas.

Sweet and short this time. Still horrable aces in sholders and neck. I do need to stay off the computer a couple of days. Do you think I can? You right, of corse I can't. LoL But I can give it a try and not be on line that much...

Awards, a whole little bunch of them

These have come my way from some very dear blogging friends of mine. Annelie, Bella (Judith), Pauline. If I have forgotten anyone I deeply appologize. Wasn't my meaning at all. I have just not had enough energy to take care of this. I truly and dearly appreciate each and every one of them.
All of those wonderful people can be find both at my sidebar and in the follower list. Then you should pass those forward and this is a terrible hard thing to do. I find so much inspiration from so many different people and blogs of all kind. I do this simple for me and pass them forward to the ones who feel that they have deserved an award or two. But some of the people who do inspire me a lot are of corse Annelie who makes the most amazing creations without stamps. Wish I could too. Bella who makes so many cards every week and they are all of high standard. Just wonderful work. Pauline the sweetest aussie around. It's a joy to see your creations and read what you write.

Other people and challenge blogs that gives me the inspiration is Lia the sweets one around, Kim Piggot who always takes the time to comment just as Claudia Rosa. Donna at Bearly Mine who believe in what I do, MiaMaria who gives me inspiration for the very few LO's I do every now and then and that you never get to see. There is also the sweet Nannieflash, and Doreen, Tiggerastic etc. I could go on forever! Then there is all the gals over at the Passion for Promarkers who always do their best to give comments to your creation, every single one of them. If it wasn't for that blog I would never have gone one with my card making. It's their "fault" with Denise in lead that I keept going with the promarkers and now have them all and then some more. So to all of you and all the other lovely people out there, a big thank you!

Then there is the 8 facts about me, some of the awards had three or five. With 8 I cover it all at once I hope, cause I am not sure I will put more of these up here. It's way too hard to chose just a few to award. :)

Facts about MI:
* Cat crazy but only have two at the moment. Had four at the most. Cats are also one of the reason why I started to make my cards. I give most of my cards to a local cat shelter so that they can sell them.
* I spend way too much time colouring my images.
* The best part about making cards is the colouring. Would be the happiest gal on earth if someone else put the cards together. :) OK, maybe not but I do prefere to colour to anything else.
* I got way too many pen pals all over the world. A huge passion of mine to write "snail letters" Nothing like getting a handwritten letter in the mail box
* Loves winter time! Yuukkki isn't it? Someone who actually loves the white mess.
* My two favourite countries in the world Scotland and Australia. Would love to go to both place (Scotland again)
* I truly hate flying! How do I get to Australia without an Aircraft?LoL
* Will never stop crafting as I believe my hands will be destroyed of rheumatism if I do. (Had this illness since I was three)

OK, this is a little about me. I don't think anyone have the energy to read all of this but, thanks once again to all of you who thought of me when it came to these awards.

Love n hugs,
Marie

Just for the fun of it

I took some time and made a card for a friend who has his birthday coming up very soon and combined it with a few challenges. On top of all this fun I also got to use one of the brand new images from The Paper Shelter. It can't get any better than that.

This little fellow is coloured with my promarkers all in "Coffee and cream" as the theme says over at Passion For Promarkers this week. I followed the lovely sketch from "Do it with digis". I love it when I get served with a sketch when my head is empty and can't come up with any idears at all. This was just what I needed. Thank you for that!

The image is called "Cockatoo Rules " and my designer papers for this card is from Bearly Mine Designs once again. This time they are a mix and match from the Extreme III CD and from a set called For the boys. Use the link in the sidebar to take a look at Donnas lovely designs.

So this is all from me for today. Now it's cartoon time with the oldest. Hope it's not the SpounchBob Squarepants or what ever he is called.

Love n hugs
Marie

Challenges I'm entering with is little birdie card:
Delightful Challenges - Animals (hope a bird counts as animal)
Paper Crafting Journey - Anything goes
Do you stack up? - Dots

WooHoo! The day has finally come!

It is finally the BIG day! We are lounching the new challenge blog over at The PaperShelter! We are starting up with a nice and simple challenge for you all:

Buttons and Bows

That means we want to see both of them somewere in your creation and you must use a PaperShelter image to be in the price draw. The store is filled with wonderfully cute, fun and sweet images. There is something for everyone. The price you can win? Oh, it's a wopping $15 gift certificate to use in The PaperShelter store.

For this challenge I have used the ooohh so cute "Toy Train". Fell in love with it from the first second I layed my eye on it. However being such a long image I really had to get out of my comfort zone to get the card together. I used designer papers from Sandy Lion, the Thomas the Tank engine collection. If you look real careful at the red papers you should see some trains there. I didn't have any lucky when it came to the weather and taking my photo so it's a bit hard to see, but it's there. I used buttons for the wheels of my little train and the cute little elephant needed a little bow around his neck I thought. In the corners I've used CardCraft cardcandy in dark blue.

With this said you really should pop over to the challenge blog and see what my fellow team gals and guy have created to get your creativity going! There is some stunning samples there. The challenge will be weekly and I do hope to see you there! There is some great challenges waiting to come up as well, but we start up with this one buttons and bows. Come on and join the fun now!

Take care and love n hugs for you all!
Marie

It's birthday time at For Fun this week!

Hi everyone! I am back again with another card for the For Fun Challenges. It is already one year since Helen started this challenge blog and this week it's time for birthday celebration, with that in mind it's not strange that the theme for this weeks challenge is

Birthdays!

This time we are sponsored by the lovely Michell Perkett Studio. Please do visit this lovely digi store. There is some wonderful digis.

Michelle Perkett is an artist who believes the world can always us more kindness, innocence, inspiration and color. She lives in beautiful Southern California, and has an incredibly unique, and positively happy style in her art. She has a magical store filled with angels, fairies, mermaids, and wonderful images, bound to delight you!

Michelle’s first love is her art. She has run her art business for over 6 years and is spreading worlwide with Etsy and devoted crafters. She tries to live the way she creates her art; with love, happiness, peace, harmony, joy, friendship, kindness and inspiration and hopes that she inspires other people to do the same.

Lately I've started to use more and more digi stamps and that means more and more promarker and copic colouring. For me that comes with a "cleaner" style of my cards as well. This one is no exception but with some extra swirls and punches it becomes a little more. The digi stamp I've used this time is called "Bella the Baker". I've added some glossy accent to all of the flowers for some nice shine. Coloured with promarkers she is. The flowers are made with a die from Marianne's and so is the swirls. A heart boarder punch from MS is used along with some ribbon that was a free bee from a Magazine some year ago. The designer paper is from my friend Donna's store, and I actually think this is one of here freebees. Not certainly sure as I have a smaller mountain of her papers printed on my desk. Easy acces you know. :)

So I do hope you will join in with our birthday celebrations over at For Fun this week. We would love to see you there! And with this, love n hugs for you all,

Marie

I am also entering this card to the Challenge over at Michell Perketts challenge blog The theme is open, all you have to do is to use a MPS image on your creation!

Time for a new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges!

WoW! What a lovely bunch of entries we had our last challenge! You people rock! I do hope you all join us again as we are setting off our fourth challenge over at Bearly Mine! Time goes so fast when you have fun, don't it? This time we have a new lovely theme for you all:

RIBBON AND PEARLS!

Nice and easy isn't it? You know that you don't have to use Bearly Mine DP don't you? But we all love to see what you do with Donnas lovely DP. She also have some freebees over at the shop blog that you can try out if you want too. Did I tell you that I really do love Donnas DP? And there is a bunch of them that is new as well. There is so many great designs that I don't know were to start when it comes to using them.

This week we are sponsered by these lovely companies. Please pay them a visit. If it wasn't for them we could never have this many lovely prices each time for you all.

Emma's store is offering this lovely paper pad as a price this time

Two digi sets of winners choice

5 Digi's of the winner's choice

Offering a selection of cut lengths of ribbon, pins, dewdrops

Isn't these prices really fab? I for sure would love the chance to win some of it, if not all! :) So being sponsored by the lovely Kenny K this time I've used TroubleMaker from their first glam gang girls. Being an ice cream lover, how could I chose another digi than this? She is coloured with my promarkers and combined with papers from three different digi sets of Donnas. The lovely flowers are from one of the new kits called Spring blossoms, the blue one is from the Just plains and the green one from For the boys.

The wall is made with a stamp from Magnolia. I just thought that the gal needed something to lean on. Punch from MS is used on the top of the green one, then decorated with ribbons from Wild Orchid Crafts and my flowers are from them as well. My wonderful butterflies are from Altheas Mix. Pearls from Kaiser Kraft I believe.

So my friends make sure to pop over to the Bearly Mine Challenge blog and check out what the rest of the DT has created for your inspiration and who won the last challenge?

Thanks for getting this far in my post today. They seem to be fewer and longer each week. LoL With this I leave you with love n hugs,

Marie

A Bildmålarna card

Since I first saw the new stamps from Bildmålarnas January relise I wanted them all. However after a long talk with myself I decided to settle with only three of them and this is the first I've coloured up. It's called "My flower". I know that Bunny Zoe has those stamps for the once who are intrested in them. The line is called "Little Winged Friends". So adorable!

For this card I have used this little angel friend called "My Flower". She is coloured with my promarkers on a sheet of album paper. Works like a treat when it's not too much "ink" in the markers. I have paired her up with some of the wonderful designer papers from Bearly Mine Designs. The one with the flowers are from the Extreme CD volume III. Lots of goodies there. I have also added a satin ribbon and some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have added some stickles on the flowers both on the stamped ones and the "real" ones.

A bunch of challenges have I found that I want to enter this card into as well.
  • First of all Passion for Promarkers where the theme is an inspirational photo. Hope it shows I went for the colours. :)
I guess that's about it. With this I leave you with love n hugs, ohh and don't forget you still have a little time to use the code to buy Donnas lovely papers with 15% off. The code is KK02. The offer last til 7 th of February.

Another Paper Shelter Card

In the middle of all colds and flues have I now finally managed to get a card together. So much easier when the oldest is home being sick. Then we cuddle down in the sofa with lots of pillows and blanchets watching cartoons and I can do my cards at the same time. At least the colouring part. :)

For this card I have used the fun image "Crocodile Love" from the Paper Shelter. They are coloured with a mix of promarkers and copics. Have also used a white gel pen on the thooth to make them sparkling white. The designer papers are from DCWV digi download, "madly in love". Flowers are from Prima, brads from Joanna Sheen, half pearls BunnyZoe as well as the webb ribbon. Cardwork Card Candy in the corners and leafs punshed with a couple of woodware punches. The pearl hearts are from Wild Orchid Craft. Card stock is from Bazzil.
Now time to dive in to bed again. Being around two sick boys has made me sick, again as well. My back is still killing me as well. Not a very good week this I would say, but it can only get better!

I enter my card to the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenges - Anything goes + flowers
The sisterhood of Crafters - Anything goes
Do it with digis - Valentines
Simon Says Stamp - Love is in the air
Bunny Zoe - Love is in the air
Love n hugs

At the For Fun Challenge this week...

... come spring?! Come Winter?! What do you think you'll experience the coming 6 weeks or so? Spring or winter? Living in Sweden, even being in the Southern part makes me believe in winter for at least 6 more week. May be it's just wishful thinking as I do feel so much better in the cold lovely weather. Sunshine and a few degress below zero and I a happy gal! So in other words

MAKE A CARD WITH A THEME OF THE SEASON YOU THINK WE'LL HAVE THE COMING WEEKS. SPRING OR WINTER ?
So for this card I have used a very special little doggie that is designed just for this challenge. He is so cute! He is coloured with my dear old promarkers. The Designer paper is from Bearly Mine Designs. You find a link in my sidebar. It's from the digiset Winter's Swirl. Great winter papers in there. I have not used much more decorations for the card as the papers are great just the way they are. I made a couple of golden snowflakes and stars and that's. (They are made with Spellbinder dies). Clean and simple I guess.

Please be sure to visit our sponsor this week as well. They will give this great price to one lucky winner!

25 gift certificate

By the way, I do have a code for you to use if you feel like buying any of Donna's lovely digi sets the coming week. The offer last til February 7th. It couldn't be better could it? New digi sets and 15% off! So here is the code for my blog KK02. You have to remember to write down the code in your ordering mail to get the 15% off.

Now time for a shower to warm up my back a bit then story time for the boys.
