Christmas Cheers 2-23

Moring and hello!
I am back with a second Christmas card for March. As I told before am I a bit behind when it comes to posting my X.-mas cards so I thought that I would catch up a bit if I can.

This image have I used more than once before and this time have I made it in blue and yellow. My designer papers are from Crafter Companion and have a lot of silver details that are amazing IRL. I have also used a some die cut stars match it all up.

I have also used a sentiment die cut from Gummiapan. I have also added some details with Nuvo drops. A silver thread have I used to hang the bulb from. Some silver gemstones in the corners finish it all up.

I hope you find some inspiration from this creation and start up your collection of Christmas cards for this year.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Just 4 Fun 4b-23

 Morning and hello!
I am on the go! Here comes my 4,5 just for fun card this year! Well, I had messed up the names on my photos so this goes under the name 4B. Anyway, back to the card.

I have used a fabby image from hÄnglar and Wings. The set is called Håll mitt hjärta. The set contains of two people, a heart row and some sentiments. It's a cute set. I have coloured with my markers from Winsor and Newton.

I have paired up the image with some digital papers from Coca Vanilla. It's a total mix from different collections. I don't have the files left. I have used a bunch of layers and only a few Nuvo drops in a golden glitter drops colour.

Time to go and write a letter or two. I am a bit behind with my letters so better get busy.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Spring over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
We are back over at Passion for Markers with a new fun challenge and our theme this week is set to "SPRING". Nice and easy, I just hope that the weather would take on that theme as well. It's -4 degrees outside today. I want the temperatures to raise to 10-15 degrees or so, that would be good at this time of the year.

Our sponsor this week is Alex Syberia Designs offers one lucky winner a £10 voucher (digi products only) from their store. Some fantastic designs to choose from.
Have fun lucky winner!

For my card have I used the lovely Tulip close up from our sponsor. I have coloured with my trusty promarkers this time. And I have paired up my image with papers from three different paper pads from Lawn Fawn that I have in my stash for cases like this when I don't want too much pattern but still want to have something. I managed to find some lovely soft papers for my easter yellow tulips. Perfect match!

I dug out some paper flowers from my stash and that is added together with some sequins, two kind of ribbons, some die cut leaves as my main decorations. I have also used some pearls, a very sparkly glitter pen and some die cut clouds to finish the whole thing off. Ooh! The sentiment is also a stack of die cuts made with a die from Gummiapan. Perfect for all birthday cards!

This is all from me for today. I wish you a good week with lots of fun and do take some time to do something for yourself as well.

Just 4 fun 4-23

 Morning and hello!
It's time for me to show another card that I made for Äldrekontakt here in Sweden. They are making older people get some social life if they are very lonely and send them cards when they have their birthday, invite them over for a cup of coffee etc.

This card might be a bit childish but I know there is a bunch of old pilots in the organisation so it might be fun to send the card to one of those old soliders. I have made the back ground with some distress ink and the stamps and die cuts are from Lawn Fawn. I had tons of fun making this card. I love the happy colours!

Hope I have brought you some inspiration to dig out some of your stamps from you stash and make a fun card for someone special!

Just for fun 3-23

Morning and hello!
Hi I am back again! I have a new card to show you and at the same time can I tell you that we have a new challenge up over at PFM. This week is it Team 2 that inspire you all. The theme is set to "Birthday cards"! A nice and simple challenge right?

Well, I am not on team 2 but I do have a birthday card to show you all. The image is from hÄnglar and Wings and the set is called Korta meddelare. This is the boy version. The set contains a boy and a girl and three sentiments which I have not used on this card. It's a very charming set and I really love these stamps. Really great to colour and make into cards. Gives me pure joy!

I don't remember what paper pad I have used for this card but I believe that it is from Simple Stories. I love their paper pads! They are great quality and have very rich colours. So many lovely paper pads and collections!

I have not added any decorations for this card but I have used lots of layers for this card and they make up all the embellishments that I needed for this one. I have however used some letter stickers for the boy's sign. It says congratulations in Swedish.

I hope that you pop on over to Passion for Markers and join Team 2 with their fabby challenge. I also hope that you like what you see here and find some inspiration in your own creative process!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheers 1 - 2023

Morning and hello!
Here comes my first Christmas card for 2023. I am a bit behind when it comes to posting my cards for this yearly challenge of mine. I have a bunch of cards made that is waiting to be shown but we start with this one.

This is a Magnolia stamp and I think it is from last year's collection. I had fun colouring this one and I am making this card in pink and teal. A fun colour combo for Christmas. I have also used a Magnolia designer paper (the one with the music notes). The white panel which looks plain white is also from Crafters companion like the teal/pink papers and it is embossed with a lovely snow flake pattern. However I failed to catch that in my photo.

I have also used some glitter die cut stars together with some pearl stars that matches the rest of the colours in the card. I have had those stars in my stash for a long time. It's nice to use them up. There is a few of them left.  I also added a snow flake in glitter card stock as it was a "dead" area of white around the image. The sentiment is also from Magnolia, it's a part of the stamp set.

Well then! I am glad that I managed to post a second post here on my blog this week. But now is it time for me to rest. I'm low in energy and very tired.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Colours of spring over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at Passion for markers and our theme is set to "Colours of spring". That would be pastel colours, at least in my mind. :)

Our sponsor this week is Dies to die for which will award one lucky winner a gift voucher worth £15. A great prize right?

My card for this challenge features a Tilda image from Magnolia Sweden. This is an old time favourite of mine from this brand. I have coloured her with my promarkers and paired the image with designer papers from Echo Park.

I have used some gemstones in purple as decorations on the image, some paper flowers and die cut leaves together with a charm and twine as extra details. A dotty ribbon and some hot pink pearls finish this spring creation.  I had fun putting it together and now do I hope that you will come and join us over at Passion for Markers.

Take good care and spend time doing something you love!

Just for fun 2-23

 Hi and hello!
The start of this year have not been a fast one when it comes to blogging. But I have been crafting or put together cards during this time. I have some that are waiting for me to show them, one by one I guess. It will continue to be every now and then for a while now as my pain is really going up and down from one hour to another at this point. I try not to do too much when I feel good, but it's really hard.

This time am I showing a card made with a wee stamp if I remember correctly. It's a super cute image that I have had for a really long time. And it was quite a long time since I coloured her up as well. I am glad that I can put together cards with my wonky fingers at least. Colouring well, not that much and not very often at this point. I enjoy a short session here and there.

Anyway, the designer papers are from Honey Bee Stamps and I totally adore this brand but they are so hard to get my hands on here in Sweden. Mega quality and lovely to work with. Their stamps and dies are also top notch as they say around here.

I have dug around my stash and found some lovely flowers and used some Nuvo drops in a clear coloured version. The paper flowers kind of ate the fluid in the drops and smeared a bit. But it looks better IRL. The blue dots is another version of the drops.

Anyway, I am looking forward to spring at this point but today does it seem to be very far way as it was -14 degrees outside when I woke up and it have also snowed a bit today. Brr! Even the oldest cat froze today, he was shaking when he came and layed down under the blanket with me.

Hope you'll have a great weekend!

Love n hugs
Marie
