Anything goes or for a male over at Creatalicious Challenges

Morning and hello!
Well, it's afternoon but I start as I always do. :) It's time for a new challenge over at Creatalicous Challenges. As always you have the chance to play along with our Anything goes challenge and this time with the option For a male. Our generous sponsor for this challenge is

is offering 2 images of winner's choice

Welcome to the brilliantly bizarre brain of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  Here you will find monsters, aliens, odd balls and Dundertons as well as many many more wonderful digital stamps for the crafter with a sense of humour.

My card is made up with the fabby image called Ambrose Dunderton. Just like all the images from Dr Digis house of stamps this is a joy to colour. I love these fun and charming images and the card made with these images is always a hit. I have used my promarkers to colour with and I have actually used a paper pad with a Christmas theme. I have some left overs from it and I might even get a card or two more out of with with non Christmas theme and a card or two with Christmas on it as well.

As I have an kind of huge stash of dots of all kinds; enamel , card candy etc I try to use some of them up from time to time, even if it I love to have all of them left. I never seem to have the right colours left, that's why I want to keep them all. :) I have also used some really thin drawing paper, kind of like vellum, but a bit thiner and some jute ribbon from my stash to keep the card going. Nice and simple, just as I like it at the moment.

Anyway, I hope you take some time and come and join our fun for this two week long challenge. It's always anything goes and then an option if you wish for more of a challenge.

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Love n hugs

Marie

Make it square over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
A new week filled with fun challenges. Mine is starting off with this one; Make it square over at the Paper Shelter. It should be nice and easy to play along with. Hope you think so too!

Well then, I bought myself a new paper pad the other day as I needed some more card stock, a few hundred or so. Yes, I know but I always feel that I very little of them. And I did actully only had 5 black ones left. Now a nice stash again, and a new paper pad. From Maja Design, called Holiday at the Alps or something like that. I have already managed to get it into the stash, and not much energy to dig it out again.

It's not only the paper pad which is new. The image is one of the newer ones from the Paper Shelter. It's called a Cheerful Snowman and it's a real cutie. I love snowmens. They look adorable with their round shapes and fun faces. And today was it enough colouring for me as well. It became a great match with the paper pad. I added a few enamle dots as well as a piece of web from my stash. The sentiment is from Hänglar & Wings. Fabby sentiment that fits perfect with the snowman image.

As always, we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Nice and easy to play along, right? You can enter our challenges up to three times, but at least one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on it.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Clean and simple over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello!
Another week has passed and it's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. The challenge where you have to use your promarkers to have a chance to win the always fabby prize from our sponsors.

This week are we sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps and the winner have a chance of winning a gift voucher worth $6 to spend in the store. How nice isn't that?

For my card have I used three stamps which is probaby some kind of record for me and CAS cards. For the little Santas have I used very, veeeery old stamp from Imaginisce called Santa Gnome. The lines are stamped with a grey ink pad from Memento and the stamp is from a stampset called Love Always from Concord and 9th. And last but now least is there a sentiment stamp from Gummiapan saying in Swedish "En riktigt god jul" (A merry Christmas).

I have for once made the card in A6 format which I rarely use. But I had some cleaning done the other week and realized "OK, I have about two tons of envelopes and where is my cardbases? Well, I found some A6 ones... I have to start writing more letters again to get rid of all these envelopes. I don't think I will be able to throw them all out. Anyway, in this little clean up seance of mine did I found some really, reeeeely old cardstock from when I started my cardmaking journey as well, so why now use the ones that doesn't make me sick? And the card is the result. Yay! Some really old stuff used with newer one and I got another Christmas card done.

Our theme this week is set to "Clean and Simple" and of cours you have to use your promarkers to have chance of winning the gift voucher. A nice and simple challenge we hope as we want to see many, many entries for this one.

Up, up and away! over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
Time for a new dt-project, this time for the Paper Shelter. I have been digging deep in the ever growing library of TPS images and this one is actually one of the first ones that came up in the store, 8, 9 years ago or so. But first our theme this week is set to "Up, up and away!". That means that we want to see something that can fly on your creation. What it is, is totally up to you. I actually set this challenge with dear old Santa in mind. Yep! That is how my mind goes. But it's up to you to find something that you think is fitting for the challenge.

I have used one of the smashingly fun images from the set called "Funny Giraffes". I went with the flying one of course as we have flying as our theme this week. It's such joy to colour this cartoonish image. I adore this one and it's not the first time I use it, and probably no the last one.

I have paired the image up with some cloud dies from Gummiapan and some left over papers from the paper pad of Pink Paislee called Wild Child. It's one of my favourite ones, but some papers are hard to use. However, this is perfect for this image. I have used some glossy accent on the glass parts of the image. There is also a left over die from another project. I have also used a few enamel dots to pop some energy into the card.

Just for fun

Morning and hello!
Time for a new card from me just because it's fun to craft and create. I have done some more distress ink colouring and a bit of relaxing time for me.

I have used an old image from Bildmålarna. I don't remember what it's called and it sure looks a bit summer like with hanging the laundry outside. But it could be a good reminder of the warm summer day that has bin this year and the new ones coming our way again in just a few months.

I don't remember which paper pad I have used for this card. It might be a polish one... It's nice colours and I love the fantasic flowers on the panels. The colours are a bit muted and I love that, at least from time to time.

There is some rows of bakers twine in pink and some cotton lace tied into a bow where I have added a butterfly charm. The fabby cat die cut is from Magnolia, Sweden. One of my favourite dies even if I don't used it that often. Not all images fits with it. Except the border die I have used is there no more decorations on this card. Still it looks kind of busy, in a nice way according to me. :)

Anyway, hope you like my creation and that you take some time to do something that you enjoy!

Love n hugs
