We are doing Christmas at For Fun this week.

Afternoon everyone! Today we have a real challenge for you over at For Fun challenges, but we also have the most amazing prize up for grabs. Some great goodies from Rick St Dennis. We do want you to make a

Christmas Card or Christmas project!

I know I kind of had a hard time getting into the spirit as well but then the weather helped me out. We had some snow. Suddenly I could hear jingle bells jingel bells in my head. Helped a lot. :) However if you don't have any snow coming your way the coming week you should go and check out what my teamies has been up to. If you can't find any inspiration there, you probably should sit this one out. :)

We are sponsored this week by the lovely Rick St. Dennis. If you have not seen his drawings you should pop along his store right away. There is so many lovely digis for you over there. They are all filled with details and can keep you busy for a while but what a treat.

I have used the MistletoeSanta 001 coloured this happy looking fellow with my markers. Combined him with some DP from Panduro, two different pads from last Christmas. Flowers and pearls from Wild Orchid Craft. Stickles in the colour of Golden Rod. Distress ink walnut stain on the edges. A swirl stamp from Whiff of Joy in the corners. The skech is made by Gro from the Passion For Promarker Challenges. I kind of missed the deadline here, didn't I? Only with a few weeks or so. :) But it was great fun to work with and perfect for this theme.

Till next time, love n hugs for you all

The PaperShelter Challenge is on the goe again.

Hello out there in the cyber world! How are you doing today? Ready for a new challenge over at The PaperShelter? I thought so, this time we are doing the theme of

Get inspired by...

We want you to show us cards that you have made being inspired by another card maker out there. There is so many super talented people out there that makes the most amazing cards. I had a real hard time chosing who I would get inspired by. In the end I ended up with the super talented lady Bev Rochester. I adore her layouts as they are simple and stunning at the same time because of how she decorates her cards. I hope I have managed to do the same here with my card for today.

I have used the Victorian Lady for this card. I have had her ready to go for a long time, made that during my brown period. (Not sure that is over yet). It just happened that the card I chose for my inspiration is brown as well. She is coloured with my promarkers and paired up with Bearly Mine Design papers from one of Donnas new collections "Summer's lace Dream". Perfect look for this lady. And of corse the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts, and so is the metal corners and the big hat pin. The smaller ones are from Skaparlusten. The lace is from WOC and the brown ribbon from my dear friend Annelie. Thanks sweetie!

Now it's your turn to create something stunning for us over at the challenge blog to see. Remember to use a TPS image and you are in the draw for the voucher of $15 to spend in the store. Wouldn't that be great to win that? There is also some digi papers over in the store now. Make sure to check them out! See you over at the PaperShelter!

Until next time,  love and hugs for you all

It's sketch time at Bearly Mine Challenges

Morning to each and everyone of you! I'm back again with a new fresh card for the Bearly Mine Challenges. It's my turn to host and I would really love to see what you do with my

Sketch

Yepp! That's right! We are going sketchy for the next couple of weeks. My first one ever, please do show me what you make of it. I am so looking forward to that. Here is what the sketch looks like.

I have a bunch of new Magnolia stamps that I thought I should use before it's too late this spring. So both the sentiment and the main motive are from Magnolia. Coloured with Aquamarkers on water colouring paper Canson 300 gr. The "spotty" stamp is from Stempelglade. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid craft and pearls from Bunny Zoe. The DP used this time is from "Summer's Lace Dream",  "Spring Delights" and "Just Plain".
(Once again I had to take the photo in the eve, got some sunshine shadows from the windows, just think spring heat and the picture feels fine. :)  )

The sponsors this week is
2 Digi sets of the winner's choice
 £10 Gift Certificate

$20 Gift Certificate

Fantastic Ribbons - bag of buttons

So with this said I look forward to see your creations over at the Bearly Mine Challenges. And a big thank you to each and every one who leaves a little message here on my little corner of the blogging world.

Love n hugs for you all

Just for the fun of it again

It was a long time since I managed to sit down and just make a card for fun. This one has been on the goe for quite some time now. The image is from Stampavie and the Sarah Kay line. It's from last year I believe. It's coloured with different shades of sepia made with my aquamarkers. Love those little markers. They are so easy to bring a long when you are going somewere. The DP are from Bearly Mine, the brown with lace is called "The paper lace". The one with the dragonflies are from Springflight, the Dotty/spotty one is from one for the other spring collections. Lots of punched leafs and flowers under the roses from WOC. Pearls from BunnyZoe's.

Time to get the little monsters to bed. Everything gets so strange when the clock is suddenly one more hour than you thought. Instead of 1900 it's now 2000. Hate this day, but on the other hand I really love it when we get our missing hour back! :)

With this I leave you with love n hugs

Flowers and sentiments at For Fun this week.

A big hello to all and every one of you. I hope you're doing fine and are up to a new challenge again. It's time for a very nice and simple challenge this week. We would love to see

Flowers and sentiments

We would like to see both a bunch of flowers and a nice sentiment. Long or short, doesn't matter as long as it's there. We are sponsored this week by the lovely people over at Digi Doodles. All in the team has used flower digis from the store. They are really a joy to work with. On top of that, one lucky winner will recieve a vocher worth $10 to spend in the store. Isn't that great?

This time I went for an easel card as I wanted to show of those beautiful roses. I totally adore them. I have colored them in very pale shades of pink and green. It was one of those times when everything came together without having to think about it. I love it when that happens. LoL The DP are from Panduro's Tilda range. Pearls are from BunnyZoe and the lace from Wild Orchid Crafts. My pearl brads are from Papermania. My lovely sentiment comes from "Prickig Form", if I'm not totally lost...
So I really do hope that you come and play along with us this time. It would be wonderful if you could join us this week. And with this I leave you with

Love n hugs

The PaperShelter challenge for this week

Hi and good morning! It's mid week and once again time for the double posting on my blog. It is strange to have to challenges going up the same day. Anyway, the theme for this weeks challenge over at TPS Challenges is fun and brightful, we are all doing
Flower Power
Fun isn't it? I knew right away what image I wanted to use for this one. She is cute in a kind of neardy way and fits perfect to this challenge, meet the "Hippie Girl". Wonderful to colour and for this fun theme it was no problem to get a card together. Have kind of had some mojo problems the last couple of weeks. Mostly because I have so much problems with my neck and shoulders. Just hope that it won't last forever. -smile-

Anyway, back to my card. When I think hippie and flowerpower. Hade made stuff comes to mind, scarfs, crocheted stuff, hand made clothes that are "blinged up" in all sort of ways. So with this in mind I took out some yarn and crocheted a few flowers for my card and combinded them with flowers from Prima and Pentaloo. Also a kind of funky, bright coloured bunch of DP from one of the first scrap kits I ever bought. Never got used to any page in my albums as I got very mad when the papers was folded. No one would buy a folded paper. Nutsy people, I left that club very quickly. LoL. But I am glad I hung on to those papers. Perfect for this card! I have followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers this week. I do hope I remember to link it up when I get back home... -smile-

So now it would be great to see some of your flower power creations. You might even have a different approach to the theme than I have. I would love to find out! Don't forget to use one of the superduper cheep images from the PaperShelter to have a shot on the voucher of $15 that you can spend in the store. Now there is even some digi paper sets up for sale. They do look really lovely.

Till later on today I leave you with love n hugs

Wendsday's challenge no 2, now we're going to The PaperShelter

Hi and hello! I'm back again for the second time today. Wendsdays are a bit nuts here at my blog as I have to challenges going up the same day. Oh well, you are clever people and can scroll up and down in all this mess. :)

For this challenge we ask you to create something that has to do with this theme
Spring fling!
Not so hard is it? Over at the Papershelter there is a whole bunch of lovely images you can get you hands on for a great price. Using the PaperShelter images gives you the chance to win a great price!

If I have a card? - Of corse I do! I have been a little bit naugthy and used both a digi image from the PaperShelter and a Magnolia back ground stamp. I thought the little bee needed something to look at, and those flowers is just what he needs for his honey isn't it? I put the back ground in a little frame made in gingham papers from Pink Pretticoat, the others are from Bearly Mine Designs. You find the link in my side bar. I cut the little guy out and then gave him some new antennas made with pearl string and some beads. I have also bended his wings a little bit for some more dimension. My little winged friend is coloured with copic markers this time. I have used a few pearls from BunnyZoes and a butterfly from Altheas Mix for decorations. Less is more this time.

Now it's time for me to sit down and try to create something for coming challenges and maybe something just for the fun of it. I wish you all a wonderful afternoon and a big thank you for visiting me today. I'm looking forward to see you at the challenge blog.

With love and hugs

Marie

And a few challenges to go with the card
Papertake Weekly - Three of something (I've got three designer papers here. Green one in the back, hearts and flowers and gingham + groups with three pearls in them)
Karen's Doodles - Spring (Don't need to explain do I?)
Scrap, stamp and Doodle Saturdays - Spring has sprung

Wendsday again and time it's time For Fun Challenges

Good morning to you all! It's time for a new challenge over at For Fun again. This week we are looking for

Saint Patrick's day or monocrome green

Something to work with isn't it? We don't have the Saint Patrick's day here in Sweden so it was time for me to go green. We are sponsored this week by the lovely Meljen. I have used the image "A boy and his wagon". A darling image that I have had on the computer for quite a while now without doing anything with it. I could easaly be one of my little guys. As you can see I have cheeted a tiny bit and used skin colours. I did colour him green all the way at first, but this little cutie really scared me then. Skin colours it had to be. :) This is really very plain and simple. I prefere that when it's for a younger child.

The DP are from Bearly Mine once again. I don't know how to use other papers these days. All bought ones in pads is just stacked up around my crafting room. One day they will come to use as well. These two ones are from the brand new "Spring and summer Stripes" (Donna, I do hope it will come some stripes for winter and fall as well ;) ). The one with the flowers is from "Spring Blossoms". I have only used a few brads for decorations for this kiddie card.
You find the sweet digi images of Meljen over here at Whimsy Stamps. Make sure to pay them a visit.

This is one of two posts from me today, so make sure to pop back later for my The PaperShelter Challenges card. With this I leave you with love and hugs

Marie

And a few challenges
I love promarkers - Men's card (Mine for a little younger man.)
The crazy Challenge - Brads or eyelets (Brads on this one)

Bearly Mine is thinking of Mothers this time!

Morning to you all! What an amazing turn out we had on our birthday challenge! Thank you to all of you who joined us in the fun. It was wonderful to see all of your wonderful creations.

This time we have a theme of
Mother's Day

This time we have these wonderful sponsors for you all. Be sure to pay them a visit as they make it possible for us to have such wonderful prices for you each week.

5 Digi's of the Winner's choise

Two digi sets of winners choise

This wonderful stamp from Bildmålarna

And then we have my little card for this times challenge. As I should when it's a Bearly Mine challenge I have used some of Donna's wonderful papers. The upper one comes from the set "Spring Mist" and the botton one is from the "Spring Delights" set. The image I have used is from the wonderful BildmÃ¥larna. She is one of the lovely Mimosas from the latest club kit. I thought she would look perfect for this theme. A little cup of coffee or tea for mum in the bed at Mother's day. Wouldn't that be something? She is coloured with distress inks. Most of the flowers are from Wild orchid craft. The orange roses I made with a die from Marianne Creatables. Kind of drowned the flowers in stickles. Have also used a border punch from MS and one punch from woodware.

Be sure to pop over to the Challenge blog and join us in the fun. My DT sisters have made some awsome creations for you this week.

See you again tomorrow when it's time for new challenges over at For Fun and at The PaperShelter.

Love n hugs
Marie

And a little PS: Donna has been busy creating new digisets again. Do pop over to here little corner of the blogging world to find out what she has been up to.

It's time for another PaperShelter Challenge and then some...

I better warn you right from the start. This will be a long post. Two cards, two challenges with the PaperShelter as the common thing in between.

First of all a big thank you to all of you who joined us this past week for our challenge. Lots of stunning creations from you all. It's so nice to look at them and be inspired by them. This week we are looking for

St Patrick themed cards, and/or cards with charms.

Since I don't have a clue of how a St Patrick day is celebrated, I had to go for the charm part this time. There is so many holidays we don't celebrate here in Sweden. This little tiny country is not much for celebrations. :)  So my charms comes from Pagoni here in Sweden. Lovely place to find charms at, to a good price. The image I have used is "Memory Chest", filled with stuff from your childhood maybe? It's coloured with my promarkers. Used one in gold for the corners and the lock. My DP are from Donna's Shabby Vintage if I remember right... Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts just as usual. Half pearls comes from BunnyZoe.
So now it's your turn to pop over and see what my fellow DT friends has come up with. I'm am sure you will get inspired of what they have done.

Then we have another card. This card is made for the challenge over at Operation Write Home where the challenge is do make something "Polka Dot". The PaperShelter is sponsoring this challenge and we in the team was asked if we could make up a couple of cards to inpire you all. This is what I did.

I used the head of the "in the 20's" gal and coloured her up in sepia/brown colours. Put her together with some golden and brown cardstock and some more of the wonderful papers from Bearly Mine. This time from the collections "Dotty" and "Shabby Vintage". So with this I leave you to make a card both for The PaperShelter and for the Operation Write Home as well. Can't wait to see what you creat with this fun theme. What is wrong with me I only tend to make brown cards at the moment. Fourth time in a very short period. Have to find another lovely colour I believe. :)

And til next time, love n hugs for you all

Marie

A new challenge over at For Fun again...

... and this week we are all inspired by spring! Sun, flowers, how about some heat? Just bring it on-we all would be very happy! We are sponsored this week by the lovely Sweet and Sassy designs. Be sure to pop over to them and look at their store. Just click the image.

For my card this week, I have used this little sweetheart for my main focos on the card. DP was ready to go as I should have used them to another card, but changed my minde when almost done. All papers are from Bearly Mine Design. My flowers are made with retro punches in two different sizes, and a McGill punch. Have also used a clear spica pen to add some sparkel on the flower. The other flowers has taken a shower in tattered angel spray in the old lace colour.

Be sure to check back later for another post today as it also time for The PaperShelter Challenges.

Love n hugs
Marie

A birthday card for a little gal

Good evening everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend with lots of fun. (Read crafting). My card for today is made for a little friend of my oldest son. He was at her birthday party today. She turned four. Now he is tired and watches so cartoons while the other one is runing like crazy. He had a good nap after we baked some cookies for his upcoming birthday. He loves to cook and bake so it was a good substitute for a party. He will probably be a super chef when he grows up. LoL

For this card I have used a digi from CC designs. All in pink of corse. Designer papers from Dovecraft this time. Long time since thoses were used. I have gone digi so much lately that I forget about my other stash. I kind of croped the girls ballon and used it to spell the name of the little friend. Some bakers twine to give the ballons some stings to be hold on at.

Now it's time to read bedtime stories. I'm guessing Bob the Builder will be the choise of this evening. Daddy bought him a book about that little guy yesterday.

For all of you, love n hugs
Marie

Challenges I enter this card in

This weeks PaperShelter Challenge

Wendsday again and it's time for another challenge over at the PaperShelter. I think we might have given you a little too hard challenge last week with our red creations. This week however is a really nice and simple one.
Scrap it!

Use your left over pieces of DP and CS and make a card from that. Sure you don't have to use scraps to create your base but the rest, left overs please. :) If you are anything like me, you have a big bin filled with left overs that very seldom get used. It's time for that now. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Remember to use a PaperShelter image to have a shot in the price draw. You know you can win $15 vocher to spent on the wonderful images in the store. There is some sweet looking Easter images added to the store just last week.

For my card I have used the super cool dude "Cockatoo is watching you". I am so in love with these amazing birdies. They are just perfect for a fun, cute male birthday card. Just great and so fun to colour. I never knew I was a bird person. LoL. My little dude is coloured with promarkers in lots of brow, orange and yellow shades. He looks very sharp in his colours, but that is just my terrible photo editing. He is just a tiny bit les shard IRL. ;)

My DP are from Bearly Mine from a few different collections I think... It was a while since these was printed...So you see, left overs and no clue from what set. I have used a little bunch of dew drops for embellishments and a sketch that kind of also is a left over from a challenge I had planed to enter. I just can't remember which one. I think I need a rest. LoL

Please do join us over at the challenges at The PaperShelter this week. We really want to see what you can come up with. So this being my second entry for today, if intrested the For Fun Challenge is fond below this one...

Love n hugs for you all,
Marie

And a few challenges for the card.
TTT - Favourites (use anything favourite, mine colouring with my promarkers and digi stamps)
PaperPlay Time - Anything digi
Dream Valley Challenges - Anything goes

At just For Fun this week...

...Mardi Gras is coming. OK, this was really hard. I had no clue about that event. Thanks to Google I could learn a bit about it. (We don't have many of these happenings here in Sweden.) And it looks like if you don't have a costume on you should wear the colours

Green, purple and gold

And that is what you are supposed to use on your cards for the challenge over at For Fun this week. Had a little trouble finding an image for these colors and had to think long and hard about it. Then I thought of this little uninked Tilda from Magnolia that I have had in my stash forever, and she do look fabby in Mardi Gras colors if I might say so. :) I have colored her with Aquamarkers from Letraset and some twinkling H2O's for the golden details. It might not show very well in the photo but it's a nice golden glitter to it IRL.

This time it's DP from Papermania that is used. Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and half pearls from BunnyZoe. Some stickles is used on the flowers and butterflies as well. Ok, I think I leave you with that. As usual one of my kids is sick, so it will be a day spent infront of the TV and tons of cartoons and may be a book or two.

Take care and love n hugs for you all,
Marie

Bearly Mine Challenge time again!

Morning to you all! Hope you are well rested as this is another mega post. :) It's time for a new challenge over at Bearly Mine again. A very nice and simple one, all you have to do is to make a

Birthday card!

Simple isn't it? This week we are sponsored by the lovely people over at Tickled Pink and we have had a whole lots of wonderful images to chose from. I went for this lovely looking 20's Evie. Such a joy to colour so I probably have to get me some more of those sweeties. She is paired up with Donna's "Simply Dots" and a wonderful spring paper from the collection "Spring Blossoms".

My flowers are from Wild orchid craft, the calender stamp hardly showing up is from LOTV. The key comes from a local flower shop, and the ribbon from Panduro. Pearls from Bunny Zoe. Everything just as normal. :)

Oh, I almost forgot our sponsors this week

Tickled Pink - One rubber stamp or two digis of winners choise
(Sorry, can't get the picture to look like it should)

Bearly Mine - Two digisets of winners choise

Go create - Three rectangular sets worth 13,99 each

Wild Orchid Craft - flowers and lace in a mixed collection

Speaking of normal, Donna has kept her self very busy and created some more digi sets for us all to use. And these stunners are on sale for a little while. Maybe it's time to head over to the Digi Shop and get some new never ending stash? They are yummy the new designs.
So hope to see you over at the challenge blog. I can't wait to see what you create.

Love n hugs
Marie
