A new Christmas card

A good afternoon to you all! I'm back after being in a foggy world for some weeks now. The kids are home as day care is closed today and now they are playing with a friend that came by. First time he is here and they are having a blast at the moment. Makes it so much easier for me. I can sit here and type this for example. LoL

OK, I have a card for you as well. I followed the lovely sketch from Papertake Weekly. So good to work with, I have prepared a few more cards with that design. :) Getting closer to finish my 50 X-mas card each card I make now. It's "just" 25 left now. Then there is my own. Hmm maybe go all in digital with them this year? I am also entering the card to the challenge over at Christmas Inspirations where the theme is die cuts and punches.

I have used a lovely LOTV image from last year. Totally adore those winter bears. Love to colour them and they are in a great size as well. Can make some smaller cards with them as well. That's my cup of tea. :) I have used a snowflake from Magnolia together with some grunge stamps from Stempleglade. Flowers from Wild Orchid and fence die from Magnolia. The designer paper is from NitWit collections called Mr and Mrs Santa if I remeber right. Love them to bits, the colours are right up my alley at the moment. I have also splashed on some extra thick gesso for snow structure here and there. Well, all over the card as it looks now. :)

Have a wonderful day! I am so glad that I am back in this world again, not the foggy blurry place I've been in the last couple of weeks. Today life is good!

Just dropping by!

Have like earlier said, a smaller mountain of X-mas cards to make and this is one of the versions I'm currently working on. I don't want to get bord so I try to do different things. This one turned out classy and elegant in my own opinion. :) The best part is that it's maintly made out of scraps, just like it should be. :)

I have used the new snow flake stamp from Magnolia on craft paper, put some bling in the middle. Used my favourite x-mas sentiment stamp for the lower panel that is backed with cs found in my scrap box. The rain deer is made with one of T.H. Bigz die from last year. Used it on some old grunge paper that I saved from some box, covered it with another pieze of scaps and stamped on it with a Prima stamp. Nice and easy, and it does make it possible to make another 35 cards or so for Christmas. :)

We're having fun again!

Good morning and welcome to my For Fun post for this week. This week we're doing Anything Halloween. I think I have made for Halloweenish cards this year and I don't know anyone in this country celebrating it. Saving them for better times. :)

rsdETSY

This week we are sponsored by Rick St. Dennis. And the prize is a sheet of Halloween digis. You see most of the images on my fellow teamies cards over at the For Fun blog.

As always my image is coloured with my Letraset Family. I have given the the image some new surroundings in the for of flowerish stamps from MME and Stempelglade. The Designer papers are from freebees from Bearly Mine design, so if you are interested in them just click the button on the right. Flowers are a mix and match from WOC, Joanna Sheen and I am roses. Some have I given a new colour with the markers. Metal corners are also from WOC the cat from Pagoni. Hope you jump right over to the For Fun blog and join us in our halloween celebration!

It's Bearly Mine time again!

Such wonderful day and such smashing start of the day with a new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges. A little harder challenge for you this time. Our theme is Anything but a card! How is that for a challenge? There is alot of things that can be done for this challenge. How about a Christmas decoration, or for halloween? Alter a box, a candle etc. You know what I mean, there is nothing you can't do, well no a card then. :)

I chose to decorate a gift box for this challenge. I bought a set of three at Panduro quite a long time ago and this challenge made me start taking care of them. I used designer papers from Christmas Glee and resized them to a fitting size. That is the perfect thing with digital elements, you can get almost any size you want. Love that! My box is really tiny, only about 7,5 cm sides. I made a very simple decoration on top of the lid. I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a stamp from Magnolia. It kind of wishes happy X-mas. I also added some lace to the lid to make it a little more decorated. Tons of fun, now I just have to work on the other two. Have not decided who will get the box or what I will put in it yet. Maybe a neckless, or some delish chocolate. Have some time to deside still. :)

Just as always we have some wonderful sponsors offering prizes just for you who takes part in our challenge here at BMC. This week we're sending a big thank you to these companies

Late Monday afternoon...

...and I wonder where the day has gone? It was here just a second ago. Some days just disappear on me. Wonder how that can be? LoL

Made another card the other night. Yepp! Not much sleep this night either, new doctors appointment on Friday. Hope there is some other med I can try instead of this yurrky one.

This time I've made a card with one of the new Sweet Christmas Dreams stamps from Magnolia. Decided to go with a back ground stamp this time. Was in the mood for some brown but ended up using more orange browns than the pure brown ones. Don't ask me why. That happens when you make cards late at night. The theme over at Passion for Promarkers this week is stars so I enter my card there. DP are from Bearly Mine's Christmas Dreams. Flowers from Wild Orchid Craft and Joanna Sheen. Rest of the decos from my stash.

Christmas time again

Another X-mas card coming your way. It's like I can't help myself, but I do have a goal with all these X-mas cards. I need a bunch for about 35 myself and then I kind of sold 50 before they were even made. That means I need to keep busy. I don't even dare to count how many I got so far. Affraid of the answer. :)

OK then, my card: my image from Lili of the Valley. Looooveeee to colour this little bear. So much fun, a fairly quick. And how needs quick? Yepp! That would be me. I followed the sketch from Pink Ink Sketches as they are really lovely to work with.

I used some old designer papers from Dovecraft and some ribbon I bought from Panduro a few years ago. Why I tell this? The ABC Christmas Challenge has the theme of Use old stash and so I have. Both in the papers and the stamp as it is from last years Christmas collection from LOTV.

I made the flowers with the new helle.... somthing flowers and it's a new die from Magnolia. They are so cute. I have also used poinsenta die from Marianne under the helle-flowers. Pearls from BunnyZoe as usual.

Now time for some TV again and some colouring...Need to keep busy! :)

A Magnolia card for a birthday boy

Hi there! Sitting here while the kids are toring the house down. It sounds like it anyway. Promissed them a surprise if they could leave me alone for as long as it takes me to finish this off. At the moment it doesn't sound so good. Home alone with the little monsters until Sunday when my partner in "crime" gets back home from a buisness trip. At the moment if feels like he will be gone forever. Of corse my bXXXXX body woun't play fair with me either, so on top of being alone, I have pain that I don't even wish for my worst enemy.
The insides upper part of the card.

So as my olders is going to a five year olds birthday party on Sunday and W didn't want to make the card this time I have spend the day working with it between contacting doctors of all kinds.

Here is the inside that will be completed with a white circle to write on, when I have figured out what to write. A few days left to do that. :)
Have used soccer Edwin and the goal scenery from the Winner takes it all collection. Coloured the little guy in the local teams colours. Used the Magnolia soccer designer paper together with another green one that is abit older. Raised the laces inside the card, but made them flat outside not to take the focos from the main image. And I kind of needed the space. :) Now I just need to write down the birthday greeting and maybe add another "5" on the inside. I play along with the Just Magnolia Hänglar challenges witch is distressing this week and at the TOMIC challenge the theme is set to sporty + a sketch. Thanks for that theme, I had a hard time trying to figure out what to do for one the best buddies in W's life at this point.

Hello there!

Here comes another one from me for today. It's now time for the Paper Shelter to start our new challenge for this week. And this week we are celebrating Harvest time so we want to see the colours of green, orange, yellow and browns.

As always we have some lovely prizes up for grabs. If you use the lovely TPS images you have a chance of winning a voucher worth a wooping $20. WoW! If you don't use these cuties, you really should. LoL, you still have a chance of winning a lovely prize that is three digis of your choice. Yepp! Pedor and Veronica raised the prize for you a couple of weeks ago, so come on a join us now.

I have use this litte cute gal called Autumn is coming! I totally adore this image and really try to get my kids to feel the joy over this stunning season of the year. She is coloured with promarkers and triamarkers. Some flowers from stash and some cardcraft candy finish the card off together with some string and a leaf charm. DP are some old that I had forever.

Hope to see you over at the Shelter again this week. I love, and so do the rest of the team to look at what you create!

Good morning!

It's that day of the week again when I double post. As always I start with For Fun as that challenge goes up first. This week we really have a challenge for you. We are doing Halloween and/or fall but you can NOT use the colours orange, black or purple. That is a challenge, isn't it? I who don't even celebrate this spooky holiday had a really hard time figuring out how to do this.

Once again we are sponsored by Bugaboo digistamps, you find out what the prize is when you pop on over to the For Fun blog. I have used this little cute wizard for my card, placed him on a bench from...gosh who had made that one? Can't really remember at the moment, might be CC designs. He looked like he needed somewhere to sit. My gost comes from a scrapkit that I bougth from Mollys scrapbooking last year. Told you, don't do halloween, at least this is now used. :) The designer papers are from Bearly Mine design and the third CD, Extream III.

Have a wonderful day and see you over at For Fun soon!

More Christmas, are you bored yet? :)

Ok, officially only 41 more makes for my Christmas card order. How can speed this up? Oh well, I just smile and keep enjoying what I do. The only way to get there I guess. If I am luck I've got an older bunch stored away.

This card is made using one of the new Tilda pads. Christmas house is it called. Tons of red and pink in this one. New for this time seems to be that the little motives is precut and you just have to push them out to much joy for my kids. Had to stop them doing that before they went too far.

I have added some stickles, pearls and a few tied bows to the design and I followed the lovely sketch from Come and get it Challenges.

Now dinner and then some shopping for food. Have to get it done before my partner goes to way before the weekend.

Love n hugs

A new Promarker card

It's Christmas critters theme over at Passion for Promarkers this week and just as usual I turn my card in late. :) Have spent the whole evening at the Vet's again with the cat. Took out some stitches, looked at some new wounds and got some med for him. Lots to do for the vet this evening so everything was delayed. And now I am tired as I have spent the whole day up on my feet. Doctors and physio therapist and what ever. And I really need to find a vinter jacket now. It starts to get chilly around here.

Now for my card, well it's a whole little bunch of them as they are not bigger than 10 cm or something like that. I need to make 50 cards for a friend and I have to keep to the clean and simple look. Don't want the cards to get too heavy either. So I used these cutie Rudolphs for my cards and some DP from Bearly Mine Designs. Love the look of this one.

Now I'll spend some time in the sofa and then my comfty bed. I am soo tired!

A happy birthday

A good evening to you all. I'm back with a quite simple card that I made the other day. As always my mum askes for a card in good time. Plenty of time to figure out what to do, NOT! Two days this time, drives me a little nuts but hey it's my mum. :)

One of my uncles turns 70 years old on Sunday. Can't believe that! He does not look a day older than 50. It's like that when you keep fit and keep your mind working I guess. One way he keeps fit is when he plays golf that's why the theme is golfing. The image comes from Mo's digital pencil and is coloured with my letraset family once again. May be I should use all those distress inks I've got before they dry out? LoL

Not much of decorations here. Not the style of my uncle. I have used a few cardcraft cand just because they reminded me of golf balls. I followed the sketch from Sweet sketch Saturday as it was a good fit for my golfing theme.

No with high speed to the bed before my new meds kicks in. It totally knocks me out for now, hope it gets better when I'm more used to it. But for now, I enjoy being able to sleep for a loooong time. :)

A new For Fun Challenge

We have a new Wendsday and a new challenge over at For Fun. This week we are doing pumpkins, but no Jack - O- Lanterns. Just plain pumpkins. We are sponsored by the lovely MelJen, be sure to pop on over to her store and find you some goodies.

My image is coloured with promarkers, cut out with a spellbinder die and placed over two dotty ribbons from Joanna Sheen. She has a lovely selection of them to smashing prices and no postage to be paid. I have also used a doily from Panduro, metal corners from Wild Orchid and designer papers from Bearly Mine Designs. You find the link to the right. This is from the Grunge Day digi set. I love that brown colour and it goes so well with the colours of fall. I do hope you join us over at For Fun this week. We had some problems with Blogger acting up but we are working on it.

There is also a new challenge up for the Paper Shelter. This time the theme is "We love animals", how fun is that? Just a clean simple wonderful challenge for you all.

And at last, I have been so lucky the last few weeks with many top three/five placements on different challenges. I am so grateful for it. I having a hard time believing that I have been top-5 on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog three weeks in a row. I'm very humble and very happy about it, not to forget proud. The PFP challenges was the reason to why I started my blog about two years ago. Thank you to all of you.

Now when we have a lovely challenge like this we like to give away some goodies as well. This time five (!) of you have the chance of winning some yummy crafting goodies.
So my inspirational card then. I have used two digis from Kenny K and coloured them with my Letraset darlings.  Did alot of cutting, felt like forever when I was doing it. :) I used Bearly Mine Design Shabby Vintage designer papers.  Used some lace, lots of flowers and a few metal corners to bring on some bling. I used dimond dust Gold for the Devilish Donnas's wings to add even more sparkle. The flowers (which is also from Joanna Sheen) are more or less drowned in glimmer mist (Old lace). Last minute again

Hi and hello! Just got back from my MIR and a little trip to a store that makes and sell ceramics. Tons of lovely stuff there. Good to go there and look without the kids. Relaxing, and I am so happy these exams are over with now. Hate going into that X-ray mashine. Now I just have to find out what is wrong with this back of mine. :)

So over at Passion for Promarkers the theme is to alter something, and it should not be square. I took an old lamp shade for a tea light and fixed it up for the coming season. As I want to take part in the LOTV challenge this week as well, with the theme Let it snow, I used one of the cute teddies out in the snow and some snow flake designer paper from the supermarket. Yepp!  I know, super market of all places, the paper is single sided and I really wanted that and it's not to thick either. Some wooden snowflakes from BunnyZoe and roses from WOC is my decorations together with a piece of lace. I've got to teddy bears on the lamp shade and to "fields" with snow flakes on them.

A rainy day

and what is better than stay inside to craft a bit? Started the day with a work out at the gym and then crafting a few cards that has been half done for a while now. Felt good to finish them and then go on to something that I have wanted to do for a long time but hadn't had any time for; enter a Magnolia challenge. As I am a sucker for good sketches I just had to be in this challenge. LoL

So I have used one of my fave Magnolias. This one is so adorable. Coloured her with my letraset gang. Put the card together with DP from Basic Grey, flowers, lace and metal corners from Wild Orchid, a heart charm from Pagonia. Some golden rod stickles and I was done. :) Well after adding a few pearls that is. These ones come from Stämpelgården.

Hello again!

It's time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter and what's it all about you wonder? Curious hey? We are going for the theme of Halloween this week. OK, not my favourite holiday of the year and I don't celebrate it at all. I'm not much for scary things at all, I don't even like high speed. LoL But with these cuties from the PaperShelter it's very easy to make a halloween card, even for me.

I have used the little cutie Bewitched Night. I totally adore this little cutie and she was such a joy to colour as well. There is as with all the images from the PaperShelter also a pre coloured  version available for all you that don't have the time to colour it. My little witch is paired up with some freebee papers from Bearly Mine design.

As always you have the chance of winning a voucher worth $20 if you use one of the PaperShelter images in the challenge. News for this challenge is, if you use any other brand you have a chance of winning THREE digis of your own choise. How lovely isn't that?

OK people, time to start creating. Have a wonderful day and see you over at the Shelter!

Just made it!

Strange day today. Feels like I've got tons done and at the same time absolutly nothing. I have wanted to take part in the Passion for Promarkers challenge the whole week and I just managed to finish my card. The pic is a bit strange since it's dark around here now and my flash refuses to work... Oh well, hopefully you can see what it is at least. Thought I post it in the LOTV challenge as well with the theme of Button it! The theme over at PFP is Planes, trains and automobiles!
So I have used one of my dear LOTV images together with some DP from Basic grey that is perfect for transport cards. For embellishments, just a few die cut stars and a few buttons.

Enjoy the rest of the day!

Love n hugs
Marie
