Christmas tags

Hello and happy Friday to you all. This time I should have been posting a fabby Christmas tag or two but my joints refuses to work with me at the moment. Badly shaking and not in control when it comes to holding pens or markers or getting anything down on a paper if it's not in the size of a wall.

My teamies have however been busy and made some stunning creations so pop on over to the Winter Wonderland and check it out for yourself. Maybe you want to join our challenge as well?

This week we are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments who are offering the winner  three digis. How nice isn't that?

I am sorry that I have no creation today. Maybe I will be able to make one later on but for now I am giving up on this after having tried for hours.

Cute and sentiment

Good afternoon every one. A bit late getting up my AUD sentiment post today. Painful back and tons of things going on the last few weeks at school for the kids. I need more hours in the day. LoL

Anyway, the theme for yet another week over at AUD sentiments is CUTE + A SENTIMENT. Shouldn't be too hard should it?

Sponsor info from AUD Sentiments
Our teammates are using images provided by Heather of Lacy Sunshine Stamps who is pairing up with us to sponsor this challenge.  Heather is also generously offering a prize for the winner of this challenge!!  If you see an image you like or if you want to shop around in her catalog of images, you can click on the link to go directly to her shop!  You won't be disappointed!

And finally my card. The image is called Emily Rainshowers which is very suitable today. Typical when there is a class party out doors for my oldest. And the paper pads from LOTV is used once again. I love the pastel colours in these pads Up up and away and Pastel dreams. I did even use a few of my copics to colour this image in, I normally only use the Letraset markers, but the pinks of copics is lighter and more pink without the yellow tones.

I have used the new sketch from Papertake weekly but exchanged the rectangular shapes for round ones and a bit broader "belt". Lots of flowers and pearls. A doily that I think I bought from Panduro, letter stickers panduro. A new Magnolia die from Moa Pyssel with shape of old camera film. Love that. I also got the ribbon from Moa pyssel when I bought the die, thank you!

Well time to pick up the kids and some meds so we can rest before the party starts.

Take care for now and see you soon again!

Come fly with me

A new fun challenge is starting over at Passion for Promarkers today. The theme is set to "Come fly with me". That means you need to use an image with something that can fly. Hosting this party is, well me! :) Can't wait to see what fabby coloured images you have out there. As always don't forget to colour with a Letraset product.

Our generous sponsor this week is A Day for Daisies and they are offering one lucky winner a prize of a $12.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

logo.com
Well then, my card. I have used one of my favourite images from the Paper Shelter this week. It's called the aviator. Of course it's coloured with my Letraset markers. And yes, once again have I used the paper pad from LOTV called up up and away. Found it kind of fitting for my theme.

I have kept the design simple and easy for one reason, maybe two. Cards for boys = not as many decorations and besides everything that could go wrong with this card have done it. I ended up with something far far away from what I had planned. I have used a Fiskars border punch, some buttons, a few die cut clouds, letter stickers and I have also used my grandpas old dynamo writter from the 70th. It's still working perfectly. I will try to fix the photo later on. I need to recharge the battery and maybe get some better light.

Anyway! I DO hope that you will come and join us in our flying theme this week. I for sure can't wait to see what you come up with and remember that it has to be something on the IMAGE that can fly, not dp's or decorations.

Roses

Morning and hello! Welcome back to my little corner of the world. Today it's Wednesday and time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter. This weeks theme is ROSES and guess if my teamies have been doing some smashing job?

My card is really simple and this week without any image. Instead I used one of Veronica's smashing designer papers from the Vintage Flourishes paper pack. I had a card made that I had to post early with everything done for this challenge and then I got sick so this is what I ended up with instead. However sometimes it can be good to have to work outside your comfort zone a bit. This is a very simple design that is made up with just one dp, some lace and a few layers with card stock.

I did also had a good look at what I have in my draws that is all over the place at the moment. Still working on that office space of mine. Getting closer now and then the big task of getting everything in it's places...

Anyway, I found some of the metall corners that was used all the time a few years ago. Used up a few of those. A piece of lace from my teamie Gail. And as the theme is roses I kept going with that theme and used tons of flowers and rosebuds. Some stickles; Frosted lace is also used on the flowers and a piece of really thin pearl string around the largest rose. The letter stickers are from Prima. I have a whole bunch of them laying around as I have not dared to use them. However, things with glue on the back should not be saved as they don't work very well in the end. So keep using your stash! I don't know how many times I have tried to fix my sentiment which says "congrats" in Swedish.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

As always we have a gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with any TPS product. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three (3) digis of your choice. There is tons of fabby images to choose between and you are sure to find something that will suit you.

6 years with Passion for Promarkers!

Hipp hipp hurra! As we would have said in Sweden. Don't tell anyone but my all time favourite challenge to enter is turning 6 years today. And for a few years now I have not been able to join the challenges as I am a part of the fantastic team that just keeps getting better and better! Denise and Gina congrats to your fabby challenge blog!

As we're celebrating our birthday we're having just a few extra prizes that can be won. But to have a chance on those you need to colour with any Letraset medium. And for this challenge only, you may only enter 3 times with your newly made creations. No back linking! Our theme then, wonder what that could be? Theme of the week is set to "NO SENTIMENT", so nice and easy don't you think?

Now you have to scroll down a bit to find my creation. First comes the list of all the prizes you have a chance to win playing with us this week.  :)

For my card have I used Michel R design papers. I love the vintage feel to them and this pack is called Shabby Flowers. Nice pink and aqua colours in this little set. I matched the designer papers with a lovely image from Power Poppy. It's a lovely store with wonderful floral images. This one is called flowering branches. It's such peacefull image that makes me remember my grand dad who always was out in his garden with or without his cat. Trimming the trees, picking raspberries or potatoes and so on.

I have followed a sketch from CLP that closed a few years back, but I still love the sketches and this one have I used quite many times by now. I am sorry that the colours of the picture looks a bit dull, we have the strangest weather here, called spring weather. :) Snow, rain, sun, heat all at once. I used a piece of double pearl string instead of lace this time. Just as someone had done on one of the creations over at CLP I used some pearls in the middle of the banner. Love the look of that. Curled up the second layer of the dp to show a bit of the stunning flower cluster that is on that dp. A few more pearls, and a few flowers to that. As always a mix of flowers from WOC and I am Roses. There is also a little charm up in the right corner. It made it look like a bouquet of flowers.

Well my friends. Time to come and join us. My teamies have done a fabby work as always and this time both teams are joining in to inspire YOU! Come on over to the PFP blog and have a look for yourself.

Button it up!

Morning and hello! Marie from the sick bed here but at least feeling a little bit better today. Still painful ears and a bit dizzy but better than yesterday.

Today we have a new challenge up for you over at the Winter Wonderland challenges. A nice and easy one as our theme is set to "Button it up!" That means we want to see at least one button on your creation. It's a nice and easy theme in my mind. I took the chance to use up some of all the buttons I have laying around. A few years ago did I get  tons of buttons from a lady and it doesn't show that I have used any of them.

I or rather we, my boys and me have made cards using the same design a few years back. A classic in reuse. The cards are not perfect, a bit crocked and so on, but which tree is that? Only in the Disney movies... :)

Here comes a few examples of tree building with buttons in different shapes.

Middle sized one 13,5 * 13,5 cm

Mini version with mini buttons 10 * 10 com

Large 14,8 * 14,8 cm middle sized buttons

Our sponsor this week is offering a gift voucher worth £10 to one lucky winner. A great prize don't you think?

I hope you will come and join us over at the Winter wonderland challenges this week. My teamies have done a brilliant job with the challenge and you are spoiled for inspiration over at our challenge blog.

Sketch + sentiment

Hello and good morning to you! A short post to tell you that we in the B-team over at AUD sentiments is providing some new inspiration for this wonderful sketch challenge that last one more week. Do come and join us. The sketch is nice and easy to use and your card will fit into many more challenges.

I almost missed on this challenge as the ear infection I got is just getting worse. It hurts like, well a lot. The doctor say I am to old for this but my body hasn't understod that so far. So I think I go with me still being  young. :) That's the good part with it all and the only good part.

Anyway, I have used the Snow queen from Sassy Studio designs and since we were two sick ones in the family yesterday it isn't my greatest creation, but it's ok. It's better IRL the photo got a bit blured up as well as my head. The sentiment is from LOTV and the dps are from Dove Craft I think, modern Christmas maybe? Two pearl swirls for a nice and easy decoration and some silver glitter card as backdrop to the dps. She doesn't look so heavy on the make up IRL, it's my photo editing that has gone banans again. Must find some time to learn about that.

http://buysassystudiodesigns.blogspot.no/I want to mention again how much we appreciate Sassy Studio Designs for sponsoring this challenge!  They have provided images for our DT to showcase for your inspiration and they are providing the prize for this challenge's winner.

Well, I leave you with this and go back to bed. Somehow I need to take myself and my hurting ears to the soccer field later on to see one of the kids play a tournament today as well. I hope I can see at least one or two games before heading back for bed. Have no clue on how to survive that but it needs to be done. I for sure know I'm alive, at least for now. :)

Blue and purple

Morning and hello! Hope you're enjoying your week so far and hope the rest will be a blast too. I am doing the best with what I got how to speak as I have a few fingers that has gone on vacation as it seems. I can't feel them, they are numb. Thanks to the lovely people over at the employment office and health insurance office. Forcing me to change the working schedule I have just because they think they have a better idea by splitting the days that I have off to two parts instead of a longer one that last over the weekend.

Thanks to them I could not take the medical bost I normally take on Thursday, kind of decked out of Fridays and then ok with a little more meds during the weekend, to take less during the days when I am job training just so I won't be so foggy. Why can't they just trust a grown up that has been sick every single day of her life except her three first years? What on earth can make them think that they know my body better than I do? Sorry! I had to get that out of my system. Almost feel better right away. :)

My card then for the Passion for Promarkers with the theme of "Blue and Purple". This image, really cute but I am sorry, I don't remember what brand she is from. I've had her printed for years without colouring her up. I have then paired her up with some dps from Prima. The papers are from two different pads. Have no clue which ones. Flowers are from WOC and I am Roses. Some heart pins form my stash and pearls from Bunny Zoes. A piece of lace from Prima is also used.

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo stamps with a lovely prize of $21 to one lucky winner!

I hope to see you all play along with our challenge this week. It's fun with colour challenges as you might try out combos that you normally don't use. Purple/lilacs is that colour for me. :)

Party Time Tuesday - Anything goes

Hello there! It's time for a new Tuesday party over at your favourite party place: Party time Tuesday challenge blog. As always the theme is set to Anything goes and you for sure keep us busy with your stunning creations. Really lovely work all of you! Can't wait what your next party creation will be.

My party creation this months is a card that I have made for a friends friend who also happens to be my window cleaner. Yepp! I have one of those. Hate cleaning of all kind but especially the windows so a few times each year we have a window cleaner here and he has now turned 30.

I had a request to use a pinup style of image but as that is not my style I found something in between with this beach babe from Kenny K. I love the 50's look to this image actually. And the gift for the window cleaner was a suitcase and a gift voucher for a travel. Favourite place? Brasil! Not for me, for him.

I have used a bunch of beach papers to make the card, to connect both to the traveling theme of the gift and to Rio de Janeiro where they usually go in February. I used a quite heavy glitter glue from Panduro to reflect water and also some hemp string to go with the theme. Stars are also for me connected to the sea. Maybe because sailors used to find their way on the sea with the help of the stars before we all got high tech. :)

And this is the inside of the pull out of the card. The image in full figure, a simple flower and some cut offs from the dp's used earlier to match it all up. I also used a dp to place the image on that is easy to write on as well. The die used spelling "grattis" is from Rox Stamps and just means congratulations. It was a hard card to make due to the wish of the image but it turned out fairly well and I hope that "my" window cleaner liked his card.

Edited: New sponsor this month, the lovely Really Reasonable Ribbon!

Lace

Morning and hello blogging world! Hope you're having a good week. Looking at my pain I am actually quite good but mentally I am mess this week. Lots of rain shower and "threats" aboout thunder. I am a total mess when it comes to this. I am literally wonder how I will survive. And then it hasn't even been any thunder storm so far. Well, a tiny one a few weeks ago, but that did I kind of miss as my ears wasn't funktion then. LoL Oh well! Back to the fun part of this post; our new challenge over at the Paper Shelter. Our new theme is set to "Lace". Nice and easy. Use a piece of lace somewhere on your card and you are ready for our challenge.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

As always we have a gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with any TPS product. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three (3) digis of your choice. There is tons of fabby images to choose between and you are sure to find something that will suit you.

And here comes my card. I had actually made this card for a coming challenge we're going to have over at the Shelter, but I ran out of time to make a card for this weeks challenge. Luckly I could use it for this one. I have used the fabby image called "Arizona Fantasty". It's an amazing set of products in this set. You should really check it out. This time I have coloured the roses pink/lilac almost. Last time I think I had them coloured in yellow. I have used my Letraset markers and some pencils for a little more shading on the image.

I have made this card for my Auntie Bibbi's birthday the other week. As she spent it in Berlin I have not talked to her. I hope she liked the card. :) I have used the Vintage summer paper pad from Maja design for this card and used the big Spellbinder label something. Me and names... Anyway there is of course a piece of lace quite far down on the card and it has been mounted with a few pearls. I have also used pearls in the upper corner and the down side of the card.

Pink and white flowers from WOC and I am Roses. And a paper doily which is very tiny is also used for decorations. I made the card plain blank inside as it became quite heavy anyway. It had to go in the mail box you know. :)

Well that's all from me for today. I wish you all the best and see you back here tomorrow when my creation for May's challenge over at Party Time Tuesday goes live.

Love n hugs

Clean and simple

Morning and hello! Another qick let you know that we have a new challenge up over at Winter Wonderland. This weeks theme is "Clean and simple". Quite a bit of a challenge for many I think, me included.

It's really late when I write this or maybe I should say early, it's around 03:00 in the morning and I have not been able to sleep yet. Quite a lot on my mind and that makes it impossible to sleep. Thought I try to write a bit on this post and it might get easier to sleep knowing I have done at least this.

Edited: Finally back to fill up the post. My card is really simple well it should be as the theme is CAS. I have used a sheet of white bazill card stock and layerd it up in different hights with foam dots. I have also used a spell binder die to make the "snowy hills". The little gnoom is a snag ém stamp. Isn't he adorable? I should use him more often I think. :) I did some dodeling for decoration and then used some letter stickers to spell out my sentiment: God jul och gott nytt Ã¥r (Merry X-mas and happy New Year). They are transparent but look yellowish here. The whole card looks lots better IRL.

Our fabulous sponsor this week is Dis Digistamps who are offering a great prize of $12 to spend in their store.

Love n hugs
Marie who will be back as soon as I can.
