Hearts/love or anything goes over at Creatalicious Challenges

Morning and hello! How are you? Hope you're doing fine and have had a great week. Here in my part of the world is it a very strange weather with snow storms one day, the next one is it raining and very windy. And I get pain and are even more tired than usual. But here I am spent some of my weekend crafting away beside the fire which was soo good. So very relaxing and lovely.

Today is it time to show of the design work for the Creatalicious Challenges which has the theme of Love/hearts or Anything goes. I have used to follow the theme of hearts as I was in the mood for making a Christmas card again. Yes! I know! You have to do it when you feel it. I have a whole lot made up already and not shown here yet. Will come when I get some extra energy for stuff like that, in other words blog just for fun. :) The blogging part is fun, finding light for taking good photos is not as fun as I such at it.

I know I have used a Magnolia image but I don't know from when it is probably 2015 or 2016 and I don't know the name of it. The little Christmas Tilda is paired up with some designer papers from Dovecraft I think, in lovely green, bluegrey and browns. Tons of lovely papers from way back. :) The design is fairly simple and the card is dressed with some sequines and some die cut hearts from Lawn Fawn I would say from the look of them. Love these sets with different sized shapes.

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is

Prize  -  $ 20 gift cert.

Well, I hope that you take the chance to come and play with us as the theme is simple or you can always go with the Anything goes theme. Nice and fun for times when you just want to have fun, relax and craft away. Take care everyone and do something that makes you happy.

Love n hugs
Marie

Dies and/or punches over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! Time for a new fun challenge over at the Paper Shelter. This week are we using our much beloved old punches and using our die cuts mashines. So theme being set to Dies and/or punches once again. We kind of like that theme here at the Shelter as it is something most of us have around any maybe not use all the time and some does it all the time. I spend a few hours last weekend using my tiny die cutting mashine and took care of some scrap cardstock die cutting shapes that I tend to use often like stars, like hearts and stuff like that.

So I have made a card as well. I have coloured the image called Glittery and Sparkling. Coloured away with my Letraset / Winsor and Newton markers. The colours got a bit more dull than expected but it looks fairly nice anyway. It was fun to do something that I normally don't do: blending colours that don't belong together how to speak. I blend pinks, I blend blues etc but hardly never with eachother. Sometimes you need to get out of your comfty zone right?

I fond a bunch of old paper pads before Christmas and sorted them up in different piles to get used. Now have I switched them around for the third time this year. And I am really getting stuff used again. Feels so great! This is a paper pad with lovely cute pastel papers and gave me a great match for this image.

Some details added to the card by a border die from Magnolia and I think my big star is from Magnolia as well. The other two stars have I no clue from where they are. I thought I bought a few mini dies with different shapes a few months before Christmas and they were really cheap. Love it when I find stuff that I can afford or buy without feeling robbed. There is also a few sequines and a silver ribbon/webby thing added for some sparkle and shine.

As always, we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Nice and easy to play along, right? You can enter our challenges up to three times, but at least one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on it.

Anyway, this is all from me for today. I have a few more cards coming up later on this week as two more of my designteams goes live this week. Stay tuned for them!

Love n hugs
Marie

Flowers over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello! How are you? Hope you're doing better than I am. I am so very low of energy and feel so very... I don't know empty I think. Oh well, at least it was kind of fun to make this card. We have a new fabby challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and the theme is set to FLOWERS.

To have a chance to get your hands on the prize you have to use your promarkers for your colouring.

Sponsoring this challenge is LeAnn's World 101
Our generous sponsor this week is Leann’s World 101 and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from their online store. Their images are so much fun so why not pop over to the store and check them out. Some of the DT were lucky enough to use images from Leann’s World 101 on their creations this week.

I have not used any sponsor image for this challenge as I had a card made that I could use for this challenge. Once again have I used a Sarah Kay image and some Maja Design papers. I think the papers are from a fall collection of Maja Design but it can be a mix from different collections as well.

I have coloured with promarkers of course and then added some pearls and flowers from my stash. There is also a ribbon added to the card design. I have also used a tiny doily that I have maily covered up by the fence die from Magnolia. I just cut it in half, the fence I mean. There is also some glitter stickles added to the flowers.

Hope you take some time to come and play along with us over at Passion for Promarkers.

Love n hugs

Digital image over at the Paper Shelter

EDITED 190118 Sorry totally forgot about posting my photo, but better late than never...

Morning and hello! A new week, a new challenge. Well the week is almost half done and it has been snowing yesterday. That means weather changes and pain like crazy again. But now it's getting better again. So today it will be work at work and not from home. Will be good to get out of the house even if it was impossible the other day.

Enough! My card! I start with a knock out card and an image I would normally not use but I thought that it would be nice to use my new big collection of Echo Park papers with dots and lines. They are lovely and I bought them really cheep. Gave away tons of paper before Christmas and have started to stack up again. Hmmm... Well these I will use as I love the clean look of those papers and lines and dots and spots are always nice on a creation. Both for scrapbooking and card making.

I used the pre coloured version of One More Round as I have had tons to do at work again. I have spent man hours with getting new products up on our home page and to write down all the new prizes in the show catalogues. It is a big Exibition is Stockholm this week called Formex and you find all kind of companies showing of their new products there. Tons of work and probably alot of fun. My body would never stand four days at that place packing up and down everything and then be nice to customers in between.

I have decorated the card with some die cut stars from the same papers as I used for the main layers in my card and a few happy red card candies as well. Love the clean look of these and they goes very well with the designer papers too. LoL

Our theme is week is really simple: "Digital image". That means that you use a digital image to create. You don't have to colour it yourself but you have to print it yourself. No bought toppers for this one. I hope you will have fun joining our challenge and take some time to play  along. You never know, you might be our lucky winner of the week!

Love n hugs

Dies and or punches over at PFP

Morning and hello! Time for team one over at Passion for Promarkers to start off the challenge year. Team two started it off last week with some fabby creations as always. This week's theme is a real classic; Dies and/or punches. A really nice and easy one to start of the year.

Our sponsor this week is

No photo description available.
Dr Digis house of stamps whhich is offering one lucky winner two digis of their choice.

I have used one of my old stamps from Sarah Kay for this challenge. I realized that I have such a huge stash of stamps that I have not even used so it is about time I start use them again and decide if I want to keep them or not. Luckly for me I know one or two teachers that I can give them to for use in their art classes and after school activities. LoL But for now I keep my stamps and try to use them a little more. All the smashing digi images that I have used the last few years really is easier on my joints than the rubber/silicon stamps so it's easier. Stamping on good days, colouring another. :)

I don't know what the image is called but it's really sweet and coloured with my Promarkers. For the first time in like forever have I had to buy some new markers which was nice in away. I have to check them all out to see which more I need to buy. I paired this old fashion image with some designer papers from Maja Design. My stash of papers from them is big and in a even bigger mess so I don't know from which pad them come but they works well together all of the collections.

I have used some old dies from Marianne I believe the swirly greens are. There is some magnolia flowers under the white ones as the blue really put some great details to the card. Then we have the Martha Stewart border punch also used. Flowers from my stash, probably from I am Roses as I can get really big packs from there for a good price. Love these smaller cut flowers. Oh, I have also used a really tiny butterfly punch in multi layers as well. Some pearls finish everything off. Was really strange to make a none Christmas / winter card. LoL

Anyway, I hope that you will come and play with us over at Passion for Promarkers. You have to use these markers to play along but we don't mind if you mix in some pens or other markers just as long as the Promarkes dominates your colouring.

Love n hugs
Marie

It's Snow Time over at the Winter Wonderland

Morning and hello! I start with appologizing for my lack of posts here lately. Have been totally knocked out since the week before Christmas with a bunch of infections. Both ear infections, colds and I don´t know what. Now I am having a second ear infection and a third bunch of antibiotics. May be the kind doctors could give a long enough doze to get the infections to go away from the start. At least they could give me who always have trouble with the ears and know when it's going to get bad. Oh well, except that I hear nearly nothing at the moment so do I think I'm on the right way now.

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

And here's a little bit about Beccy:
My paper obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into card-making and digital drawing.  There were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon embroidery mixed in there too!  I still dabble in each of those crafts, and many others, but I generally gravitate toward paper, which I find versatile and forgiving.

I started “doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is when I started my blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies.  From there I progressed to my very own online store selling digital drawings for cards and other paper craft projects. In 2012, Margaret Myers from Sparkle N Sprinkle contacted me with a proposal to make some of my designs into rubber stamps, which was a very exciting opportunity for me. Four years later, I decided to further expand my business by offering my very own range of clear stamps, which are also sold from my online store. My latest venture is a line of cutting dies that will coordinate with some of my most popular clear stamps.

These days, when I’m not hanging out with my husband and kids, I spend a lot of time with other crafters and card makers, enjoying our shared passion for handcrafts. I can’t imagine a day without some sort of creative activity taking place, whether it’s designing a new image, hand-stitching a little toy or just taking some inspirational photographs.

Not only have I had trouble with infections, it seems like the internet connection has some trouble as well here. Maybe it has been over loaded by the kids playing pc games? Oh well, hope I get this post up at least then it can break down for a little while. I need to work during the weekend but not tonight...

We have our first challenge up for you for this year over at the Winter Wonderland. Theme being snow. You need to have snow on your creation in some way. I have used the freebie image called Bobbie. I have coloured the smashing image with my promarkers and paired it up with designer papers from Lawn Fawn.

My snow flake die cuts are also from Lawn Fawn, probably my most used dies. Perfect size for cards. Just love them and if you only want one set of snow flake dies in your stash this is the one you should go for in my opinon.

Anyway, I hope that you will come and play along with us over at the Winter Wonderland. Our challenges are now monthly so you have plenty of time to play along with our challenges.

Love n hugs

Anything goes over at Creatalicious Challenges

EDITED: Sorry didn't see that this one didn't go live as it should, but better late than never.

Morning and hello! Time for my first dt-card of 2019. The year could have started better as I have a bad cold and earinfection again. Have been sick for many weeks now. Feel like crap but hope it will change soon. It can't go on forever, can it?

Our theme this time is something new or anything goes and for this card have I gone with the anything goes theme as I am still stuck in Christmas card making just because I love it. My favourite kind of cards to make.

Sponsoring our challenge is

Prize - $15 Gift Certificate

I have used the TPS image called heart of Christmas from our sponsor the Paper Shelter. I make tons of cards with TPS images but still never seems to be able to use them all so when I get the chance to use an image I have not used yet I try to take it.

I am sorry for the really bad photo as I have trouble with lights her at the moment. It's dull and dark outside and it doesn't help that I such and getting got lights when I take my photos. If I can I will try to fix it when I can and have the energy for it.

Anyway, I hope that you will join us over at the challenge blog and make a card for our challenges. It's always great to see what you create.

Love n hugs
Marie
