Weddings or anything goes over at Creatalicious Challenges

Morning and hello
Hope you are all doing fine and enjoy life as it is at the moment. At least some extra time for crafting, right? It's time for a new fun challenge over at Creatalicious Challenges starting today. We have the theme set to Weddings or Anything goes.

I thought I would give the wedding theme a try but I don't know any who's getting married at this point. Oh well, you can always practise your skills. I have used a wedding couple from Magnolia, Sweden. I have had that stamp for at least 6 year or so and never used it. So about time right?

Anyway, it was fun to colour the couple and it gave me some relaxation from my splitting headaches. It's a terrible time for me at the moment. Way to much trouble with my meds, but I need to give it a little more time. So I am sure that it won't or will work. It's great for removing my joint pain, but instead we give you headaches from hell. Kind of were we are at this time.

Ok, back to the card. I have chosen to work with the paper pad from Pink Paislee again, It's called Indigo and Ivy. Very lovely colours in blue, brown and green. I kept it simple and just added some golden ribbon to the mix. I have used a Martha Stewart punch with hearts so spread some loving feeling. :)

We are sponsored by the lovely CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. A a gift voucher worth $15 is up for grabs.

Well my friends, it's time for me to fininsh this post and let you off to create.

Take good care and do some thing that makes you happy! You deserve it!

Love n hugs

Flowers of spring over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
It´s already time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter. This week we're having the theme of "Flowers of Spring". That means we want to see some flower on your creation, either as the image or as decorations, or on the designer papers.

You can play along with our challenge up to three times, and one of these do you have to use a Paper Shelter image. However, you always have the chance to win over at our challenge. Playing with another brand gives you the chance to win three digis of your choise. Playing with our challenge gives you the chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30.

I have for my creation this week used the fabby image called Little Flower Lady. She is one of the newer  images in the shop. She is smashing fun to colour and I will for sure use this fantastic image some more. I was colouring this image when it was fairly dark so her cheaks got really rosy, but hey the spring sun can be strong, right?

The paper pad I have used is from Pink Paisley and the collection called, well that has slipped my mind, again. It's tons of lovely rich colour and cold accents in this pad. A happy pad that's for sure. I have used a bunch of dies for this card: magnolia dies for flowers, and the leafs I think are joy crafts. They are wonderful. I adore them. There is some sequines used as the flower centers, a golden ribbon over the middle panel and the border die I have used is from Lawn Fawn.

Take good care everyone and do something you enjoy in this strange time of ours.

Love n hugs

Bunnies or Chicks over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers again. This is a lovely theme and it's set to "Bunnies and/or Chicks" as we are getting close to Easter already.

Ingen fotobeskrivning tillgänglig.
Or sponsor this week is All dressed up
They are offering one lucky winner a prize of 2 images for winners choice.
Thank you for sponsoring us!

My image is coloured with my Promarkers, and it's called Easter Bunny and you have to use yours markers to have a chance on winning this weeks prize. I went for an Easter/Spring feeling for this card and have used a Me to you paper pad from when I started to make cards about 10 -12 years ago. I bought more than one pack of those and I still have one unopened.

I kind of went back to classic look as I have used a bunch of flowers from my stash as well. A ribbon with a bow and a butterfly charm. There is also some buttons from my stash that is used for this card. They where perfect with with the space from the different panels. A great fun card to make. It's cute! I love making Easter cards even if I never send any, but great fun to make them.

Take care everyone and do something that makes you happy!

Just for fun nr 4

 Morning and hello!
Time for a new card from me during a bit of tired week here at the blog. I have so many card that I have not show here yet so I thought I could show them those weeks when I don't have as much going on.

This image is from Tiddly Inks if I remember correctly. It was nice and fun to colour. I have used the lovely paper pad called  Hello Spring or something like that. I have used some little left over stuff on this card. Like the buttons, the die cut flowers, some enamel hearts and a ribbon. I like to use many layers on my card and this one is no exception. If I count right I have about 10 layers on this card. Over the card have I made some splatter all over the card with white ink. It's nice fun to use.

Anyway, I hope you like my card and that will inspire you to make a card of your own.

Love n hugs

Just for fun nr 3

Morning and hello!

It's time for a new card from me again, and it's not for any special design team or so, just because it's fun. I have been doing some digging in my rubber stamps and I do have quite an bunch of them, never used. I can't believe how much money I have spent on them without using them. It's totally silly so here we go. This one is from the special collection from year 2012 if I remember correctly.

This one has Tilda and a cute coala in her arms. Aren't they cute. Why have I not used this one before? I will probably make a card or two more with this stamp and then stash it way again. They are coloured with promarkers and a few layers from the paper pad Ivy and ? I can't remember the full namn. That comes with my on going depression, it's hard to find words and to connect one dot to another. Anyway, the sentĂment is made with a sentiment stamp from Hanglar Stanglar. And to have something happening on my card have I added two pieces of ribbon with dots.

A quite clean card, still with lots of layers. My way to go, I love layers, best way to build a card. Take good care everyone and do something you enjoy!

Circle it over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter. Our theme this week is Circle it! Which simply means we want to see some round element/s on your creation. Nice and easy, probably easier than you think. ;)

I have used the lovely image called Emily for my card. I have coloured with my promarkers and then fussy cut the whole thing. Found an unused paper pad called Forest Blooms and used it for my card. I went for a circle card for this one and used a few spellbinder dies as well as some from Lawn Fawn for the circles.

I have also used a bunch of flowers (guess the shape) and some fun leafy things from my stash. There is also a border die from Lawn Fawn used but I have managed to cover everything up.

Sorry about the really short post today but I have a full week and are not feeling too well at the moment, so sweet and short once again.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Make it feminine over at Passion For Promarkers

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week we have the theme of "Make it Feminine". So a girly card to make this week.

profile photo
We are sponsored by the lovely people over at JMC that is offer one lucky winner a digital set. Thank you so much for that!

For my card have I used the fun and lovely Edna from JMC Designs. A fun and charming burdie that really lovelys to flaunt her feathers! Well then, my Edna loves colours as much as I do so she prefere to have here pastel clothes on and match them with some classic coloured designer papers in pink and grey. Some flowers to that and she is ready to rock n roll. The tiny sentiment says "Gulle dig" in Swedish and the sentiment is from Hanglar Stanglar. Meaning something like "you're a cutie".

Ok then, I think this will be it for today as I have terrible headache again and just want to lay down and don't move an inch more today.

Take care everyone and do something that you enjoy!

Blue Christmas over at Winter Wonderland

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at the Winter Wonderland. I know it's crazy but we are already in March challenge and it's set to "Blue Christmas". Make sure you add some blue to your creation and you should be fine. In this case more is less. :)

Everything that you ever wanted to know about Bugaboo Stamps - a short essay!
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadians toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was seven years ago.
Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images and we're still growing!  From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.

Jodie works hard to provide new releases and freebies every week!

And the prize on offer for our lucky winner is:

$12 gift code to spend in the Bugaboo Stamps store

For my card have I used the image called Snowman Winter and coloured with my promarkers. I have also used some Nuvo Glacier Paste on my card. And it sparkles and it shines and then starts over again. I had to remove some from the card as got so intense. I think I should keep the paste for my scrapbooking LO's but you never know. The stencil is from the Hip Kit Club.

The paper pad I have used is from Lawn Fawn and is called Perfectly Plaid Winter. I have used some more of the shimmer/glittery stuff around my card for a little snow effect. It's really, really thin and I added it with my fingers. Then it's all off set for a funky feeling.

So now it's your turn to create and have fun. We want something christmassy blue for this challenge and as it's a nice colour to work with you all should have fun!

Take care and see you all over at Winter Wonderland!

Just for fun nr 2 in March

Morning and hello!
This week is kind of slow when it comes to posts here on my blog so I thought I would show off a few of my card that I made during the winter for no reason at all. Or rather because it's fun to craft at the moment. It makes it me feel good and relaxed.

The designer papers on this creations are left overs from Echo park and some other paper pads. I think most are from different collection of the dots and lines from Echo Park. There is probably a few other pads in there too.

The image is from Sassy Cheeryls which now have closed their store, which is really say. Happy I have collection of images I really love from here and then I just sit here and hope that you will have an image or two on sale again. I have tide a little ribbon in a lovely aqua colour for a great touch. Then there is some card candy both as decorations and acting like brads to keep the little black and white dotted details on the image. The border is made with lille borders from Lawn Fawn. I just love that die.

Well, take care everyone and do something that makes you happy!

Just for fun

Morning and hello!
Marie here again. This is a slow week here on my blog normally. I thought I change that by show off a few cards that is made the last few months. These stamps are from Lawn Fawn and one of their newer relizes. I love these cute little mices and the fun little notes that get typed by the type writer.

This is kind of the perfect kind of card to make as you can use up your scraps in a good way. The white and blue stripe is a left over from another card I made earlier and instead of throwing it way it became a great looking detail on my card. I think I will have a card a few more of these coming up during the year, and in many versions as well I hope.

I have coloured with my promarkers once again and it looks smashing on these little ones. You can even use only one shade of the chosen colour and it still looks ok. I have used a few circles with stitches for some more details on this card and some foam dots as well. Just to add some dimension to the fabby card.

Well my friends, there will be two more cards coming up this week. I hope you will drop by then as I would love to see you here and maybe leave a little foot print in the sand.

Take care everyone and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie
