Good evening, a short little note from me. I kind of what to get of the computer for an hour or so, so that I can get back on it a little later to write some more for tomorrow. I just need a break from it before that. LoL
I found a card that I have not gotten up here yet and since the challenge over at Just Magnolia is Anything goes with the option of swirls and pearls I thought I could enter that challenge with this little card. I have use a lovely Tilda that I believe is called Tilda with Tulips. The designer papers are from Basic Grey, Wisteria Lane. Lovely combo of lilacs, green, grey and blue.
Sweet little Tilda is coloured with my normal Letraset family. Flowers from WOC. Film strip from Tim Holtz, pearls from Bunny Zoe.
Now time for CSI on the telly. See you later!
Love n hugs

A Magnolia card...
Happy Monday! Cheerful hey? I know, a gal can pretend you know. But it feels really good to be home alone today. Head ace and so tired that I hardly know my own name. I've tried to stay awake for as long as I could now. Just thought that I would blog this card of mine first. Then a little nap.
Last night I inked up this dancing Tilda that has been living in my big box of unused Magnolias. It was time one of them saw the daylight so here she is. For some reason, don't ask me why have I coloured with my flexmarkers. I guess it's good that they get to work as well. And it was so fun using a brush again. Really should get out of that Marker's comfort zone a bit more often.
Miss Tilda is paired up with some papers from Bearly Mine Design. They are from the Just Plain set and from the Lacey Vintage Dream. A piece of scrap is also used. Flowers are a mix from I am Roses, Wild Orchid Crafts and Kort og gotd. Lace and metal corners are also from WOC. Tons of chrystal stickles and some die cuts made with Magnolia dies finish this creation off.

More Magnolia birthdays
Here comes another one of my coloured Tildas that I made when I was in the hospital in January. I guess that so far is that the only good that have came out of it. No, that is not fair but I do have a lot of pain, very often. Not when I walk but afterwards. Bl---y h--l! No fun to be me then. I'm of to see the doctor tomorrow and hope he can help me out. He really needs to check on my foot as well as I believe I have much of my leg trouble coming from it.
Back to the fun part, card making. I was practising colouring at the hospital when I couldn't sleep. And this is one of the gals that made it from the cut how to speak. I tried to colour blond hair as it isn't my colour but now I think I start to get the hang of it.
I know that most little gals wants their cards pink, but my own favourite colour is blue so every now and then I need to colour in blue. At least I took some designer papers that have both pink and blue on them. They are from the Wild Rose Studio. I also have a heart shaped doily under all the flowers together with some spiraly things from the Magnolia shop that I visited last weekend. Went to see my brother then and while we wasn't far away from Borås then, we passed by there. I think I have to go back there soon again. Both to my brother with girl friend and to Borås. Thank you for the most wonderful weekend in a really long time both of you! It was great!
As always when we have been away the kids get sick. First we had them home with colds, we thought. Now it has moved on to chickenpox for the youngest one and the oldest is probably following in his foot step. So much fun! Not!

Another Magnolia birthday card
Hello there!
Monday evening and the kids are playing a bit before it's time to go to bed. Have had one of the boys home from day care today as he wasn't too well last night. Seams to be better now but we hang out tomorrow as well. We spent the day making a LO with so much glitter that I wonder if it will ever dry. Of some reason he thinks that all LO's should be covered in glitter. Oh, well it's his LO and it will be fun to hear what he thinks of it in 10 years or so.
My card, I must stop treating this blog as a letter. I write way to much, every time! LoL A sweet looking Tilda that I don't remember what she is called. I coloured her up when I was at the hospital. Well, I coloured a whole bunch of these Tildas so there will be more cards with her in the future. The designer papers are from Prima. Everything else from my stash.

A little birthday card
Hello there! I am back with a little Magnolia birthday card. It seams to be a clutter of birthday parties at the kids day care at the moment so. Many cards for little kids are required from my boys. This one ordered by W. needed to be pink as all about his friend seamed to be pink when I asked him. :)
So I have followed the sketch over at Just Magnolia Hänglar Stänglar. I still have not found the right card making inspiration after my surgery and every thing goes so slow. Ok, back to the card... used a little cute Tilda with present, an old text from Magnolia as well. Designer papers are from Prima, perfect for kids. The big flower is a mix and match from my stash. Leaves are made with a Doo Hickey die and so is the tag, swirl is a Marianne die.
Sorry about the crappy photo. The snow is coming down like crazy here today. It's just because I'm still using crutches I promise. LoL

Time for Passion for Promarkers
Good Evening to you all! It's pooring down rain here today. So dark and wet. Shouldn't it be snow that comes down by now? Oh well, to a contrast to all darkness outside; Passion for Promarkers has the theme of White on White this week. Thought I would enter that one, as well as Just Magnolia Hänglar Stänglar which has the theme of ribbons.
A lot of embossing to get some contrast again. I have used snowflakes and Swiss dots. There is also a bunch of dies used from Magnolia as well. Two big brads with pearls on them is center pieces in the flowers, and around the used Marianne die I put even more pearls from dimension. In the back ground a silver grey and white ribbon from Joanna Sheen.
Enjoy your evening!

A Magnolia card for a birthday boy
Hi there! Sitting here while the kids are toring the house down. It sounds like it anyway. Promissed them a surprise if they could leave me alone for as long as it takes me to finish this off. At the moment it doesn't sound so good. Home alone with the little monsters until Sunday when my partner in "crime" gets back home from a buisness trip. At the moment if feels like he will be gone forever. Of corse my bXXXXX body woun't play fair with me either, so on top of being alone, I have pain that I don't even wish for my worst enemy.
The insides upper part of the card.
So as my olders is going to a five year olds birthday party on Sunday and W didn't want to make the card this time I have spend the day working with it between contacting doctors of all kinds.
Here is the inside that will be completed with a white circle to write on, when I have figured out what to write. A few days left to do that. :)
Have used soccer Edwin and the goal scenery from the Winner takes it all collection. Coloured the little guy in the local teams colours. Used the Magnolia soccer designer paper together with another green one that is abit older. Raised the laces inside the card, but made them flat outside not to take the focos from the main image. And I kind of needed the space. :) Now I just need to write down the birthday greeting and maybe add another "5" on the inside. I play along with the Just Magnolia Hänglar challenges witch is distressing this week and at the TOMIC challenge the theme is set to sporty + a sketch. Thanks for that theme, I had a hard time trying to figure out what to do for one the best buddies in W's life at this point.

A rainy day
and what is better than stay inside to craft a bit? Started the day with a work out at the gym and then crafting a few cards that has been half done for a while now. Felt good to finish them and then go on to something that I have wanted to do for a long time but hadn't had any time for; enter a Magnolia challenge. As I am a sucker for good sketches I just had to be in this challenge. LoL
So I have used one of my fave Magnolias. This one is so adorable. Coloured her with my letraset gang. Put the card together with DP from Basic Grey, flowers, lace and metal corners from Wild Orchid, a heart charm from Pagonia. Some golden rod stickles and I was done. :) Well after adding a few pearls that is. These ones come from Stämpelgården.

A Magnolia card
Here I am again - another card to show of. Going a way for a few days so it will be quiet here in my blog so I thought I do a little posting tonight.
I felt it was a long time since I made a magnolia card and this particular stamp have I never used. It has actually not been in my hands for that long even if it's a bit old. One of the faves when it comes to Edwin. I have paired him up with DP from Bearly Mine's, the digi set called Christmas Wishes. The sentiment stamp is from Magnolia too. Flowers made with a Magnolia die as well. The little guy is coloured with my normal promarkers/triamarkers.

I still have a bunch of unshown cards...
...and while I still remember which ones they are, I love to share one with you today. This one is one of the cards I made for my boy's teachers. Since I plan to enter the card to the challenge over at Just Magnolia, just hänglar Stänglar and they have and open theme with the option shabby chick, I thought this card will do. No shabby chick as I have used far to bright clean colours for that. :)
I have paired up Tilda celebrating Midsummer with an old strawberry image that I adore. There is nothing that says Midsummar as those lovely berries. It's coloured with distress inks. The DP are from Maja Design "Lantliv". Flowers from wild Orchid crafts and pearls from BunnyZon as always. A die-namic border die as also used. I so love that one. Magnolia heart swirl is also on there somewhere. Strawberrie charm from Pagoni.
Well this is it for now. See you around!

A work in progress
About a month ago did my baby brother got his second kid, a little girl that I (we) still have to meet for the first time. Having colds all the time is not the best to have when you meet a tiny kid for the first time. Now I have finally managed to get a little card together for her, and one for her big brother. It was still in drying process when I took the picture. :) It has taken forever to put this card together. Still not very pleased with it, I just don't know why it feels wrong!
I have used DP from Bearly Mine Design and paired them up with the über cute baby Tilda from Magnolia. As the theme over at Passion For Promarkers is Let it Shine. A few bling stones is used as well as Chrystal glitter from Rangers. A clear Spica pen is used on the wings. Flowers as usually from Wild Orchid Craft. I've used the sketch from Paper Take Weekly, and over at Just Magnolia hÄnglar StÄnglar the theme is "Going Dotty"

The result of not being able to sleep
Marie here again, tired and grumpy. The knee and my hands as well is killing me and nothing helps to take the pain away. So what to do? Up in the middle of the night and do some colouring to take my mind of the pain. So this is what I ended up with.
I had a clean up in the closet where I keep some of my stash and this is all left overs from old cards. The only thing they have in common is that all the designer papers are from Magnolia. Didn't know that I had so much of them! :) I hardly ever use them, cause I never seem to get a good card out from them. I'm not that thrilled over this one either exept the colouring. I decided to try to give the aquamarkers a new chance and suddenly everything came together. These markers will stay here, I thought of giving them away before this. The image is also from Magnolia, one of the cute little Pirate Tildas, never used her before. Used some mesh as a fishing new and a few buttons and charms for some catch. A little blue and white bakers twine, chandeler and some bling stones found laying around in the mess. This is what I came up with. It's way too much sun outside today, the snow gives a very strange light around here. I have to practise my photoskills to be able to take better pictures for this poor blog. :)
I have followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers looking like this
I am entering the card to these challenges
* Passion for Promarkers - Anything goes
* Friday Sketchers - The sketch
* Just Magnolia & Hanglar - Anything goes
So with this said, I think I go and take little time to rest infront of the TV. It's very calm around here today as the kids are back at kindergarten and Mats took them there. Way too far for me to walk when I have this pain. They have moved the kids to a dífferent KG during the holiday season, instead of 300 metres, I have to walk 1500 metres each way. No thank you! Next week back to normal again.
For now
love n' hugs,
Marie

Good evening!
One day early in the morning the next late evening. No order of anything around here. Spent the day in a meeting and are really tired. But hopefully I will soon have some meaningful to do during the days. Not even I can spend the whole days making cards - in the end it would be boring. Well I have to wait and see what will come out of this meeting held today but now do the social insurance office and the employment office work for me for a while. I've been running to their meetings and answering all papers they have sent in while I have been on sick leave. Time to get a life and get away from home a little more. Have been home for more than four years now, time to start living. :)
So the reason for this posting, another card of course. A really simple one, but I did follow the sketch at Everybody-Art-Challenge perfectly. I just wasn't in the mood for tons of decorations. This dp from Bearly Mine is one of my favourites all time and I could use it all the time probably. Didn't want to cover it up too much, so plain and simple it is.
Have to buy some more of that webby thing from BunnyZoe. Kind of have run out of it now. I gives such lovely cover up without covering everything up. :) The other ribbon is from Wild Orchid Craft and started of as white. I kind of gave it a cover with my Aquamarkers and it got a lovely brown shade. It's actually the same pen I've used for the colouring of the lovely Tilda from last years Christmas collection from Magnolia. One pen only used here. I'm so proud of me! :)I had the patient to finally wait a little longer for the colours to actually dry, and then go over it again. Much more effective, but very stressful as I want it to dry fast. You know so you can go on with the colouring...
The reason for this sepia colour then? Well, Passion for Promarkers has this week the theme of "Old photos" so it's up to you to chose if you want to go black and white or sepia. I am also entering this card to the challenge at "Just Magnolia" where the theme this week is "everything goes with the option of beads". I don't know if my half pearls counts as pearls but it was optional so in it goes.
You don't forget that the new designer papers from Bearly Mine Designs goes on line on Friday 12th, do you? It's called Christmas Dreams and is filled with wonderful papers for all those Christmas cards that you have to do. This paper is from another set though called Christmas Delight.

OK, I better stop talking and get this thing posted and then go to bed. Tomorrow it's time to see a new doctor. A bit nervous but I chosed it myself, and I really need to get a few blood tests done, and o boy do I hate that or what? Feel sick just thinking about it. Didn't get better when the nurse I was talking to and who will do the bloody thing to me sounded a bit confused. Just what I need to feel calm. I'll be back if I survive this appointment. ;)
Take care each and every one of you!
Hugs,
Marie

A little Magnolia card
Today I've been playing with Tilda again. This is one of my favorite images from Magnolia. It's fun to colour and she is really sweet. I've coloured her with the Aquamarkers from Letraset. A little learning process but I'm getting there. The battery in my camera is running low and won't focus, so the picture is a bit blurry. Sorry...
I've used the sketch from Just Magnolia, theme from Winter Wonderland (All I want for Christmas) and from Bah! Humbug! (Charms). Lovely to be able to take part in a few challenges at once again.
Soon will the "wood man" come and deliver some loggs for the winter, so we kind of know what we have to do around here during the weekend. :) And I have to empty my craft room as well as my brother will probably show up next week and tear the basement room down. I will really miss my little place. Now I have to do something I can call a crafting room up here. The kids need a bigger place to play at and my old crafting space is the best place, unlucky for me. Hope they grow up fast so I can get it back. :):)
Take care and enjoy your evening.
Hugs

One card, and a few challenges again
Never thought that I would be able to make any cards this week, but one is done and it fits into a few challenges out there. Limited time for the coming three weeks, but I miss my card making so I try to get one or two together at least.
I have three weeks of working out at the hospital during the whole days now and it's great! I know that I have a body that is alive again. :) And I am really tired, and in a good way for the first time in very long. Love that! Hope I can find a bit of the old me again. But now to the challenges.
First out it Just Magnolia monthly challenge which is to make a tent card, then there is flower power over at CupCake Craft Challenges and Quixotic Challenges which have "Leave it out" as a theme. A good match over there as well as the whole DP from 300dpi.com is covered with them, as well as I have put a few ones around the flower.

I coloured with different kind of inks and done a lot of cutting. I've used three Magnolia stamps on this card, all from the animal and pet collection from last year. The flowers are from Prima, leaf punch from McGill, brads from Papermania and the DP from DCWV as I told before. It's their digi store that is called 300dpi. The paper is from the collection "Songbird".
Well all friends out there. Time to rest and relax infront of the TV for a while and then early to bed tonight. Long day tomorrow as well.
Have a good evening!
Hugs,
Marie

This is what it looks like outside today...
Everything covered in snow. Very cosy but today I did't like it at all. Mostly because I had to clean it all away from the drive way. My partner in crime is away and work and I had to deal with it all by myself. Heavy work! Real workout.
In the end I have manage to make a card for this weeks challenge at Just Magnolia. The theme is "It's christmas". So here comes my little Tilda card filled with flowers from Prima, golden half pearls and tiny ones in white, painted with distress inks, some stickles from Ranger, DP by DCWV I think and this is the result. I borrowed the sketch from Friday Sketchers since it was a nice one to work with, I kind of hope I will be able to make another one for entering there later tonight, after take it easy infront of the fire for a while first. Love that, it's the best part of the winter season... :)
Have a good evening everyone!
Hugs and take care,
Marie

Another Just Magnolia Challenge (Week 31)
Hi everyone!
Took some time of all of my laundry that has to get ironed and made a card instead. So much more fun! :) Today I made a card using this sweet little snowman, and I got some help again. Tage, my blue and white cat decided that it was time for cuddling at the same time and took a jump right up on my just coloured and glittered snowman. Poor Snowy got christmas red glitter all over his face. I managed to get most of it away from the card, but it got a little scratched in the face instead. Snow effect? With some good imagination. :)
I followed the sketch made by the lovely Mina. It looks like this. Look at the lovely DT cards at Just Magnolia. Tons of inspiration for you all.
I used papers from DCWV, a MS snow flake punch, some snowflake brads from papermania, CS from Basill and some scraps to go with that and I coloured with promarkers. It was really hard to find a good colour for the bells... Have to work that one out. Also there is (still) some X-mas red glitter glue from TH, even after Tages walk about. There is after all more Christmas holidays coming up after this one. My god I've done so many X-mas cards that I've got to get some new friends to send them to. :) Well this is how my card turned out in the end.
Here comes a close up of Snowy and the way he looks. Sooo cute!
Well off to the ironing again. Lots of it to be done and I better get busy. Maybe I can find some more card making time after that, who knows?
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Just Magnolia Distressing challenge
Hi and hello!
Time for another challenge at Just Magnolia. This challenge is all about distressing and that I´'ve done to my poor card. Not only that, I went a little too crazy with the glimmer mist, but hey it's my first time and I learn. The little santa guy is coloured with distress ink refills, still learning that skill as well. Actually quite fun now when I start to get some feeling for how the inks works. A bit different from my derwent aqua pens. :)
So the card is made with CS from coordination and the rest of the papers are from Magnolia's winter collection. Yummy papers. Love these greyish bluish ones. I have also used some roses, rosebuds, some other flowers from where I don't know. A grass punch from woodware as some leafs. The Santa is also poped up on some 3D cushins. Some silver ink and the (little too much) glimmer mist is also on.
So here comes the card.

And the paint job.
Now it's time to get do to the basement and do some ironing and hopefully get rid of some anger. My oldest boy (three years old) decided to peel the wall papers of the wall in the entrénce this morning. I am not that happy about his initiative at this moment. It's not a very nice wall paper but it's the only one we have. Had no plans for remaking in the hall way at this time. Kids!
Well, hugs and take care

Just Magnolia challange week no 29
Hi again!
A short entry this time. It's a monochrome theme this week at Just Magnolia. Not a very easy one. I started of making a green santa card. But that guy made me sick, so for the first time ever a card went into the fire. Maybe I should have used it as Halloween card and scared the kids ringing on our door during the weekend? ;)
So I remade the card and ended up with a blue santa instead. Much better as he doesn't look too sick. I have for the first time painted with the distress inks (refills) from TH. A bit of adventure for me, but it looks OK for a first timer I think. All of the Santa is actually painted in blue, even his face but it doesn't show to well on the card. I was going for all blue but it became so "heavy looking" that I had to break it of with a tiny, tiny bit of white. A few pearls and some white dots on the Magnolia paper I used in the back ground. There is also a few chrystal stars in the corners of the santa panel. Thanks for looking! It was fun to make the card even if I didn't get my first vision to look like I wanted it too.

Finally!
I have managed to finish of a card again. I made a card for my auntie last week and totally lost all card making energy but now I got some "mojo" back. I'm really tired, one of my boys are sick with high fever and won't eat of corse. The other one is as wild as ever. Today I manage to take some time and sat down in my basement room and created this card.
I managed to get it together so that I can enter to challenges this week. Just Magnolia and Passion for Promarkers Feels good with the little time I've got now to make one card for two how to speak.

Well this is my card. A magnolia stamp of corse coloured with my promarkers. So much fun to colour with them, but I a not a fast "painter" that's for sure. Can't even remember how many times I've been giving the cat a new coat of colour, but here he is. Kind of reminds me of one of my british shorthaired cats that was a big part of my life for over 13 years. He is really missed, and so are the other three sweethearts we lost in the short period of one and a half year. Well, that's life. Back to my card.
During this week at Just Magnolia there is a sketch for you to follow and it looks like this. It was great fun to work with as Martines sketches always are. Thank you for all of them!
At Passion for Promarkers there's any colour theme, but there has to be an animal somewhere. And that I forfill with this little darling. You can read everything about the challenges following the links above.
Today my card goes red and blue with some cream colours to light it all up. Some waterfall glitter stickles on the flowers as well.
Here comes the card in full view. Tilda and her "little" cat. He or she is so sweet. It must be a british shorthaired one. It's too cute to be some other breed. :)
The last picture is of my painting. The cat is actually 3d but it doesn't show that much here, if at all. It's really dark here in Sweden nowdays and it's always too dark for photographing as it seems. You all have to bare with that. :)
Well, it's time for me to relax infront of the TV, may be I can bring some of my huge pile of christmas card pieces with me and do some work on them. I've already spent half of my day putting the dubble sided tape on most of the pieces I need. I have two knees, (yes me too) that are really painfull at the moment. If I could I would cut them both of. Sounds terrible I know, but it hurts, a lot! In my fingers and hands as well but hey that's my life. At least for now.
Take care every one!
Hugs
Marie
