So it was a really looong night the one who passed. was not able to sleep at all and what do I do then? A card of course!
This card is made this challenges
* Paper take weekly - A sketch
* Winterwonder Wonderland - Sweets either on image or sweet's colours on your card
* Passion for promarkers - open theme (God they must be tired of me by now!)
* Susies & Vikki's Christmas Club - Baby's first X-mas
Not so much to say about the card. It's coloured with my promarkers of corse. Have even used one with metallic gold for some details on the shoes and the bell in the hat. The same down loaded X-mas papers as I used on the last X-mas card, some gold mirri board and cardcraft candy. Computer generated sentiment in Swedish saying "First X-mas".
This is all for today!
All the best to you all,
hugs

Lili of the Valley challenge No 54, a sketch
Hi there! Monday again and the rain is falling once again. Start to get a little boring, but the say after rain comes sunshine. Let's hope that is soon. :)
The card for today is for the Lili of the Valley challenge. I love those little cute images with the sketchy feeling to them. Today I've used Birthday Thomas with a cake. I don't thing he is called that for real but he could be named that.
My DP today are a mix from Pinkprettycoat and the wild rose studio. Flowers from Wildorchid Craft, ribbon from stash and pearls from BunnyZoe. All edges are distressed with vintage photo from Tim Holtz. Lovely colour.
Of to rest for a while again, have huge problems sleeping at the moment so I try to get every chance I can.
Challenges of today
* Lili of the Valley - sketch by the lovely Bev
* Passion for Promarkers - Anything goes
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Another day and another card
Keept myself busy last night as well, not only by writing letters. Had a few friends to catch up with. Cardmaking takes up quite alot of my time and my poor pen pals suffer out of this. Sorry you all! I do my best!
This card is one made for
* I love Promarkers (a sketch),
* Simon Says stamp (colour challenge pink/blue, green and brown) and since it's an open theme at
* Passion for promarkers I enter it there as well. Massive dose of prices there this week. Check it out!
The sketch....
The image I've used is from the latest club kit from Bildmålarna.se. Mimosa in the bathtub or something like that. Really sweet. Flowes are made by retro flower punches and added with some dew drops, brich leaf from a woodware punsh. Velvet ribbon and the DP are from a local supermarket. Have added some glitter glue in the bath as well. After all it is a bubble bath. :)
So of to get some rest before my little monsters get back home again.
Have a really good day all of you!
Hugs,
Marie

Merry Christmas! :) :)
Don't fall of your chair now when I present my first Christmas card of the year. :) It was so fun to make when the thunder was over us yesterday. Yes I know we're in the end of May but blogging around a bit last night I found two Christmas challenges and I thought hey why not? I got about 50 X-mas cards to make so I better get started right away. This way, no hurry. I am really pleased with how this little Santa guy turned out. My markers and I actually agreed and worked well together for once. I find the red ones really hard to colour with so it's one big "Hurra" today! :) :)
I followed the sketch from Winterwonder land.
The DP are from a down load from Shabby princess. Half pearls used are from BunnyZoe, flowers from Wild Orchid craft and the charm is also BunnyZoe. Ribbon is one from Anitas' card packs, I have just used one of my "today" beloved red markers to make it red instead of the original pink. All edges are distressed with vintage photo from TH. I hope you like my little creation. Feel a bit rusty when it comes to X-mas cards. :) The image is from Sugarnellie.
This card will go in the challenges of:
* Passion for Promarkers - Anything goes and as the Santa is coloured with my markers here he comes. Tons of lovely prizes up this anniversery week, and you can enter as many times as you like. Just use your markers...
* Winterwonder land - sketch
* Susie and Vickie's Christmas club - Anything Christmas
Have a really good day. Of to watch Tomas the Tanktrain with Philip how is home sick today.
Hugs,
Marie

A left over card
...and with that I meen I have just used stuff that has been laying around my desk and that becomes a left over card. The image is from Lili of the Valley, coloured with promarkers. Distressed with tattered rose around all edges. Some half pearls from Bunny Zoe and stämpelgården. Homemade flower with a piece of ribbon and an old button, covert with frosted laze glitterglue. Prima leafs...ribbon from Panduro.
I will enter this card for a few challenges
* Passion for promarkers - Anything goes as long as you colour with your promarkers.
* Flutter by Wendsday's - Have fairy, butterfly or angel on you card
There was one more but it has got lost in my foggy head.
Time to get something in my tummy and then down in the basement and light a fire again. It's the end of May and it's really cold here today.
So that's all! Oh well Happy birthday Passion for Promarkers! One year old this week! Congrats! Well done ladies keeping it going for this long!
Hugs,
Marie

Friday sketchers 103
Finally blogger is up and working again. Huge problems last night. So now I hurry to get my cards in here before it crashes again. This weeks sketch is a real treat to work with and I really enjoyed it a lot.
The sketch for you to follow looks like this. The sketch is made by Friday sketchers' Jeanette. A really lovely sketch to work with.
For my card I've used a Mimosa image from the new club kit from Bildmålarna. A real sweetie isn't she? She is coloured with different ink refills. Flowers from Wildorchid crafts. DP from Panduro and pearls from BunnyZoe's
It shows that it's Monday morning. Really tired today as well are the kids. Took a while to get them to day care today but now they are there and probably have a blast. So far the sun is shining and more than one of the neighbours are out cutting the grass. Then I have to stay in 'cause I'm allergic to it. Summer time will be long if the grass keeps growing this fast. :)
Hugs,
Marie
Just Magnolia - a sketch
Hi and hello!
Today I think that my computer is playing games with me. Nothing has worked until now. Drives me crazy! Lots of time spent by the computer when I could have made a card or two!
This time at Just Magnolia we have a sketch to follow made by Jane. It looks like this and was great fun to work with. Thanks for that Jane!
For my card this week I have used a couple of downloads for DP. Both from Bearly mine Design and Pinkpretticoat. Some white card stock. I've used Tilda from Lazy summerday from last summer, together with some star fishes and gelly fishes which I have put some glossy accent on. A gingham ribbon and some dew drops finishes it all off. Hope you like. It is all coloured with my promarkers. It's stamped with memento's Paris dusk. Great colour and a nice change from black and brown all the time.
Have a good evening!
Hugs,
Marie

Good morning out there!
Back in the blog land again. Finished a card last night and now I finally got the chance to take my photos of it, "in between" the rain showers that seems to be the theme of the day here. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom now. When it started it only took a day and now the whole tree is covered in flowers. Looks lovely.
For this card I kind of got flower crazy. Tons of roses both on the DP from Papermanias Henbury lane and with the roses from Wild orchid crafts. There is also a few fantasy flowers inside the card together with roses and hydrenias from Prima. Glitter, half pearls, charms, hatpins, butterflies, pearl string, metal string... all covers my card this time. The images are from Magnolia from the latest collection "Fairytail". I've used "Midsummer Tilda", "Fairy Tilda" and "Fantasy flower". The card closes with a magnetic button.
You wont believe how much fun I had making this card. I spent most of the other day down in the basement where I got all my stuff and worked on this card and another one that I altered between while this was drying.
So with this said I want to enter my card in to a few challenges
* Passion for Promarkers - theme mythical/fantasy (my little fairies are there, two of them)
* Papertake weekly - say it with flowers
* Just Magnolia - one for the girls
* Simon says - tent card and charms
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Marie

Lili of the Valley challenge No 53, a sketch
Hi there! Thought I enter the LOTV challenge while I'm waiting for my lunch to get ready. For this card I have used the "Me and my pony" stamp from LOTV and combined it with DP from Wild rose studio and DCWV down load, sweet something I belive it's called. I found it in my scrapbox, so I don't really recall the name of it.
The sketch made by Bev
Flowers are from WOC and so is the heart pin, pearls from Stämpelgården as well as the pearl string. Ribbon Panduro. MS has done some work for me this time as well. Sentiment computer generated on Letraset safemat. I do love the little mouse eating left overs from the horse, so adorable.
The micro just said "Pling" so it's time to get some lunch now.
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Passion for Promarkers "Strawberry and cream"
At Passion for Promarkers this week the theme is "Strawberries and cream" and this is what I did with it...
So here we go. Home from Gothenburg and finally finished a card. Tired today and not totally motivated, still didn't want to miss out on the fun! :) At the moment it's more fun to colour in images than to make cards from them. Still, had to do something to be in the challenge. So this is what I came up with.
I used Tilda in the strawberry land and the so sweet text stamp from last summer. Put it together with some DP from Magnolia as well. Strawberries and a check pattern together. Picknick maybe? A charm from Pagoní as well as the material for the "hat pins". Rose from WOC and a prima flower. Quick Kuts leaf and I am done. Almost, some pearls from BunnyZoe and a ribbon from WOC finish off this little creation of mine.
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Just Magnolia Monthly special - It takes two
Another quicky tonight! I want to get down to the basement and light a fire. I'm cold and tired. And feel like stitching for a while. Since I will be short on time tomorrow I thought I do this tonight.
For the monthly special at Just Magnolia this month you have to use at least two Magnlia stamps. I manged to use three but my image turned out really big. Need smaller stamps I think. :) Well a Tilda from the new club kit as well as the butterfly, background is from the Chasing butterfly kit from last spring. I've done some masking and also cut out one of the butterflies to add a little dimesion to the card. Flowers are from Prima, half pearls from Stämpelgården. Tilda is coloured with promarkers. And the DP are from MME.
OK, I'm off for now. Stitching time! I'm also entering this one to the Lili of the Valley challenge where the challenge is "Here comes summer". I think I have already entered once, hope it's OK to go twice?
Take care and hugs,
Marie

A few card candy dots from the same place. A dotty ribbon from a local store.
Have good eve everyone, now time for needle and thread for a while.
Hugs,

Friday sketchers week 101
Here we go again! A little time to enter Friday Sketchers for the first time in a while. Finished with the wedding invitations and now free to make my own cards again. Great!
The sketch looks like this. I didn't know how to deal with it but it came together nicely and easy. Thanks for that! :)
For my card I've used a Sarah Kay image from the new line and coloured her with distress inks. Decided not to colour the back ground and only coloured the girl for once. Have used flowers from prima (Shabby chick) and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, rose buds from Storytellers. Hat pins are also from WOC. DP are from Tilda classic range from Panduro.
So now we're off for a walk as it finally has stopped to rain in my part of the world. Two days of autumn weather is almost coming to an end I hope.
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Passion for promarkers week 50
This week at Passion for Promarkers the theme is "Gratitude". Well I found a couple of unused High Hope stamps that I love but havn't gotten around to use, so this was perfect. It's not the typical thank you not but still a thank you.
For this card I made my first easel card. Why have I not done that before? So simple and fun to make them. The upper part of the card is made following a sketch from Pixi cottage, I think it's called. I liked how it looked and borrowed it. DP are a down load from DCWV, BBF. You find it at http://www.300dpi.com/
So here comes a few pictures of my card.
Today it's really sweet and short, have to pick up my boys now. Weekend is waiting and we'll spend it in a gym hall watching my nephew compete in a jiu jitsu tournament. Following in his fathers and uncles footsteps. He's 10 years old this summer and very stubborn. Will be fun to watch even if he is the youngers in the tournament...
Oh, and thanks again for bringing me to top-5 last week. (Still smiling...)
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Just Magnolia Week 53
Finally I've managed to finish a card. I'm in the middle of making a bunch of invitations, but needed a break from that so now I finally finished a card for Just Magnolia challenge. For a change I've coloured with distress ink refills. Was a long time since I did that as my fave choise at the moment is my promarkers. Way much faster when I colour with them, the little darlings. :)
Well, this week we got a sketch to follow. A simple one, just what I like. It looks like this.
For my card I've used Tilda with flower basket. Cut her out with spellbinders. DP I've used is TH the shabby lane again. This time in blue. Decorations is a piece of "pearl string" from Magnolia, Prima flowers in baby blue and some half pearls in different sizes from Stämpelgården. Just as simple as that.
Now I'm off to the dentist again. See if he can find out what has happend with my poor tooth.
Have a good day!
Hugs,
Marie

Just a card
Had a little time left over the other day and came up with this lilac card. It's all coloured with promarkers. Even shale is used, first time! I'm so proud of myself. And do you know what? My collection of promarker pens are now complete! Every single colour now lives in my crafting space! Woohoo! They are so cute! :)
Well back to reality! This card is made in lilac and silver with a stamp from papermania I think. I thought I needed so more grown up stamps to complement all my cuties. So I started of with this one.
Now back to normal boring life, cooking dinner! Order out may be?
Take care and hugs for you all,
Marie
