Wishes or Anything goes over at Creatalicious

Good afternoon everyone and a happy new year to you all!
This is the final blog post of 2019. Hasn't the year passed by really quickly? It feels like it was just a few weeks since 2019 started.

It has in my world been a really hard year with tons of pain and sorrow after losing Hasse just before Christmas. I will never have a cat like him again. He always sat with us at the dinner table, saying to him you have to wait for your treats. He looked at me with his big yellow eyes, putting his head to the left and then right. Then he sent out one of his paws to start his fishing journey. When he was done, he put a "kiss" on the cheek. I will miss him like crazy!

So on the final day of year 2019 do we have a new challenge going live for creatalicious challenges. You have the theme of wishes or anything goes, just like always. You can enter the challenge up to three times.

We are sponsored by Hannah Lynn which is offering one lucky winner 2 digis.

For my card have I used the Hannah Lynn image called Halloween Wolf. She's coloured with my Promarkers and some glitter markers on top of that. I did also use some kind of glitter card for the back drop to the image.

My designer papers are from Primas Moulin Rouge which has been in my stash for a long time. I cut the curtain part of one part of the pad, used a blue paper as back ground and added a paper from another pad with text on it from an even older pad. Some lace in cream and brown, a few golden pearls on a few snow flakes that I die cut with my Lawn Fawn die. Finished the card of with a sentiment from Hanglar & Wings saying "Vinterhälsningar" (winter wishes).

Well then, I wish you well for the New Year and hope you have a wonderful year 2020!

Love n hugs,
Marie

I have made yet another Magnolia card this time with the sweet skiing Edwin. I have used a paper pad that I think is a Polish brand but I can't find it in the mess at the moment.

For decorations for this card have I fussy cut the border strips up and down and layered them. Some pearl stars and sequins adds some glitter and bling.

Anything goes over at The Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
Thanks to each and everyone who took the time to play along and enjoy our blog hop over at the Paper Shelter. It's wonderful that we still have this great support from you all, after all these years. Fantastic!

Well then, today is it time for a new challenge over at the paper shelter and this time we're having a little break over Christmas. So no commenting will be done from the team but the prize is the same as always. $30 gift voucher to the store playing with a TPS image or 3 images of your choice playing with another brand.

I have for this card used the lovely image called Fun In The Snow. Coloured it ages ago with my promarkers and brought it together with my Dove Craft paper pad. The only decoration for the card is using a border punch for the edges of the standing panel and a sentiment stamp from Hänglar Wingar Sweden. Don't remember when I bought a stamp set that I have used so much in such short time. I also used a darker card stock for the image panel and that toned down the darker colours of the image a bit and made it pop as well.

Well then, short and sweet as I have a sick cat in the house and I have trouble focusing on anything at the moment. I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year if you don't hear from me in a while.

Take care, and do something that you enjoy!

Love n hugs

A new card Just for the fun of it

Morning and hello!12th of December and here in Sweden is it only 12 more days before the day with the big "D" arrives. We have our main celebrations during the 24th, and the starts fussball (indoor soccer) tournaments until the middle of January or so. LoL Actually for us it is true. We have at least on kid play 29th of December, but you have tournaments that start 26 of December as well. It's stressful to keep up with them all. And in the middle of it all are there adults play as well. It's fun to watch and we probably should be doing something more relaxing but for now is this what we enjoy.

Anyway, tomorrow is the 13th and I have a doctors appointment that I have been waiting for, for at least a month and a half. I can hardly remember why I wanted to go there. Well, I do but it starts to feel better by now so...

13th of December is also Lucia day here in Sweden. We celebrate an Italian Saint who come with light and hope. Her name was St Lucia. Well, she wasn't named saint but become one after dying martyr death.

Often does kids dress up and sing christmas carols in church or in school. They have a white long dress on and a red ribbon around the waist. Well since 1950 or so has it also included some ginger bread men, star boys, santas and maidens that often has tinsel in their hair and around their waist. Lucia has a crown with candlelights in it.

Well, I have an image like that and I love it. I kind of doesn't stamp alot any more. I mostly use digital images. Therefore my stamps never get used but somehow when Christmas comes around I dig out my Magolias and this is one of them.

She's coloured with my Promarkers and paired up with a pad from I think a polish company but I am not sure what it's called. I have used some flowers, silver web and die cuts to dress the card. I hope you like it and that you take some time of your busy December and do something just for the fun of it.

Take care and make happiness!

Anything goes over at Winter Wonderland

Morning and hello, or in this case good afternoon and hello!
I am a day off or so, our new challenge at the Winter Wonderland went live yesterday. I didn't managed to finish my card in time Thursday, got sick before I could finish it and here we are. I have done it, a few minutes at time. Now I just hope it will dry quick and easy while I write this. It's our last challenge for 2019 and our theme is set to "Anything goes".

We are sponsored by the lovely people over at  Digital Delights this month and they offer one lucky winner a gift voucher worth $5 to spend in their store. How nice isn't that? There is plenty of images to choose from.

Here are some links to their store etc. Just click the name and you will get there.

Shop

For my card then have I used the same image as the rest of the team. It's called  Magical Tree Santa. It's sweet image and lovely to colour. I have used my promarkers to colour and some glitter pens to add some details. I have also used some glossy accent on the red nose and glasses. I did also go over the snow flakes after having coloured them with a glitter pen.

For designer papers have I used a bunch of papers from a paper pad called Merriest Christmas by docraft's Papermania. They have a little modern twist to the normal bright red and green that normally comes for Christmaspads. I like it even if I have to think around the colours when I colour. The clash with the traditional versions of it. :)

I have used some die cuts to decorate the card, some pears, a piece of ribbon and a bow to decorate the card. It was pretty nice and easy to put together.

Anyway, I hope that you will take the time to play along with us and finish off your last cards for the year, or maybe start the new ones for next year. It's good to start in time!

Take care and do something that you enjoy and make you relax!

Love n hugs

Bloghop over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
It's December once again and over at the Paper Shelter does it mean celebration time. We have our yearly blog hop to celebrate that a new year has passed and that a new one starts. So this time, lasting until December 17th you can visit all our blogs and having a chance of winning a digi of your choice. You have one chance at each blog you visit including the main blog.

On top of the blog hop do we have our normal challenge and the theme is set to "birthdays / celebrations". That means everything is welcome from Christmas to birthdays. It's important that your creation shows some kind of celebration, either with the image or a sentiment.

So you don't have to take part in the blog hop to join our challenge or take part in our challenge to play along with the blog hop. One, two or both is totally fine.

I have made a birthday card for this challenge. It's for a girl that has her birthday 1st of January and I normally make her card when we have the blog hop. It only says winter hugs on the sentiment but inside do I have a birthday sentiment as well. Maybe I should take a little photo of that as well. I'll think about that.

Anyway, I have used the image called Ice skates and it's a real cutie. I have been wanting to colour this image for a long time and now it's finally done. I have used by Promarkers to colour and have paired the sweet lady up with some Maja Design papers. The sentment stamp is from Hänglar & Wings and says winter hug.

For decorations have I used a bunch of die cuts from Magnolia, some glitter dots from Marianne Design and some wooden stars. A sheer ribbon is also used in a lovely light blue colour.

As always do we have the fabby gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with our brand. Playing with another brand you have the chance to win three digis of your choice. And this week you have a chance of winning one digi of your choice at each and everyones blog as well. You do have to comment to have a chance of winning.

So here comes the blog hop order for you. I know it's tons of blogs to visit, but it's totally up to you if you want to visit everyone or just a few of us. Anyway you should return to the main blog if you have visited all the other blogs before mine.

Here comes all the blogs to visit
Take care and do something you love!

Christmas Critters over at PFP

Morning and hello!
We have yet another new challenge for you over at Passion for Promarkers. This week's theme is set to "Christmas Critters". In other words we want to see some Christmassy animals or pets this week.

Bilden kan innehålla: text

Our sponsor is Clearly Besotted Stamps which offer one lucky winner a gift code worth £20. Isn't that amazing? You know you have to be in it, to have a chance to win it. You have to use your promarkers or their cousins in any form, like trias, like aquamarkers etc from the former Letraset brand.

For my card this week have I used an image from The Paper Shelter called Checking it twice. Isn't it funny? I love this charming pair of friends working together, and hanging together. It's really sweet in my mind.

My card design is really simple and clean with only a ribbon and a punch helping me to add some details to the card. The ribbon says let it snow but you don't see much of it. Then there is a flower punch to add some interest to the middle panel of the card. I have also added a sentiment stamp saying "God jul och gott nytt Ã¥r" in Swedish. That means Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It comes from a Hanglar and Vings' set that I bought not too long ago. It is fabby, have used it tons lately. Can it be beacause it only has winter and Christmas greetings on it? ;) The paper pad is an old one from, well that's the big question... Dove craft or Papermania maybe?

Anyway, this is all for now. I hope you take the time and play along with us. Just remember to use your Promarkers of some sort and you have a chance or so on the fabby prize up for grabs this week.

Winter or Anything goes over at Creatalicious Challenges

Morning and hello!
It's almost December and each end of the month we have a new challenge up for you over at Creatalicious challenges as well as the 15th of each month. This time we have the theme set to "Winter or as usual Anything goes".  You can enter our challenges up to three times per challenge.

This time we are sponsored by

Prize  offered is 3 digital images

We are a small creative team writing and illustrating fantasy adventure and children's books. We love to draw fun and amusing characters, and are happy to offer them to you as digital stamps. We hope you like these digital images and they help make your creations bright, interesting and memorable!

For this card have I used the very detailed image called Winter fairy. I really should have coloured with pencils for this one but force of habit got me going with the promarkers. It has bled some even if I use some heavy card for the image. I have printed the image large but the markers are not dealing well with this kind of image. Sorry about that. What however worked out great was my spica glitter marker in silver that added perfect winter details to the image as it is really sparkling nice.

The paper pad is from ScrapBerry's and is called A taste of winter. It has some lovely prints to it, even if some are a bit to detailed for me. But you can always use them as back ground prints or back drops for photos on layouts. As both the image and the papers has many details have I just used a few sequines as decorations for this card.

Anyway, even if this post is a bit low in energy I hope that you take the chance to play along with us and take the chance to win some lovely images from Fabrica Fantasy.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Blast from the past over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter as it is midweek already. This week we have the theme of "Blast from the past". An image that is more than a year old or more is a good choice for this week's theme.

I have used both an old paper pad and an old image from the Paper Shelter called Heavenly Christmas Carol. It's a favorite of mine that I dig out from time to time. It's nice and easy to colour and it always makes a lovely card. The paper pad is from My Mind's Eye and is called The merry days of Christmas. It's from waaay back, 2011 I think I saw somewere on the pad. Way back!

As I do most of the time, have I used my promarkers to colour the image. I have printed it fairly big so it takes up tons of space on my card. It should have been a little smaller but I was in no mood to fight with my printer. And as it is a theme of "A blast from the past" have I dug out a bunch of old dies / die cuts as well. For example the flower die from Magnolia, Sweden and added a rose in the middle as well. Some glimmer dots, some lace and some hemp ribbon, and a whole bunch of dies is used to finish the card off.

I do hope that you take the time to join us this week over at the Paper Shelter. Next week will be the start of our yearly blog hop and for that one I hope that you will take the time to join us. Both with a card and jump along to all of the teamies. You have a chance of winning a digi at each of our blogs as well as the challenge blog. On top of that you have the chance to win our "normal" giftvoucher worth $30 if you play along with our brand. Playing with another one gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Sparkle and Shine over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello!
Time is flying by quickly now and we are getting close to December by now. Wasn't it Easter the other week? It's dark here now during the days and I kind of long for some snow or some sun. I miss my bike and want to get some good crisp air again.

Ingen fotobeskrivning tillgänglig.

But in the meanwhile I have to settle for crafting and this week is it "Sparkle and Shine" for our theme. We are sponsored by Bugaboo and they offer a gift voucher worth $12 for one lucky winner.

For my card today have I used the cute Snowman couple. Some love is never wrong, not for snowmen either as it looks. I have added a bunch of extra hearts as I thought they looked so happy together. I thinks a mini, ministamp from Lawn Fawn that I used.

I have used a few designer papers from Dovecraft called Krafty Christmas and for some sparkle have I used the smashing green glitter cardstock from Panduro. I also used some golden cord from my stash to add some extra bling. The hearts and the carrot noses are also coloued with some glitter pens in red and orange. So even if it doesn't show that well in the photo is it a very shiny happy card.

Well then, this is it for today. I wish you a great week and I hope that you will come and join our fun, sparkling challenge this week. Take the chance to finish off one or two of those needed Christmas cards or what ever shining project you need to fininsh!

Christmas Spirit! over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
It's a new week and a new challenge up over at the Paper Shelter. We have a very fitting theme this week; Christmas Spirit! That means we want to see things related to Christmas. It should be nice and easy to play along in this challenge.

I have chosen to use a part of an image called Merry Christmas my dear! I think there is a need for more images of Mrs Christmas so I took her out to make a card with just the Mrs. She is pre coloured by Veronica from the Paper Shelter who always makes smashing colouring for her images. Have you noticed that the Paper Shelter always has matching designer papers to their images as well? Brilliant if you want to make a card quick and easy.

I have used a paper pad from Paper Mania for this card. As I have printed the image fairly large have I kept the design simple. Then I had a smashing time using a bunch of decorations for the card: ribbon, some golden bells, some mushrooms and a bunch of flowers and green stuff. Some golden glitter to add to the Christmas Spirit!

As always, we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Nice and easy to play along, right? You can enter our challenges up to three times, but at least one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on it.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas is coming over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello!
Sitting here feeling kind of sick. Started off with some lovely headache and then some sickness to my tummy. Oh yes! Great! Just what I needed. Will have to dig out the last of me for this one. Lucky for me I had a bunch of cards that is not show yet even if I made them during summer. Jepp, I know make and show is not my thing at the moment. More of make and make and pile them up and then start to wonder: Have I showed these ones already?

I hope I have not with this one. It's a Tilda from Magolia from a few years back. I totally adore the tildas. They are the cutest but I don't get the wow thing about them when it comes to making them into cards. They are small and often you need to add many details to make the card pop. Not my think at the moment.

But for this card have I actually managed to put one or two extra details to my card. I have some pearl stars, a charm, some floss of some kind and some fabby die cut snow flakes from Lawn Fawn. The card is still looking sweet in my eye even if some time has passed since I made it. ;)

Sponsoring this challenge with the theme "Christmas is coming" is Cowling & Wilcox - 6 pack of PM's (skin tones set 1)

Holly or Ivy over at the Winter wonderland

Morning and hello!
Time for another challenge card from me for this week. It's time for a new challenge over at the Winter Wonderland and the theme is set to "Use holly or/and Ivy" on your creation.

Sponsoring this challenge is Sheepski Designs

Andrea is offering 3 images of choice for the random winner.

Living in Leeds, Yorkshire in the UK, working full time as a Management Accountant, currently working on 2 design teams and an obsessive crafter and creator of cards. I have no actual style as yet but do love the unusual and quirky. I may be known for producing cards in soft pastel colours. I love anything arty. I've always drawn stuff, for as long as I can remember. In my younger days I sold a few watercolour paintings. I recently found mixed media which is a joy and love creating canvases with flowers. I had a battle with digital drawing for about a year and finally found some software I could gel with.

In January 2016 a challenge team I worked on was short of a designer's images to create with so to the crafting world, to the lovely ladies who have supported me on my journey. I've a Facebook group SheepSki Designs where I hold challenges, some for fun to win digis as well as my monthly card challenge. I've a SheepSki Designs challenge blog as well. Things are growing slowly (thankfully) so I still manage to spend at least a little time with my hubby. Welcome to my world Andrea xx

I have used Christmas candle for my card this time and have used a paper pad from Echo Park called Christmas Delivery. It's the same pad as I used for my Creatalicious card the other day. Very useful pad that is almost gone at this point. It has been fantastic. Might have to get it digital as well if I can't find the really stuff.

The card is coloured with my Letraset markers, some glitter pen and glitter glue to all of that. I have also used some white ink on a few parts of my card as I thought it all went to bright. Quite a lot of details on my card this time: pearl swirls, golden pearls, die cuts, ribbons, flowers etc. It was great fun making it and now I hope you will take the time to make a card or two and join our challenge lasting up until December starts.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Anything goes or for a male over at Creatalicious Challenges

Morning and hello!
Well, it's afternoon but I start as I always do. :) It's time for a new challenge over at Creatalicous Challenges. As always you have the chance to play along with our Anything goes challenge and this time with the option For a male. Our generous sponsor for this challenge is

is offering 2 images of winner's choice

Welcome to the brilliantly bizarre brain of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  Here you will find monsters, aliens, odd balls and Dundertons as well as many many more wonderful digital stamps for the crafter with a sense of humour.

My card is made up with the fabby image called Ambrose Dunderton. Just like all the images from Dr Digis house of stamps this is a joy to colour. I love these fun and charming images and the card made with these images is always a hit. I have used my promarkers to colour with and I have actually used a paper pad with a Christmas theme. I have some left overs from it and I might even get a card or two more out of with with non Christmas theme and a card or two with Christmas on it as well.

As I have an kind of huge stash of dots of all kinds; enamel , card candy etc I try to use some of them up from time to time, even if it I love to have all of them left. I never seem to have the right colours left, that's why I want to keep them all. :) I have also used some really thin drawing paper, kind of like vellum, but a bit thiner and some jute ribbon from my stash to keep the card going. Nice and simple, just as I like it at the moment.

Anyway, I hope you take some time and come and join our fun for this two week long challenge. It's always anything goes and then an option if you wish for more of a challenge.

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Love n hugs

Marie
