Christmas Cheer 1-22

Morning and hello!
Time for this years first Christmas Cheer. Well, I have been posting quite a few Christmas cards already, due to an over load of these cards during last year.

I have not been able to colour as much as I normally do so therefore tons of Christmas in the beginning of the year.

This card is made with a bunch of left overs from other projects. An inked circle, some left over scenery from Lawn Fawn, a little rain deer from the same brand. A piece of ribbon, a doily, a bunch of enamel stars and a bunch of white pearls acting as snow flakes.

Hope you like what you see!

Embossing dry or heat over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Well, it's not morning any longer, it is later afternoon. My internet connection has been acting up since last evening so a late post today.

It's time for team 1 to host this week's challenge which is set to Embossing heat or dry. It should be a fairly simple challenge for you all out there. You know that all alcohol markers are fine in our challenges now, don't you?

We are sponsored this week by Sheepski Designs which offers two digis to our winner this week. Thank you so much for that!

For my card this week have I used the image called Tulips. Each year when the tulips comes to the flower shops and in the garden, I think about my granny who loved these flowers. I love them too, may be because she did?

I have only used a strip of patterned paper for this card. It's from the paper pad Basics from American Crafts. The die cuts are from Crealies and PY Hobby. The embossing is made with a stylus tool and my score board. I didn't have any embossing plate that fitted my design and my heat embossing was not kind too me. It looked really messy so this solution came up and I really love the look of it. Nice, clean and adding detail in nice calm way.

Well, this is all from me for today. Time to rest a bit again before the hand ball game starts late this evening. A derby game: Sweden - Norway!

Take care and do something for you!

Just 4 Fun 5-22

 Morning and hello!
Another Just 4 Fun card, and this time am I using a Sarah Kay image, like a blast from the past. I got a post card album from my granny when I was a kid and after that have I loved the image from this lovely artist.

The papers are from Maja Design and the collection Bohemian Harmony. A lovely pad with a fantastic colour palett. If you have not seen it, take the time to look it up. It is fantastic collection.

I have paired the image up together with some flowers, some left over lace and ribbon. Some golden gem stones and some Nuvo Drops. The sentiment is from hÄnglar and Wings. An old classic punch from Martha Stewart gives some extra dimension on the card. I still love the lovely design of the punch.

Well then, have a wonderful weekend and do take some time to do something for yourself!

Just 4 Fun 4-22

Morning and hello!
I am a bit late with my Just 4 Fun card this week. I am not sure why I have so hard to get things done at this point.

However I have a good reason this week. I have been to a specialist dentist and that appointment took almost two (2) hours. I was not prepared for that at all. Now it is't an ordinary dentist, this one will help me with all my head aches. They are terrible and stop me from living a fairly normal life.

I have a new Christmas card to show this time as well. But my card on Friday is not a Christmas card. Yay for that!

This is another of my cards for my pen friend gang. Hope you like it!

Just 4 Fun 3-22

Morning and hello!
Well, it's actually Saturday afternoon when I post this Just 4 fun-card. I am struggling a bit with keeping my days together and to get things done. I hope I will manage to get a grip around my life soon.

I will use this card, even if it's a Christmas card as a just for fun card as I have not had the energy to take photos of my other cards. I hope I will be able to do that the coming week.

I made a bunch of cards in the same style for my pen pals this Christmas and they are all a bit different, but still in the same style. This is one of the first I made of that bunch. Most of them are only 2/3 of that size. Fitted my envelopes a lot better. :)

The stamps are from Lawn Fawn, Party something. The back ground is made with some distress oxides and some Liquitex Acrylic Ink in white.

Anyway, sweet and short again as the handball game is soon on. It's the European Cup again.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Going Dotty over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at Passion For Markers. This week's theme is set to "Going Dotty". That means we want to see all kind of spots and dots on your creation this week.

Our sponsor this week is the Paper Shelter which offer a lovely prize of 3 digis to one lucky winner.

I have used an image from my big library of TPS images. This is a part of an image where the girl is riding a scoter. But I just wanted the head of this image. I have used it to decorate a note book with craft paper. I am not sure that I will keep it or give it away... I couldn't help myself and put a bow on the front even if I know that it will be hard to make it stay there.

I think that I will add a few Nuvo drops in black on the book as well. I have already messed up one note book so I decided to wait with adding them to this one.

Sorry for the short post today. I am really tired and have tons of pain in my body today as the weather keeps changing from warm to cold every second hour kind of...

Just 4 Fun 2-22

Morning and hello!
This post is a few days late, but better late than never. This is an image from Bugaboo which I really love. I do miss them out there in the digi world.

This time have I coloured with my Promarkers and the designer papers are from Maja Design, Enjoying the outdoors. It was perfect with the colours I have used to colour my image.

Well this is short and sweet and I will be back with a new post tomorrow. Team 1 over at PFM shares their first challenge of 2022. But for now will I end here!

Just 4 Fun 1-22

Morning and hello!
We are starting the new year with yet another hÄnglar and Wing card. This time with the cute baker girl from the set called Bagare. I just love that set it's so fun to work with.

I have been messing with my camera and the settings are a bit off. Way too much red on this one, but practise makes perfect. I keep working on it and will learn how to deal with that camera in a more effective way.

The designer papers are from a pad called Harvest from Pebbles. A nice pad with a bit of kitchen theme in it. It works totally fine for this kind of images. To decorate have I used some left over enamel dots as well as a piece of  left over ribbon in blue. It was a nice time to work on this card and it always gives me peace when I work with something creative.

This is all from me for today. I wish you a lovely day and do something just for you!

A new start, Something new

Morning and hello!
Having a very slow day and taking it very easy. A good way to start a new year. I have written a letter, just as I always do during New Year's day and trying to take some photos of finished cards. This is one of them.

I have been waiting for a long time to get this image from hÄnglar and Wings. It has been lost in the mail and then when I finally got my stamps there was very little time to use it. But now have I used the male snow man, the female version will be up in a few days hopefully.

I have coloured with copics this time on a new kind of paper for me. I think I like it as it was easy to handle with the markers. It's a synthetic paper that has a feeling of plastic or something like that.So far so good. Will try using my promarkers on it as well. After that will I know how I like it. :)

I totally adore this image. The cutest snow man around at this point. Go on and take a look over at hÄnglar and Wings web shop. The designer papers used for this card is called Winter and are made by Dove Craft. Tons of silver details and shades of blue and grey. Really lovely paper pad that will be great for coming winter and Christmas cards.

Do you have any New Years resolutions for the New Year? I am hoping to use up at least some of my old stash of crafting material and I hope that I will learn more about my camera and how to be able to take some better photos. I would love to learn more about lightroom and photoshop from Adobe but I nee to be careful as well so that I don't overload my like again. It's hard to get back from that. But more structure in my life would be great.

I hope that you find something to "deal" with during the new year; learning something new, call an old friend, help a fellow human or pet out when in trouble etc. There is always something you can do both for someone else or for a needing pet or animal. It will make both you and the helped person feel a lot better!

Take care and do something for yourself!
