Christmas Cheer 2-2021

Morning and hello!
It's the last day of the month and my little series of Christmas cards keeps going. One X-mas card each month, but as it looks now I will have plenty more of these cards to show.

This card is made of a run away image. It was totally lost when I should have used it. Could not find it and I looked for it everywhere. Then when I have remade the colouring of the image and finished a new card it suddenly appeared again. Well, it was a few weeks after the second one was on the blog. So here is one more card with this lovely image.

I think that the paper pad is from My Minds Eye. I am not totally sure, it could be a Basic Grey as well, but probably My Minds Eye. I choose an easy and clean design for this one. I added some gem stones in gold to the corners. In the pattern on the bulb have I used some red half pearls. As a final touch did I add a wonderful ribbon and tied a bow with it and arranged it on the hanging device of the bulb. I am really happy about the ribbon touch of this card. :)

Anyway, I know it's the end of February but it's nice to have the Christmas cards going already. I think I will have tons of Christmas cards for the coming year.

Take good care and do something that you enjoy!

Just for fun 8-2021

Morning and hello!
My last two cards of my little series of mini cards for this time. It has been fun to make them and use up some of all those stuff that you always think you will use and then never get to it because there is always new fabby stuff to buy and use for a while. Then they get stored and new things come along...

This card is made with Maja Design papers and some fabby stars made of some jute. I am pretty sure that they are Simple stories. I love this one. It's perfect with it's colours and clean design.

This last one is made with a blue back ground from Maja Design and the rest from Pink paisley, I believe that it's from two different collections. The enamel hears are from Marianne Design.

Take care and make something of your scrappy left overs!

Clean and simple over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
It's Wednesday again and today are we going clean and simple over at the Paper Shelter. Gosh! It's not as easy as it seems. I had a different plan for this card but my finished card looks even better than I think my original idea, at least am I very pleased with it.

I have used an image from 2016 called SWAG. It's a great boy image and I have used it before even if it was ages ago. It's great fun to colour and fairly easy to fussy cut as well, or maybe I just had a good day.

The background is made with a stencil from Card Deco and some distress ink in the colour Crackling Campfire. I have used it on a smooth Bazill card stock which works fine when you don't have any water on it. The image is popped up on foam dots and that gives the card a bit of dimension. Love that! The black card base is great to this creation and I have put a white panel inside with a die cut that says Congratulations.

Any brand is welcome and but playing with our brand gives you the chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

Well then this is all from me for today. Take care and do come and play with us over at the Paper Shelter this week.

Just for fun 7-2021

Morning and hello!
Part three of this mini card collection. I am still working with my left overs from Maja Design and Pink paisley mini pads.

The flower paper is from Hip Kit Club but I am not sure what brand it is. It's a left over from one of my lay outs. Here have I also pieced together some letters as I missed out of "A:s" in this case.

This card is also Maja Design in the back ground and the rest is from Whimsical collection from Pink Paisley. A perfect little something when you want something little to your flowers or cheering someone up. And I feel grateful because I can use up some small scraps.

Take good care and do make something of your old scraps!

Use three or more designer papers over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
Time for team 1 to inspire you again over at Passion for Markers. You have noticed that we are now open to all kinds of markers, have you?
We have a new fun challenge up for you all to play along with. This weeks theme is set to "Three or more designer papers". A nice and easy one.

We are sponsored by the lovely people over at Dies to die for who offer one lucky winner a gift voucher worth £15. How great isn't that?

I have been digging in my stash once again. Well, I did around the New Year and picked out a bunch of stamps to use during the year and then I decide if I should keep them or not. Well, so far are my stamps staying even if I mostly enjoy my digis now.

This one is an old Tilda stamp from an Easter collection from Magnolia, Sweden. I have paired her up with some designer papers from Lawn Fawn (Spring Fling and Speckles). I have also found a few old decorations that I thought I could put to use. Prima Flowers, heart shaped gemstones and two different kind of ribbons. The small one is from Panduro. The flower has actually got a brad in the center. The leaf is from a Joy craft's die and so is the butterfly. And then the new stuff, Nuvo drops in three colours. I have also used a glitter pen from Spectrum Noir.

Ok this is all from me for this lovely winter day. I hope you will take some time and come and play with us over at Passion for Markers.

Just for fun 6-2021

Morning and hello!
Here is second part of my mini card series. It feels good that I have managed to use up some of these tiny left overs and mini papers. Other tiny stuff that has just a few piece left over comes to use here as well. Like the enamel dots.

The back paper for this card is from Maja Design and the other papers are from a mini paper pad from Pink Paisley. This might be used as a cheer up in a bouquet of flowers, or may be when the kids have sold something to earn money for their sport club or something like that. It makes it a little extra for the buyer.

This one does also have a Maja design back ground and Pink Paisley for the sentiment. The orange dotted piece is probably form Echo Park or Lawn Fawn. The enamel stars are from Marianne Design.

Hope I have brought you some inspiration for your good old scraps!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs

Decorate it! over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
It's Wednesday and time for a dt-creation for the Paper Shelter. This week's theme is set to "Decorate it" so it is easy and fun to play along with us this week.

Any brand is welcome and playing with our brand gives you the chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

I have used an old image yet again, I used it in December as well and since I had a few of them coloured I decided to use one of them. My hands and arms are acting up quite badly at the moment. so colouring is not the best of things to keep busy with. The image is called Angel and are an old favourite of mine.

I have paired her up with some lovely designer papers from Maja design. The paper pad is called Miles  apart. It's filled with lovely designer papers in wonderful colours and patterns. I went with brown and light pinks for this card and used a lovely sketch I found somewhere on line. I used a few flowers and leaf to decorate the card with. I also dug out some old brown heart shaped pearls. I tied a bow with a thin ribbon in gold.

Some "pearls" made with Nuvo drops in pale gold and morning dew finished the card off together with some golden splatters. Do always put the splatters on before you add your image. Just a tip from me to you! 😃

Anyway, this is all from me for now. Time for some rest for my back and hands again. Take good care and do something that makes you happy.

Just for fun 5-2021

Morning and hello!
This month's Just for Fun cards is a bunch of mini cards. A size fitting for a bouquet of flowers or a little gift when you visit someone. The size isn't bigger than 7,5 x 7,5 cm.

This card has a flower base with Maja design papers and then some tiny papers from Pink Paisley I think.

My cards are made with left overs from different papers from bigger cards and from some mini pads that Pink Paisley has made for some of their collections. I have tons of these mini papers left and they are really sturdy, like card board almost. I am not very fond of them but as I have them I will use them. ☺

This blue card is made with left overs from Maja design, Denim and Friends. I made tons of lovely cards with this collection. The puffy letters are from Hip Kit Club.

Hope you find some inspiration to use up some left overs!

Love n hugs

Dies and or punches over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
It's Tuesday again and time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers, former known as Passion for Promarkers. We are now open to all markers out there. I is my turn to set the theme and I have chosen to go with the theme of "Dies and/or Punches".

This week do we have Di digital stamps as a sponsor and they are offering a gift voucher worth $6 to one lucky winner.

For my card this week have I used one of the lovely hippos from hÄnglar and Wings. This one is from the set called "Harry and Hedvig i fjällen". Hedvig is coloured with a mix of markers (Copics, Spectrum and promarkers). I have matched this darling with some designer papers from Maja design. Vintage Frost Basic is the name of the pad.

And then to all the dies I have used. All panels are cut with squares of different look from PY Hobby and Crealies. I have been doing some "masked" cutting to get the same look all over the card. The border dies are from Spellbinders as well as the ovals. I believe that I have cut the snow flakes with Marianne dies from two different sets.

The rest of my decorations are some snow paste, gem stone stars from my stash as well as a lace and ribbons. To finish it all off have I used some Nuvo Drops in three colours and some glitter from the same brand. I have also used a Nuvo glitter pen on Hedvig's clothes.

Well then. All from me for today. I hope you will come and play with us over at Passion for Markers this week.

Love n hugs
