Hi all! Todays card is made with one of the sweet new Christmas stamps from Lili of the valley and as I give most of my cards to a cat shelter, what is a better fit than some Christmas kittens?
The card is made for the challenges that is going on at Winter Wonderland - holly, red and green. And Die Cut Dream's Christmas Challenge which has the the theme of Furry things. DP are from DCWV I think and some huge bling stones from Panduro, card candy in the corners, glitterations from Anitas and some stickles from TH. The image is coloured with my beloved promarker pens.
Now some dinner and then off to a meeting at Kindergarten.
Have a good evening!

Just Magnolia meets Let's ink it up
For the first time in months I finally found the time to take part in the Just Magnolia Challenge were Dawny has drawn a lovely sketch for us all to follow. I turned my card into an easle card this time as it is kind of fun to make them. At Let's ink it up the theme is favorite stamp with the twist of a charm. Let's ink it up does also have a DT call if anyone is intrested in giving it a try. And charms are added. I won some wonderful sweet fabric butterflies in a christmas challenge. A goodie bag filled with different decorations and I totally fell in love with this butterflies.
It was really hard to photograph this card today. One minute cloudy, the next sunny and the wind is awful. The card was about to take off during the photo shoot. :) DP are from Papermania, flowers from WOC, butterflies from Altheas Mix and the metall one is from Pagoni, web ribbon Bunny Zoe and the half pearls from Joanna Sheen.
Have a wonderful day!

Marie

Passion for Promarkers, long time no seen...
Every single card I've made recently has been without any stampt images. This is the first image I've coloured in three weeks I think. Hard work to get back to it. :) The theme at Passion for Promarkers this week is "Make your own flowers". I have only made one and I hope that is enough? It's the big rose that is my creation. I made a couple more of them but it got too much on the card. To big and it looked silly. So I decided to combine a few prima flower to keep the rose company. I made the card for a neighbour how turned 50 this week. I've been taking care of their cats when they have been away on holiday. DP are Basic Grey, flowers MI and prima, swirls from MD, pearls Bunny Zoe, alphas from TH die. And the image is from Whiff of Joy.
So this is all for now. I wish you all the best and have a great weekend!
Hugs,
Marie

Christmas at Althea's once again
It seems like the only card I'm making those days are the ones for the X-mas challenge at Altheas Mix. This week it's an origami folding of a Christmas tree. My first thought was, oh now I can't do that. All the cards will look the same, so what's the point. I gave it a couple of days to think about it, and this is what I ended up with.
The DP:s I've used are all Bearly Mine Design. Thanks Donna! The card would never have looked this good without those papers. Decorations is a mixture of things, ribbon (golden one) and the harp are from Altheas Mix and was a part of my price for winning last week. Thanks Mita! Also the corner stamp is found there.
Flower and leafs are Wild Orchid Craft. The golden heart is from Pagoni. Some golden stickle and mill hill sead beads and I have a hanging Christmas tree, origami foldet with a star in the top from Bunny Zoe. And I'm thrilled about this card! It looks wow, even to me who normally is not a big fan of my own work. :)
Have a great day!

Marie

Some sentiment challenges
Todays card is made for the challenges Bah! Humbug! and Die Cut Dreams Christmas club were the theme is Text or sentiment only. No pictures or images. This came fairly easy this time, maybe that's why I am so early with this post. Nice and easy, and most of all fun to make.
The ribbon is from Stämpelgården, the flowers and leaves from Wild Orchid Craft, some card stock from Panduro and Basil, stickles glitterglue in golden rod and christmas red and I was done, after embossing the white panel with swiss dots for a little more intrest to be added to the card. Hope you like!

Marie

Winterwonder land challenge - A one layer card!
Oh dear! I thought when I read this. The Winter wonderland challange is one layer card. How do I do that? Then I watched my son soon to be four years old playing and painting with my distress inks. If he can, I can and this is what I ended up with. Willy uses brushes as he loves to paint with them. (He costs me a fortune in distresser). I need quality he says, and refuses to paint with watercolours and other fun stuff they have at daycare. Maybe I shouldn't have allowed him to try these, but it's so great to sit next to him and feel his joy when it comes to this. That he is the only one besides me that are allowed to use my stuff. He grews iches every time we sit here. It's absolutly worth it.
So I used some blue distress inks, faded jeans mostly. A few swirly stamps from Whiff of joy, a santa's head from Panduro. And off I went with the gold and clear embossing powders. I kind of like it and it's fun to try stuff you have not done before. It's good with variations in the crafting day/week/month... :)
So take care and have fun!
Hugs,
Marie

The long going challenge at Altheas Mix
I guess I've been in this Altheas Mix Christmas Challenge for about four weeks now or so. And all cards made are very unusal styles for me. But after giving it a bit of a chance how to speak I really enjoy making this kind of cards as well with out any colouring. This weeks challenge is brown and white by the way.
The card for today is made with a Christmas tree from Marianne Design (a die cutting stencil) some (fake) craft card from pinkpretticoat, swirly christmas stamps from Whiff of Joy, some snow flowersoft and some half pearls. Some white Basil cardstock and a white gel pen to finish eveything of and I'm done. And in good time this week. Not last minute as the other weeks. My mojo seems to be coming back and it's wonderful!
Take care and enjoy your day!
Hugs,
Marie

A new day
And today I've made a little card for the Bah! Humbug! Challenge which this week goes with the theme of favourite medium. In my case, distress painting, stamps and digi DP from Bearly Mine design. No ones is better than those. The image is from SugarNellie if I'm not totally off and coloured with the distress inks and a tiny bit of Aquamarkers from Letraset.
It's the "simplest" card I made in ages. Only a few pearls and some embossing as decoration. It was enough for this card I felt. Not my normal sized card either but I like it in the end, maybe because favourit colour combo blue and white is used with a little tiny bit of silver mirriboard?
Ok, I will be quiet now and go and read the news paper instead of talking about nothing here. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

Passion for promarkers - Sweet treat
A little card for a friend who celebrated her birthday a few days ago. And as the theme at PFP is Sweet treats, it's the perfect match! Henry Mouse from Whiff of Joy with a cake, colored with the promarkers pens. DP are from Basic grey and from Donna at Bearly Mine Design. Swedish lace from Magolia and some nesties from Spellbinders are also used. Strange how hard it can be to make a card when you have keep away from it for a little while...
Kind of in a hurry as it is time to pick up the boys again. The days goes so fast. Today I even have to cook and I hate it. Not my favourite thing to do that's for sure. My partner is away and learn how to program computer screens. Cooking is kind of his thing when he is home. :)
Take care and enjoy the rest of your day.

Another one for Althea Mix' X-mas challenge
So here I am after a crazy week when things happend to people around you that is too crazy to believe. It's settling down a littel now and it feels a little better. I was up all night and finally got to finish a card, this one.
At Altheas Mix this week the challenge is keys, key holes, and stuff like that. So I made a litte cottage with a little scenery. The cottage wood (the red) I made with distresser, some snowy stuff, a wooden paper from Magolia for the door and key hole and key from Scraplagret. One stamp from Sarah Key and one from another company which totally slipped my mind at the moment. I put it up here when I find it again.
The doors open of cours and inside you see the lovely Sarah Kay image. I've had it for ages but not got around to use it until now. It's very sweet and I especially love the litte cat. Kind of why I put the mices outside the door making the snow cat. Just a little fun. :)
Now time for dinner and then over to the nightbours for some coffee. It will be nice and then I finish the day with a little moment at the gym.
Enjoy your evening and thanks for looking!
Hugs
Marie

Altheas mix Christmas Challenge
Today is only a quick note to show my latest creation. Which kind of turned out a little strange. The ribbon got too golden and it feels like something is missing. But time is short today as we are moving my craft room upstairs. I have used a stamp from Landstoken that I got from the last year called Santa Spa which I find really funny. I spiced up his rice pudding with some cinnemon as the challenge is spices and ribbons. I also tied in some more cinnemon sticks to the ribbon. This goes with the challenge at Altheas Mix.
Have to rush!
Take care

Being good and publishes another card.
Had a break from everything yesterday and managed to make this card. I image became a littel big for my card but I liked how the colouring turned out, and therefor it takes up most of the card. I even think I am in the first porto limit that the oh so darling postoffice has given us.
The image is digital from Bella Design. There is so many great digi stamps out there now and I enjoy trying them out. I do love Prairy Fairy, but you have to give others a chance as well. :) This card is made for the challenge at Die Cut dreams X-mas club. Themed elfs.
My littel elf is coloured with copic markers, my new try to learn technic. Still not that much of a friend of them. My promarkers are closest to hart still. :) Have used some snow flakes and pearldecorations that i flatten the other night. Put a few pearls in the middle and some snow from Flowersoft for even a little more detail. This is the result of it all.

So this is how it all turned out. My favorit colours at least and some kind of charm to it. It's time to prepare for another card now. Themed ribbons and spice. Got an image ready but don't know how to make the best of it yet. Will be fun to see how that mess turns out. ;)
Have a wonderful day! I look forward to your visit and please do leave a little note behind. They meen so very much to me.
All the best from a sunny Kalmar

A little Magnolia card
Today I've been playing with Tilda again. This is one of my favorite images from Magnolia. It's fun to colour and she is really sweet. I've coloured her with the Aquamarkers from Letraset. A little learning process but I'm getting there. The battery in my camera is running low and won't focus, so the picture is a bit blurry. Sorry...
I've used the sketch from Just Magnolia, theme from Winter Wonderland (All I want for Christmas) and from Bah! Humbug! (Charms). Lovely to be able to take part in a few challenges at once again.
Soon will the "wood man" come and deliver some loggs for the winter, so we kind of know what we have to do around here during the weekend. :) And I have to empty my craft room as well as my brother will probably show up next week and tear the basement room down. I will really miss my little place. Now I have to do something I can call a crafting room up here. The kids need a bigger place to play at and my old crafting space is the best place, unlucky for me. Hope they grow up fast so I can get it back. :):)
Take care and enjoy your evening.
Hugs
Marie
