Christmas Cheers 6-23

Morning and hello!
It is Christmas time here on my blog again. Second time this month. It is so much fun to create for Christmas and now do I have another card for you to share with me.

This image is really old and I love it. It is an image that I have had since 2009 or 2010 and it is kind of my start of stamping more regular than I used to. I am not really sure what brand it is but it could be Sugar Nellie or something like that that. Anyway I am glad that I dug it out from my stash again. I should use the oldies more often. I have a huge stash with images that is never used and it is terrible. What a waist. I have to do something about that shouldn't I?

Well then, I have coloured with my promarkers and used the fabby paper pad from Crafters companion Northern Winter or something like that. I have used up some of my gemstones and used them in the center of my snow flakes that is cut of different dies. I have also used a glittery lace cut with a die from Magnolia I believe. (I really should write down what I have used on my cards shouldn't I? ) The heart is also a die cut layered up 5 or 6 times so it is like a chip board piece.

Have a great day and don't forget to work on your christmas card stash. You will need it sooner than later. :)

Just 4 fun 6-23

Morning and hello!
Hi! I am back again with a new creation. Once again have I used a fabby image from hÄnglar and Wings. This one is from the set called Korta Meddelare. A set with two people images and three sentiments.

I have paired this image up with designer papers from Simple Stories. But I can't for my life remember the name of the pad. I love the fabby colours of the pad, it is amazing this paper pad. Simple Stories have really stepped up a bunch of steps. Every single collection is amazing!

I have added a grey ribbon with a bow to give the card some texture. I have also added a bunch of flowers with leafs and some pearls. The sentiment says congrats in Swedish. I have also used a bunch of gemstone stars that add some details to the card.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheer 8-22

Morning and hello!
A brand-new day has started, and we are already at the end of August. The kids are back in school, and routines starts to come back to life again. As good as it is to be on holiday as good is it to get back to normal again.

I have spent some time with my Christmas stash and have created a card for the coming holidays. Once again did I end up with a stamp from Hänglar and Wings. They are my happy place at this point. It has really lasted for a long time by now.

This cutie is from the set called Pepparkakor 2020. It's a set of two bigger images, two smaller ones and some sentiments. I have paired this sweetie with some designer papers from Poland if I remember correctly. I don't have the pad close to me at this point. I love the paper in the background. Such smashing colours and an especially useful pattern to that.

I have decorated with some doilies, some gemstones, a charm, and flowers from my stash. I am happy about how this card turned out. A big bow finishes my card off.

Okie my friends, time to finish for this time. I see you all soon again. More Christmas creations will soon come your way!

Just 4 Fun 21-22

Morning and hello!
After a more silent period from me here on the blog am I back again with a Just 4 Fun card.. I made this during Easter time but didn't have the energy to post it. It's a hÄnglar and Wings image from Last year that I have coloured up again. I love how the trousers ended up.

I have paired some Echo park papers together with Lawn Fawn papers. They matched up good when it came to colours. I had fun colouring with Copic markers as well as some Promarkers.

I dug out some flowers from my stash as well as some ribbon and then added some Nuvo drops to that. Those drops are used a lot on my cards. They are easy to use and even if they have some drying time are they nice to use.

Well, this is all from me for today. Whish you a great day and do take some time to create!

Snow and ice at Christmas time

Good afternoon everyone! I am back again, having a little break from the on going dt-call work over at the Paper Shelter to give you some new inspiration from the Crafty Card Maker's design team. Still quite stable when it comes to my shoulder and neck pain. Can it be cause I phoned the doctor? LoL Had a dentist appointment today and got the whole mouth cleaned up with a splitting headache as the prize for that. Oh well, it will pass. And got tons of painkiller...

My card then, because I actually managed to make on this time. I am so happy about that. Hate to let my teams down. Well, I had to make two cards as my first one wasn't Christmassy enough and therefore  something in a style I normally wouldn't use on my cards as my first love is coloring, not the card making it self. Why I don't paint pictures instead? Well, it takes to long and I am easily bored. LoL I used to paint in oil and has taken a few classes. The last one was different and we had to paint with really broad brushes. I think I lost the join and old technic there. Maybe it comes back to me who knows?

The image is from IndigoBlu. They have some fantastic stamps and I love this even if it's just first time out and I bought it way before last Christmas. I think I will use it a few more time this year as the cards get done really fast and I don't have to colour with my bad shoulder, on the other had the stamp is big and need it's strength to give a good print.

I have embossed the image in detail white embossing poweder that has been laying around for ages. For the extra snowing effect I used some of the Frantage embossing enamel and some champagne flakes. Maybe I over did it a bit, but hey it was my first time and it was fun. You actually should try it out yourself sometime. Also don't forget to take a look at what my fellow teamies has been up to. You will be singing Christmas carols any minute now. :)
