Winter fun over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! I am back again with a new creation for the Paper Shelter. I can't believe that it already has been two weeks since I had a challenge here. Time goes so fast and we already have November, well at least we have tomorrow. ;)

Our theme over at the Shelter is "Winter fun". I thought that we need so fun to do during the dark month before Christmas. It also gives a chance to get a Christmas card or two done before we need to send them all on the way to near and dear.

I have used the image called "Snowball fight". I have used the pre coloured image as I have tons to do at work again. I kind of messed up at work the other day and deleted some stuff that I shouldn't have. Hopefully it's possible to restore the whole thing.

I have used an old paper pad from Panduro which I don't know what it was called. I have actually managed to finished the whole big pad off even if I still have a few back grounds for a few more cards to use. At least I have finished I have used them. I have decorated my card with tons of die cuts that I took the time to make today. I have used a few Magnolia dies like the snow man, the trees, the fence and the snow flakes are from Lawn Fawn. Tons of silver glitter paper for the snow flakes and spica pen is used on the snow man.

As always, we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Nice and easy to play along, right? You can enter our challenges up to three times, but at least one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on it.

I wish you all the best and hope that you take some time to do something that makes you happy!

Anything goes or Embossing (wet or dry) over at Creatalicious Challenges

Morning and hello! It’s time to show a creation of mine again. I have two posts coming up today, thought it would be a good idea to start with the first one. Sometimes I am brilliant… 😉 We have a challenge going live for you today over at Creatalicious Challenges and our theme is set to “Anything goes or embossing (wet or dry)”. Anything goes you all fix nice and easy but do challenge yourself and do a little more with your creation. It’s always nice to be a little more than you think you can handle.

Prize  -  $10 voucher

We are sponsored by the lovely Little Blue Button and one lucky winner will receive a gift voucher worth $10 to use in the store. You have plenty to choose from so you won’t be disappointed.

So, to my card for this challenge. I have used the lovely image called “ Miss Lilly Princess” and coloured the image with my Letraset Winsor & Newton markers. My go to even if I have been cheating a bit behind the scene lately and coloured way with my distress inks. I hardly ever colour any other images than Magnolias with distress inks for some reason and I am still not happy about the result. I will work on that for a little longer. I have two new Magnolias for Halloween, but I think they could go all the year around as they have an owl and a cat together with Tilda. Maybe I even get a card together with one of the coloured images.

As I wrote on my post on Monday I have been busy changing some stuff in my craft room as I miss out on workspace. My desks are very narrow, and I need more space to be able both to scrapbook and to make cards at the same time. Well maybe not at the same time but without having to move everything around the whole time. What it has led to is that I sit in bed and scrapbook and do my cards here in the craft room as I can’t colour without strong lights now. The meds are eating some of my eyesight for the time being. Hopefully it will pass, otherwise it will be a hard life.

Anyway, I found when I was reorganizing my 6 x 6 paper packs/pads my old lovely BildmÃ¥larna design papers. They are so pretty that I had to use some of them for this card as well. I think it’s from the Spring or summer collection they had last year being in business. I miss them, I adored both paper and stamps and all the fabby charms they offered. Still have a few unused, both stamps and charms. So more of that coming up. I think I will try to make a real effort to use all my stamps at least once the coming year. That is from those which has not been used yet. I don’t want to think about how many they are, so I won’t do that. 😊

I decided to use some of my flower stash as well as a golden heart charm to decorate the card. Two die cut hearts have I also used. I love these tiny little die-cutting sets that costs almost nothing. Most of the time they are very useful, especially when it’s shaped like hearts, stars or stuff like that. I did also use some card candi as I have two million of those as well I think. But I still love those as a replacement to when I need bigger pearls which I don’t have that many off.

Ok then people! Have a good day and do plenty of what you love! Craft away and don’t forget to link it up to our challenge at Creatalicious.

Love n hugs

Christmas or Winter over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello! It’s Tuesday again and we have a new fun challenge for you over at Passion for Promarkers. Hosting this week is, well I am. I have picked the theme of Winter or Christmas, so it leaves you some more options. Me who really is a winter person loves the snow and all that comes with it, except that I must take the bus to work instead of taking my bike. It takes so much longer to go by buss. Even if I only have about 4 kms, it takes about 45 minutes to get to work by bus. I must walk a lot and get tons more pain. So maybe I don’t like winter as much anymore. 😊But Christmas is still nice.

So, I have dug out one of my Snowy Magnolias just as I do every year. To me the snowmen images is still the best ones they have done there. He or she, hard to tell right? Is coloured with my Promarkers and Triamarkers even if I am running very low on those pens by now. You know, to have a chance on the prize for this week’s challenge you must use the Letraset / Winsor & Newton markers some kind of version. Easy peasy, right? Of course, you must follow the theme as well.

Sponsoring this challenge is UNIKO STAMPS and they offer one lucky winner a stamp set that is in stock.

I dug some more in my stash today and found a new place for all my paper pads. Well, I have been working on that project since the beginning of September or so but now I’ slowly getting there. I have a small craft room and I need workspace so now are all my paper pads going down under my desks. In lovely wooden apple boxes from IKEA. I have two sizes of them and the small ones fits the 6 x 6 paper pads good and under I can store stuff that I don’t use that often. Perfect! I have for example put all my diamond paintings in one of them. Later, I will hit the shelfs in my closets as well to free up some space. Never ending mission but I am pretty sure that the room is shrinking!

Back to my card, as I said I dug around in my paper pads and found yet another favourite of mine. My Bildmålarna papers, this one is called Winter Wishes. They went out of business some years ago and I really loved what they had going, both the stamps, paper pads and my beloved charms. Miss you tons! I kind of miss Hanglar Stanglar as well, but I saw in a scrapbook store that they are back Hanglar & xxx something. Looked nice.

I used up some of my pre-cut snowflakes and a Christmas tree decoration as well. Thought it would be nice to get some stuff out of my stash. Can’t believe that it never gets empty here, it should. I am not crafting that little. 😊I have used some lovely lace and some golden string as well to make a little more stuff go on at my card. Have also used a few different Spica pens to add some glitter to the card. Christmas needs some sparkle, am I right or am I right?

Ok then happy people! Take good care and do something that makes you happy! Like play along with us over at Passion for Promarkers

Colour it! over at Winter Wonderland

Morning and hello! Time for a new challenge over at the Winter Wonderland again. I am the host of the week and also the sponsor for this event. I have set the theme to COLOUR IT! That means that we want to see images that you have coloured for this challenge. So no precoloured or lovely scenery built with die cuts. You are the maker of this card. So digg out all those markers or what you use to colour your image with.

I have fond a really old image that I had laying around for a really long time but for now can I not remember what the artist is named. But I used them a lot when they very new, and I still love them. I have coloured it with prisma pencils this time. A really unusally exprience with me. It was fun, but hard. That's the truth.

I found a bunch of paper pads that I have hardly used but now I cant remember what they are called. Probabably from Studio Light. I picked some in green, blue and browninsh /kraftcoloured paper. I love the settle colours this bring to the card. Then I rocked on with some gold hearts to decorate with and golden sentiment as well. To top it off did I add a few brown heart as well. A little more balance was fond by that.

Anyway, I hope that you want to come and join us for this callenge. It's two weeks long and you have to link up your card to the challenge. It shold be nice and easy, just find something to colour with Christmas motives. Make some Christmas cards or something eles that has Christmas in mind.

Love n hugs

Digital image over at The Paper Shelter

Morning and hello, or maybe not morning, but hello! :) I'm a bit late with my post for the Paper Shelter this week. I'm stuggling a bit with my meds and have terrible headaches and feel like I'm having the tummy flu with all the time. Today however have I been off work and can finally write the post.

I have used the fabby image called My adorable Little Witch. I don't celebrate halloween but I love the colours of fall and that's why I try to make at least one halloween card each year. I coloured with my Letraset / Winsor and Newton markers. The paper pad is an old one that I don't have the front left and have no clue from where it is. I think I have mixed in a paper from Bo Bunny. But the rest is from another company. Strange, I try to finish of my paper pads and then pads with papers I use once or twice per year they are almost gone. Hmm...

I have used a few dies from Magnolia, Sweden. I love the spider cob, it's stunning and then I found some gold tread and added that to the mix as well. Some golden pearls in the hat and a spider charm to top it off. I hope you like the creation and can find some inspiration from it and maybe make a card for our challenge over at the Paper Shelter. The theme of the week is DIGITAL IMAGE. So it should be easy to make a card for this one.

I wish you a great weekend and hope to see you play along with us over at the Paper Shelter.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Bingo over at Passion For Promarkers

Morning and hello! Time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week we have a really fun challenge for you. We are playing BINGO! And let's say that Lisa has made a great bingo board where even I won, as I forgot to check it before I finished my card. Printer died on me, off to buy a new one, refused to print as I wanted, got it to work, forgot about the bingo board, checked it after finising the card, took a big breath and here I am with sponsor image and everything. And got BINGO! Yay! LoL

This is the fabby bingo board that Lisa made for us. Nice and easy and you should be able to check most of it off if you check it before you start. LoL

Since I am still on a mission to great cards for male I got this fabby image from Dr Digi's house of stamps called Happy Hour Horace. A fabby fun image that I tried to place at the sports bar. I found some designer papers from Prima called All Star Collection which I for some reason also had bought a pack of tags and tickets for. Happy for that today and that I remembered to use them.

I made some creative cutting here and there and got the papers to last a bit more than they may be should have, and I am wondering why I did it as I have plenty of all the stuff like papers and everything. Oh well if feels good to be in a none waste mood. I wanted to come up with some brilliant sentiment for this one, but today it didn't work, but a little fun at least considering the umbrella placed in the bear.

Our sponsor this week is Dr Digis House of Stamps and they are offering one lucky winner two digi images from their store. That is if you use Promarkers from Winsor & Newton former known as Letraset.

Ok then, I will be back tomorrow with a new creation for the Paper Shelter. Hope to see you then as well. Maybe you even want to combine or challenges. But for now you can play along with us over at Passion for Promarkers.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Time to celebrate over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! I am back for the second time this week. Keeping really busy here. LoL This time I am here with my project for the Paper Shelter and our new theme for the week. I have set the theme to "Time to Celebrate!" Hopefully you fill find some time and join our fun challenge. It's nice and easy. You can celebrate Christmas, halloween, birthdays or what ever you have coming up. It is all about the celebration.

I am not the biggest fan of unicorns but they are starting to grow on me actually. The Paper Shelter keeps coming up with new fun, charming images of them and for my card have I used the newest one. It's called Unicornmania and if you like it, just click the link and you get straight to the image.

I have coloured the fabby image with my Promarkers and some glitter pen, and fussy cut the whole thing out. Glad I didn't mess that up too much as the on/off button of my printer broke today so now I am without printer until that is fixed. I miss my printer already and all of the sudden feel the urge to print tons of stuff. :(

I used a paper pack that I found reorganizing my stash the other week. I think it's connected to Forever Friends, the little brown bear if you all remember? Lovely darker and lighter pastel coloured papers. And as I have a niece turning four later this week, I thought it was a good match with unicorns and kind of girly papers. To add extra girl to the design did I use hot pink sentiment strips saying Hip Hip Hurray in Swedish, some die cuts hearts from Lawn Fawn. To top it all of did I add a gold glittery thicker number from american crafts. A note book punch have I also used. Bought it because I loved the look on layouts but have not gotten to use it for that yet. First time today! Better late than never.

Ok then, time for me to sign off for today. I wish you a great week and hope to see you over at the Paper Shelter. And we have a few spots open on our design team if you are interested. Do contact me and I have a look at your fabby creations.

Take care and do something that make you happy!

Christmas is coming over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello! It's Tuesday again and time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This time are we going to make Christmas Cards. Nice isn't it? For me it's a pure joy as that is my favorite kind of project to make. So our theme this week is set to Christmas is coming. The only thing you have to do to take part in our challenge is to make a christmas card and colour with your Promarkers. Then you also have a shot at our prize. Winner picked by Mr Random himself!

Bilden kan innehålla: text

Our sponsor this week is the lovely Di's Digi Stamps. They offer a prize of $12 voucher for one lucky winner. That is someone who has coloured with their promarker or their cousins from Letraset.

For my card this week have I used a Magnolia image that I had stamped up ages ago and coloured it up from time to time when I had a minute or two left over. I do also have a stash of pre made back¨+' grounds that I made during the summer as I had trouble sleeping so sat in bed and made cards without any images. It work out pretty well. I finished the paper pad from Panduro. It is all in turquise and lilac, so not my favorite colours but I wanted to finish it off.

Anyway it was good to have it when I made this card as I have tons of homework at the moment. Well, my kids have and for some reason they don't think they can do their home work if someone isn't listening to them. The whole evening is gone by the time we're done. My partner is working tons at the moment so two more weeks do I help to kids and I am pretty messed up by it. I am suddenly learning German again, it was only 30 years ago. LoL

My card, sorry got a bit side tracked again. I added some cotton lace and a few pearls as decorations. And then I added the most adorable snowman from Magnolia. He is so cute! The most wonderful die I have bought in a long time. The sentiment die was a freebee from a Paper crafting magazine. It's still a bit big but it's growing on me.

Anyway, I now hope that you will come along a play with us. You know it's only some weeks left before December is here again and then you will be happy that you started on your Christmas cards today. Just remember to colour with your promarkers or Aquamarkers.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie
