Going dotty over at PFP

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new charming challenge over at Passion for Promarkers, the challenge where you have to use your Promarkers to have a chance to win the prize. Fun isn't it? This week we have a fave theme over at PFP; Going Dotting.

I have used a lovely image from Power Poppy. I don't remember what it's called but it's found in their digital store. I don't have so much energy at the moment as the warm and kind of moist weather gives me quite a lot of pain and it's not a nice one.

Of course is it coloured with my Promarkers. I love pink and green together and the look smashing together. I think that the designer papers are from a polish brand that I can't spell the name of or remember. And I have used three kinds of coloured card stock: White, pink and glitter gold. To get a little more action in the card have I used both distressed edges and a die from Magnolia. The "Grattis" die says congratulations in swedish and I love the size of it. Need to figure out if there is any more of them, that is a little less modern in it's design. It as perfect for this image anyhow. I have also added a piece of lace, but it's hardly visable on the picture. A few little sequines are added as decorations as well.

I do hope to see you play along with us and have fun doing it. It's nice and fun and our prizes are also really nice. Come on and play along!

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Anything goes over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter this week and we have the easy going theme of "Anything goes". The team has summer vacation with this challenge so we will not comment on your entries this time. You have plenty of time to enter as we have a bit longer challenge so everyone can rest as much as they want to to during this time. We will be back with new challenges in August again.

As for my card have I used one of the newer images called Pixi. A very cute and lovely image that gets my mind going to Peter Pan and his friends. I had trouble colouring this time but not because of the image.  I have used my promarkers this time as most of the time. I have a new batch of Nennah card stock that I print on and it doesn't react like that the old one. Have to figure that one out with time I think.

I found yet another old paper pad that was suitable for my creation and it's from My Minds Eye and was a freebee ages ago from a cardmaker magazine. Filled with happy colours but the paper itself is not white more unbleched and not that easy to pair up with other stuff like I normally do.

I have used a punch from Martha Stewart for the lace piece. There is a doily cut in half to be used at two places on the card to break up the straight lines. A bunch of sequines and some glittery dots from Marianne Design. Flowers, lace and pins from my stash. Some dry glitter and a glue pen to add some sparkle to the little sweet pixi.

As always, we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Nice and easy to play along, right? You can enter our challenges up to three times, but at least one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on it.

Take good care and don't forget to join our fun challenge. Even if we don't comment on your card, you still have the same great chance to win the great price worth $30 if you play with a TPS image. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

Summer Spirit over at the Paper Shelter

Hello and good evening!
So sorry that my post is really late today. It has been one of those days when nothing works out like it should. I had my card done and ready to go up but I was not working very well last night so a bit belated I am back at least. A bit late is better than not showing up at all. :)

Our theme this week over at TPS is "summer spirit". That means we want to see something that you relate to summer and summer feelings kind of. It should be a nice and easy theme during this time of the year.

I have used the smashing and a bit different image called The Dreamer. It's a smashing bottle ship. I love the image as it puts me back to my childhood when we used to sail all the summer, so there comes my summer spirit. My had was some kind of wizard when it came to sailing. He refused to have a motor on board the sailing boat. He could even handle the boat just the way he wanted. All of the sudden could you realize that the boat was going back wards. It was him parking it in the right spot only by using the wind. Still amazes me as I have never seen anyone else sail that way. He was plain and simple brilliant at it. And that's why I chose that image for this challenge. It means a little more than just an image to me.

I have coloured with my promarkes and some glossy accent for the bottle. It gave it a great shine and it looks more like a really bottle than just my lazy kind of colouring. I used the same designer papers from Bo Bunny that I have used the last few months. It's coming to an end now that pad, but I can still get a few cards out from it. It has been a great one to work with, that's for sure. I have used a pad punch to add a panel with sea motives. I have also used some wooden stars as embellishments. I hope for some kind of look that puts your mind to the ship sailing in space as well, for you to follow your dream and that is why I went the sentiment that I have picked. Both wish I would dare to sail once more and that I wish that I could get myself to believe that I deserve to follow my dreams. An all this comes from one challenge card.

You can enter up to three times, that is if one of your creation has a TPS image on it. Other wise you are limited to two entries and you don't even have to colour in your image yourself.

Colours of the summer over at PFP

Morning and hello!
I am back again. It doesn't seem like you get rid of me these days. Anyway, it's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and that means a new theme as well. We are looking for "Colours of the summer" this week.

Ingen fotobeskrivning tillgänglig.
We do have a sponsor and that is Bugaboo that is offering a $12 gift code to use in their fabby store. We will be having one lucky winner for this fun challenge!

This card is made up with tons of left over papers and stuff like that as I try to use up what I have and since I have been doing my card while in bed I have a limited stash around me. I know it's crazy and I have glue on everything but it's ok. I have fun and that's the most important think, besides I try to use the same beddings in that bed. Have two to fix that problem, one in the laundry and one in the bed. LoL

Anyway, it's the most effective way to use up what I have so old stuff goes in there and get used as I don't go up to get other stuff. I have used desiger papers from Glitz and Echo park for sure, it might be another brand there as well but totally unsure. I have also used my beloved old fiskars punch Apron lace or what it was called. My flowers are die cuts and there is some white sprigs as well. I really have been busy with my dies and punches as the butterfly is also made with a die. To finish the card off I have used a bunch a squines to bring in even more colours and some details to the flowers.

Hope you like this colourful happiness of mine. I love the image by the way. It's called Kids Bella Water melon peeker. It comes from Bugaboo of course, you can really see it on the style of the image. And they are so much fun to colour. I love their broad lines. Fabby and fun!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

More summerfun!

Morning and hello!
I am back once again with a new card using a Polkadoodle image from the last summer collection I think. I have spent quite a lot of time not being able to sleep so quite a few extra cards are made last few months. And on top of that do I have a cat living under one of my desks in my office and we're trying to socialize him so he can move to a new family. And no, he has to stay under the desk as we has rebuilt it to work as a cage for him. He is not allowed to move very much with his broken leg.

That is if we can let go of him after putting all the work into this project. It's the cat that moved in here around mid June, the one with the broken leg. We are making progress, not so much me as Mats. He can at least get him to very fast take the food out of his hand and then eating. I am not there yet. But I will get there in the end. At least I hope. I have the time and he has no choise well he has but I don't think he will when we are done he and me. LoL

Ok, the card then. A Polkadoodle image I bought sometime during the spring, or right before summer. Coloured with my Promarkers and having tons of fun doing it. I love making the male cards so I have jet all the female images left to colour in and maybe one or two more of the male ones. This is also just like the card I showed earlier this week been paired up with my Bo Bunny paper pad. Not much left of it now. This time is it not only the papers going retro, even the light is retro looking. I don't have the card left so it has to be this way. Sorry about that. I have just used a paper punch for some texture and hand cut a few banners for decoration. A fun card to make and really relaxing to make it. Maybe the shark isn't that relaxing but you have to take the good with the bad. LoL

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Summerfun!

Morning and hello!
Time for a new creation here over my little blogger's corner. I don't have any design team creations this week so I thought I could use the time to show off some of the stuff that been laying around my desk and my bed. I make tons of stuff during the night when I can't sleep. I just wish that I wouldn't write letters by then because they are totally unreadable when I wake up in the morning. Such crappy writing!

This card looks like it has crappy colouring as well but it isn't as bad as it looks here. I just don't have the energy to retake the photo again. The camera has somehow managed to catch every single pen stroke on this one. Wonder if I had the paper the wrong way or something. Oh well, it's just a card and it works.

I have used a Polkadoodle image for this one and the favorite paper pad of this summer Bo Bunnys summer days or something like that. Smashing colours with a bit of retro feeling to them. Just lovely. Wish I had bought a pad more, but now it's spending freez for me the coming 6 months of so. Just allowed to by card stock, cardbases and sticky stuff when I really need it. With that said I have a whole Kallax insert filled with glue and sticky stuff and one half of another. Might take me through the coming months. LoL

Well this is it for me for today. I wish you a good day and hope to see you back here soon again.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

A card just for the fun of it

Morning and hello!
The first week of vacation is half way there and I thought that I would take the chance to post a card just for the fun of it. It doesn't happen that often. I make way more cards than I show off here. I could probably post a card each day for a month or two if I just had the energy for it, but I don't so I just enjoy it when I can. Most of the time it's the photographic part that drives me nuts. The photo is very seldom really good and I can't understand what I am doing wrong.

I know I have used this image quite a lot lately after having forgotten about it for quite some time. The meaning was that I should rotate my stamps a bit and use some older stuff. The only problem I don't have the enery to change stamps. So using the same stuff over and over again. It doesn't help that I have bought new stuff either, but they don't get used either. I really should shop my stash a bit more.

This one is a Sarah Kay stamp that I love. I think I have a post card album with this image as well. It's really lovely. And I know that I have gotten that album from my dad's mum. I have coloured with my Winsor and Newton Promarkers and used a paper pad which I once again don't know the name of... Let's see Pink and Blue from CC Hobby if I am not misstaken. I have used a little doily and a silver ribbon to give some texture and finish off feel to the card.

Well, that's all for today. I wish you a great week with tons of fun!

Winter or Christmas buildings over at Winter Wonderland

Morning and hello!
A wee bit late but here I am. I got struck by heavy headaches againg yesterday and it caused me some delays for this post but now I'm here, only a few hours late. Quite well done if I might say so myself. And I got a great surprise in the early mail today. MY new TENS came and now I will get it going as soon as it is charged. Let's hope it will help all the shoulder pain I've got which is what causes the headaches.

Etsy shop - https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/TwinkleLaneDesigns
Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/145707866223056/

Twinkle Lane Designs was started in 2015 - created by Suzanne Porter BA (Hons) Graduate in Fashion Enterprise.  I have always been creative, I love all types of crafts, sewing, papercraft, drawing. As an avid cardmaker I created Twinkle Lane so I could make unique characters and papers to make wonderful cards.

And the prize on offer to our winner is:
a choice of 3 items from the Etsy shop - either;
-3 digi stamps
-3 digital paper packs
-or a mix of digis and papers

Anyway, back to the card. The card is for the Winter Wonderland and we have a new monthly challenge up for you today. Christmas or winter buildings. I have used the fabby image called  Christmas Lodge digi and Let It Snowman digi paper.

It might now have been the best coloring of my life but it's done and it was quite relaxing doing it. And I even caused a little snowstorm over the image with some Liquitex acrylic ink. Superfun to use and it kind of dries before it has hit the paper. I think it's my new fave in the craft room. There is pleny of colours of it as well both opac and other versions of it.

I did colour this image with my copic markers for once. Well, it was me being lazy to be honest. I have my Promarkers in the basement and I had no energy left to go and pick the up so copic for once. I have paired up the image with the sponsor papers that I got as well. They are called Let it snow and that's kind of why I added the snow on the image as well. It made it a little more fun. I have used a simple tree button to decorate with as well as a charm and some old gemstones that I thought was nice to use up as well. There is also some pieces of bakers twine in marine blue and white added to the card.

And this should be it for this card. I hope you'll take the time to enter our challenge and get your Christmas cards going for the coming season. It's getting closer each day.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Digital image over at The Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
I am back again and this time it's the Paper Shelter that has my attention. We are having the simple theme of Digital image this week so many of you should be able to join us. You can enter up to three times, that is if one of your creation has a TPS image on it. Other wise you are limited to two entries and you don't even have to colour in your image yourself.

I have used the fabby image called Enchanted Rockabilly , a really cute image as most of them are. I love the cartoon look and the bold lines really gives me the urge to colour even if I have used the precoloured version this time. Sometime the time is not enought and this time it is like that.

Anyway, I had fun playing with the image and I paired her up with some older papers from Echo park called Sweet day. It's not much left of that pad by now, but I can probably get one or two more cards out of it if I pair in some other papers to break up all the patterns.

Some decorations has also been added. Pearl stars from my stash, a sentiment stamp from a no name brand and some sweet flowers in white and orange as it looks good with the image. Some loose glitter powder is also used with some wet glue on the wings.

And that's all for today. I hope you will take the time to join us in our easy challenge. You have to be in it to win it you know.

Make it square over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new fun challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This weeks theme is very simple as we go for "Make it square". That simply means that your card has to have the shape of square. We are sponsored by Dr Digis house of stamps and they have such great bunch of images to choose from. They are great fun and I really love their cartoonish look.

Dr Digi is offering one lucky winner a fabby prize of two digital images for this challenge. The images are so fun to colour that you want to use them over and over again.

I have used the fabby image called Keep Fit Kennet. It is a fun image that suits many of us now when all my friends are getting older (and I stay forever 27). I have coloured with my Winsor and Newton markers as well as Letraset markers, some are still in use and never seems to run out. Keeping my fingers crossed as I think they were better as Letraset.

I have used some designer papers for this as well. The organge one is from Echo Park and the others are from a Polish brand I think, and don't ask what it is called because I have no clue. There can also be some K & Company papers in the mix.

For decorations have we (me and Kenneth) a few card candies and a border punch from a no name brand. There is also some glossy accent added to the card. For the glasses and for the dumbbells. And that is kind of it.

The new cat that lives with us at the moment seems to feel a bit more at home as he seems to think that as soon as we get into the office he will get food. He is much larger than I thought he would be, he is just a bit skinny at the moment. He will be a wonderful cat when he grows up to be socialized by us. He is stunning all in black. The other three cats that runs the house doesn't seem to have any trouble with him at all as they talk to him and lay down to look at him. Fritte is more nice to them than he is to me. :)

Well that's all from today. Oh one more thing, I happened to go on a bet doing a 90 km MBT-run next year if my brother managed to go to Las Vegas and compete in a huge BBJ competion. I have never done a race in my life or competed in anything else than card making and cat shows. Wish me luck with this madness! I have even managed to by a new bike for this and are forcing my family to join me in the this total crash of ours. ;) I guess there will be a first for everything.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!
