Feminine over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers, and our theme this week is Feminine. I hope that it is a theme you will enjoy. We are sponsored by the lovely Veronica over at the Paper Shelter.

She offers one lucky winner 3 digis of winner's choice. Thank you so much for that!

I have used the sponsor image for this card and dug out an old paper pad from my stash. Sorry, my memory isn't what it used to be. It doesn't get better from me being in the middle of an medication change for the 1008 time the last four years. I did also find some paper butterflies in my stash that is made by Magnolia, Sweden. It might be time to start using up some stash again. There is so much laying around just waiting to be used. Too bad that inspiration comes with buying new stash! LoL

Hope you come and play with us the coming week. My teamies have made a smashing collection of cards as well, so please drop by Passion for Markers!

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Just 4 fun 10/24

Morning and hello!
Hi, I am back with a card made with one of my latest Magnolia stamps. That doesn't mean that it's new, but I don't buy so many stamps anymore. Anyway, this one is a few years old, if I remember correctly.

I have coloured with my promarkers and I have used an old paper pad from my stash, it's a kind of BuJo paper pad that I have adapted to suit my needs. I like the colours that  the paper pad has in it, so I wanted to (finally) put it to use. I have used a scalloped die cut to frame the image, and used some liquid pearls from Nuvo to decorate it as well as the corners of the card. I have also used a couple of heart shaped enamel dots from Amy Tagerine.

Hope that you find some inspiration from this simple creation of mine.

Love n hugs

Mini Monday 5/24

Morning and hello!
Here comes another one of my mini cards. Filled with silver snow flakes stickers. This time have I cross stitched  a little Christmas card.

I have had fun stitching a few small Christmas images with left over fabric and floss. I have had so much fun to making these cards. Why not dig out some stitching material and stitch yourself a little piece of cheer?

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Flower Friday 4/24

Morning and hello!
Friday again and time for a new card from me. This time is it a flower card that have focus. I don't remember from where I have gotten this wonderful image. I love tulips as they remind me of my granny. She loved these flowers but her favourites was red ones.

I love the pink ones, but these became a little too pink, but still. It's cheerful and happy. For this card have I used some left overs from a couple of Easter paper pads that I am finishing of. There is really only small pieces left of both the pads, but I can probably make a few more cards from the left overs. We'll see. The white Nuvo drops have collapsed a bit for me, but not the blue green ones are still fine. I love the drops as decorations. Nice and fun to work with.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Check it out over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Hi! It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. Today is it time for Team 1 to inspire you all and our theme this week is set to "Check it out!" It means that we want to see something check on your creation. Gingham, check pattern etc. That's what we want to see.

Our lovely sponsor this week is the lovely people over at Lili of the Valley. They offer one lucky winner 4 digis of winners choice. Thank you for that!

My card then. I have used the Sweetpea digital stamp that I love. I have coloured with my promarkers and took a dive into my huge stash of Magnolia designer papers and came up with this.

Now my checks isn't that clear as I managed to put my panel with checks on it way too high up on the card. It's the lower panel with lilac. There is also checks on the little bow on my card. I had fun colouring this image and I love how muted the colours are and how they match the designer papers. I hope that you all find some inspiration from my creation and that you will take some time and play along with us over at PFM.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheers 5/24

Morning and hello!
Hi to you all! It's April and the other week did we had a bunch of snow in the South East of Sweden. It's totally crazy and I hope it won't come more of the snow this winter or spring. It was terrible with that snow storm. There was many accidents that day, and the even closed the bridge over to Öland. It was too slippery and two accidents happened on the bridge before they closed it.

Anyway, the snow made me come to something of a Christmas feeling. And this is the result. I played with my sweet winter hippo from hÄnglar and Wings and I paired it up with designer papers from Echo Park. It's not the typical Christmas colours but I like the colour combo in this paper pad. It's great to be able to make Christmas / winter cards in other colours than red, green and gold.

Hope you find a little inspiration form this winter / Christmas card and start your collection that have to be done before December comes around again.

Just 4 fun 9/24

Morning and hello!
Hi! Here is a birthday card I have made for a friend of mine, turning 50. It was a bit fun, as I made this card did I don't know what we should give him as a gift but when that day and he got his gift did we give him a voucher where he will drive a fast car on a racing track. He loves sports cars and have once himself.

I chose between this image and a golf image from Lili of the Valley. Both had been a good match, but this got perfect together with the gift we gave him. I am not really sure which brand my designer papers are from, but it's a dark paper pad with lots of metal looking papers, maps and things like that. It's perfect to make male cards with.

Hope you have gotten some inspiration to make a few male cards. Lili of the Valley have some lovely images with a bit of vintage look to them.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Just 4 fun 8/24

Morning and hello!
Hi! Happy Friday to you all, hope you have had a good week and are ready for the coming weekend.

I have spent a little time creating again. I have used one of the lovely images from hÄnglar and Wings. I don't remember the name of it and couldn't find the stamp set in their shop.

I have coloured with my Promarkers and fussy cut the image and place it on a die cut circle that I have decorated with another die cut in black and under that is a piece of patterned paper. The designer paper is from an Echo Park paper pad. I have also used a die cut border from Lawn Fawn for the middle border. The black Nuvo Drop has spread a little too much but it is what it is. Anyway, I had fun making the card and hope it spread some joy around the blogging world.

Take care!

Monochrome over at PFM

 Morning and hello!
Time again for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week do we have a real challenge for you. Our theme is set "Monochrome". That is one colour + white and black in small dozes if the black isn't the main colour of course. We have a great prize up for grabs this week, so it is well worth giving the theme a try!

Our sponsor this week is Dies to Die for and they offer one lucky winner a gift voucher worth £15! It's an amazing prize for one lucky winner!
Thank you!

As I, once again have some trouble with my hands and fingers which gives me trouble colouring did I get really happy when I came to thing of my little stash of coloured poppies. I have them in a few different shades but I was in the mood for blue shades this time.

I dug out my flowers from my stash and my die cutting up a whole panel with a nice grid of geometric shapes. I had planned to use it for left over small pieces of papers from other projects so I don't have to waste so much lovely papers. However, this time did I use card stock as a back drop for my flowers. I am pretty pleased with the result and got to use a butterfly that I had coloured as well. The flowers is a little too big for my liking, but it's totally ok. Oh, the flowers are by the way from Alternew.

Anyway, I hope that you have had a good Easter and that you now feel up to playing along with us over at PFM.

Have a good week and do something that makes you happy!

Love  hugs
Marie
