Morning fellow bloggers!

Good Morning! We have a new challenge for you over at The PaperShelter today, and this one is a very simple one. Our theme is
Anything goes!
So what ever you come up with, we love to see it as it's for everyone to join. Today have I made a card with one of the new cat images that I love. It's coloured with coold colours in blue, grey and a little dash of pink. I have used dp from Wild Rose Studio this time, and as always the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and so is the lace. The charm is from Pagoni, the best service when it comes to pearls and charms. Just great!

As always you can win one image of your choice if you don't use a PaperShelter image, but if you do the "right thing" and use one you can win a 15$ voucher to spend in the TPS store, how great is that?

Take care and love n hugs

Challenges for this card

For Fun is doing Christmas

Good morning! Marie here again. It's time for a new challenge over at For Fun Challenges. This week we are doing Christmas again. I still have not found the Christmas spirit, may be not so strange as we have about 25 degrees outside and the sun is shining. :) So our theme is, if I'm unclear

Christmas

This week we are sponsored by the lovely Michell Perkett. Fun and funky images that is really great to colour in. My card for today is coming in pink and red. Yes I know, but it was not too bad I hope. :) I have combined the lovely bewinged friend with some dp from Bearly Mine (Christmas Sparkle). The post card stamp is from Lili Of the Valley and so is the other stamp in the corner. Flowers and metal from Wild Orchid Crafts. Stamps used around the image is from MME and C.I. Flower soft and dimond dust is also used as I feel it belongs to christmas.

So lets hope you join us this week. It's never wrong to start early with your Christmas cards. Can never have too many already done when December comes around the corner. You find all the info you need over at the For Fun Challenge blog, and also what our prize is this week.

I catch you all later today when it's time for a new challenge over at TPS as well.

Challenges for this card

Afternoon to you all!

Hot like crazy here today and I have got absolutly nothing done here today. Not a bad thing, I got a surprise visit from my sister in law, mum and two sweet kids. It's wonderful not doing anything just relax.

Lucky for me the weather wasn't that good the other day and then I got a card done. And as I droped by the challenge blog over at TOMIC I saw that my card fitted their challenge this week. Their theme is Shimmer and pearls this time. I got some glitter going on the flowers and then there is some shimmer sprayed on as well but the photo shows absolutly nothing of that. But it's there, and so is the pearls...

This time I have coloured with distress inks for a change, kind of relaxing. Flowers are from WOC, Prima and Kaiser Kraft for a change, pearls from Bunny Zoe. The white corners are also from WOC, but silver in original, covered with some hobby paint from Panduro. DP are from Bearly Mine, Summer's roses.

So with this I leave you today, short and sweet.

Hello summer!

Mid summer Eve coming up tomorrow and I have been fixing and baking in the kitchen the whole morning. I thought I take a break and show off one of my cards that I have made lately.

I have used a bunch of designer papers from Bearly Mine, the striped one in green with roses are probably my all time favourite, I just love it and have to stop myself from using it all the time. :)

The stamps I have used is from Sweet Rainbow collection which I totally adore! The very best images in a long time from Magnolia I think. And when I got my club kit the other day I was very happy to see so many Edwins, and especially the tennis player. Awsome!

OK, back to the card, DP from Bearly Mine, that was done... Flowers from Wild Orchid and so is the lace and pearls from Bunny Zoe. The images is colored with pro- and triamarkers. Kind of experimented a bit here with only colouring parts with colour on the back ground stamp and the rest in a warm grey scale. I really like the result as it makes the Tilda image stand out great. :)

I would like to enter this card to the TOMIC challenge blog which has the theme of summer.

Have a wonderful weekend, stay crafty!

It's time again!

Hello again! Second post of today comes here! It's a cold morning here in Kalmar and I want some little more warmth. It would be great not freezing all the time. :) I spent the whole day yesterday crafting, and crafting... I have decided this is the week when the kids teachers should have their little gifts, so I better get going with it.

The final touches is made to all cards but one, the there is the candles, and the pastery. Well not the real deal, I have spent "some" evenings crocheting different cockies and sweet stuff for one of the teachers retiring this summer. We have spent tons of time talking about crocheting and knitting. I can't knit if my life was depending on it, she is the same way with crocheting. Therefor I thought it would be a fun gift. :)

Sorry, I got lost here somewhere I think. I started of talking about the new challenge over at TPC challenges. This week we have a lovely theme that is very appropriate for this time

Fun in the Sun!

Great challenge! And it made me get one of my teacher's cards done as well. I have used the lovely image that is called "Spring break". Such a joy to colour and there is plenty of other lovely images in the same style to get your pens on.

I have paired her up with designer papers from Bearly Mine, at the moment I totally forgot from which sets they are, but they look great doesn't they? Well, the blue one is from the new Summer's roses. All flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft and so is the pin and lace (must get more of that, again). The card is also decorated inside but you don't get to see it, too private for me wanting to share it.

As always, if you use a PaperShelter image you can win a voucher worth $15. If you don't use a TPS image you can still win one digi of your choice. That won't be an easy one, that's for sure!

Until next time, stay crafty!

With love n hugs

Marie
PS: I'll be back a little later with some challenges to enter this card into.
So here comes the challenges
Passion for promarkers - Park Life (How about some reading in the shadow of the trees?)
Anything goes Challenges - Here comes summer! (It really is relaxing being out reading a book... :)

Time to have Fun again!

Morning out there in the blog land! Here comes my first post of the day! Yes, it is already Wendsday again. This time over at For Fun we have a little more of a challenge for you. We want you to use

One Image, One Sentiment, Two Ribbons and Two Colours

Are you up to that? When I saw that challenge I thought, how on earth am I going to do this? Took me a long time to come up with this, well the card it self didn't take very long to make, but to get the curage to start making it. So with this said; If I can do it, so can you! Please do give it a try! It's awsome to get a real challenge every now and then. You might not even find it hard!

For my card I have used this lovely image from TLC, it's called "Going in Style". I love the image, I am sure I will use it again and go vintage with it, even more that is. The hardest part for me in this challenge was to be limited to two colours, but it's done! It's also perfect as I got the sentiment at the same time. I have used papers from Bearly Mine Design. They are from the digi set "Just Plaid", I have also used an embossing "pad" from Tim Holtz for the wood grain and the wheely stuff is also TH. What should we do without that guy? Some stickles in a brown colour, some ribbon and I was done. Well, some pearls found their way over to the card as well.

This week we are sponsored by the wonderful people over at at TLC, be sure to pop on over there and look at their fabby vintage images especially. You find a link over at the For Fun blog. I'm kind of a hurry, have to get on the bus.

Catch you later with another post of mine, and maybe a few challenges for this card as well. Off to the bus!

Here comes summer!

Good morning to you all! Two weeks has passed again and it's time for a new challenge over at the Bearly Mine Challenges. I'm hosting this challenge and has chosen the theme

Summer time!

With Mid summer celebrations coming up this week here in Sweden, I thougt it migth be a nice and easy challenge. Well, it would have been if my mojo had not gone for a vacation and nothing gets really done, and when do get something done, it looks nothing that I had in mind.

So with this in mind and a terrible headace that starts to kill me I ended up with this. An older Edwin from Magnolia and a back ground stamp from the same collection. Papers are of course from Bearly Mine, after all, this is a Bearly Mine Challenge. :) This time I have used papers from the digi set "Spring Surprise" and "Spring Mix"(the multi coloured frame that is around the image).

The dear old Ed is coloured with Promarkers. And so is the jelly fishes that is also partly covered with glossy accent to get a jelly feeling to the fishes. A sail boat charm is the only other decoration together with some half pearls. As the card is for a guy I didn't want to go over board with the decos. I was clever enough to combined this challenge with a card that needed to be done for my kids teachers. And they have been many this year, 8 in the original staff. I really have my time worked out this week. I have three more cards to make and then some candles. I better get started.

I can't wait to see what you all make with my challenge over at the Bearly Mine. And as usual we have some fabby prizes up for grabs. Just check this out!

Our wonderful sponsors this time!

Bearly Mine Designs - 2 Digi sets of winner's Choice
Crafty Emma's store - A sweet princess stamp
Stamp fairy - 2 cute digis of winners Choice
With all this said and done, it's time to get crafty again!
Until next time, love n hugs

Another week at the Papershelter

Morning to you all! Mid week again and it's time for the weekly challenge over at TPS Challenges. This week is a nice and easy one, again. :)

Punches and dies!

How fun is that? Great fun if you ask me. On this card I have combined to of the wonderful digi stamps from the PaperShelter; Little Sylfie and the Mushroom castle. I thought they would go great together. I have been a tiny bit of cheeter this week however as I used the pre coloured castle together with my own hand coloured Sylfie. A tiny bit of lack of time showed it's face but I'm happy with the result. The frame around the castle is raised on foam pads, so IRL it looks a bit more dimensional. (Does that really spell like that?) Oh, well I'm a bit "mushy" in my head at the moment after having spend lots of ours yesterday talking about numbers.

Back to the card before I totally lose control over this thing... Frame and castle circle is made with the trusty spellbinders of different sizes. Then there is a whole bunch of punched leafs of different sizes. Also one of the new wonderful Magnolia dies is used for a little swirl peaking out at some places under the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Pearls from BunnyZoe and DP from Donna's Bearly Mine Designs. This time from the digi sets (Summer's Roses and Damask Delight).

As usually if you use the a PaperShelter image you can win a $15 Voucher to spend in the TPS store, if you don't use a TPS image you can still win one of the lovely images. There is so many to chose from, you probably end up with more than one. :)

I see you over there in a while I hope. Look forward to see all your stunning creations. All links is up in my sidebar, both for Bearly Mine Designs and for the PaperShelter Challenge.

We're having summer Fun over at For Fun this week.

Hi and hello, I'm back again after a what feels like a long silence. Cardmaking does not work when you have sick kids that's for sure. I get too much what they call help from them. At least I have managed to get some done, like this card for the new challenge over at For Fun this week. Our challenge this week is to have some
Summer Fun!

We are sponsored by Nana Vic this week and be sure to pay them a visit to watch the lovely images they offer. I chose to work with this great image and sentiment. I thought it would make a good card for one of my kid's teachers, but he said "no, that I can't give her that", so I have to rethink that one and keep this I guess, at least for a while.

This card ended up very colourful, but hey, summer is filled with colours! So I thought it would be nice to splash out a bit. The sea is covered with a half ton of turquois stickles. I feel in love with the sweet bottle with the wonderful colour months ago and just had to have it not really knowing what to use it for. Tada! I just knew it would come in handy. :) My DP are from Bearly Mine once again and this time I have used "Spring Mix" and "Just plain", great aqua colours all combined with the wonderful colour black. The only decoration is made with a clear pearl maker, to correspond with the water drop feeling...

I do hope to see many of you sharing your idea of summer fun this week, cause this theme is very easy and fun to work with. And besides that you can be lucky enough to win a voucher to spend in Nana's store. Great isn't it?

New challenge over at The PaperShelter

Hello to you all! We have a new challenge up for you over at the PaperShelter now. This week we're in the mood to

Celebrate!

How fun is that? I used this little cutie with her puppies and a bunch of gifts. I'm guessing she's having her birthday. She's colored with copics. The designer papers are from Bearly Mine. The dotty one is from the "love collection", and the striped I'm not really sure. Had it in my scrap box.

All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft and the ribbon as well. The little silver heart is from Pagoni.

Don't forget, if you use a TPS image you can be the lucky winner of $15 voucher, and using any image give you a chance to win one digi of your choice. How great is that? Good luck to you all and I can't wait to see what you create. Hopefully Mr Blogger won't mess so much up this week that it takes forever to comment on all lovely entries.

A new challenge over at Bearly Mine

It has been terrible hot in my neighbour hood the last week and not much crafting has been done, and therefore a very quite blog. But now I am back, it's time for a new challenge over at Bearly Mine and this time you have a really easy challenge to deal with. Our theme is

Anything goes

I'm guessing that there is more people than me that rather be outside in the sun during this time, and don't craft as much. In my case I don't feel too good in the heat as I get more pain and it makes it hard to craft. I try to enjoy the sun anyway, always good with some sun energy. :)

OK, here we go. I have made a card for a friend who lost his dad recently. I have only used Donnas lovely designer papers and "some" flowers. I also wrote up the sentiment on the computer and added it to the flower arrangement. Today does the papers come from the digi sets "Summer's Lace Dream" and "Floral Dreams". As I did't have any vellum, I "made" it in the computer with a semi transparent square over the original flower paper before I printed it. It gave it a little softer tone that I wanted for this card. All flowers and lace is from Wild Orchid Craft. The little butterfly is made with a Kars punch.

This week we have these lovely prizes for you

Whimsy Stamps - $15 gift certificate

Bearly Mine Designs - 2 Digi sets of the Winner's Choice

Fantastic Ribbons - 4 rolls of ribbon

I can't wait to see what you all create for us to see during this two week period. Plenty of time to join us.

With love n hugs

A card made in the middle of the night

Hi and hello again! Had a hard time sleeping again and instead of just laying and turning around I went up and made this very simple card. I used the cutest ever LOTV image with Karate Kid. He is sooo adorable! Coming from a family were martrial arts (is that the word?) is very big, I just had to have him. I miss the time when we used to travel around Europe watching my brothers taking part in the European and World Champinon ships of jiu-jitsu. Those were the days... The image suits the theme over at PFP which is going sporty this week.

Anyway, back to the cheerful card. I love the bright colours of Echo park, this one from the "Splash pad" I believe. As always, I turned the wrong side out when it came to the dp far behind. :) Oh, well things happen in the middle of the night. In the end this will be the perfect card for one of my nephews during the summer. Good to have that done!

Time to get out in the sun as the kids want to jump the little pool that got up yesterday.

Take care and see you around!

A tiny bit lost in the days...

Ok, they say it's Wendsday again and I was about to forgot to post. My gosh! What shall I do about myself. Confused is just my first name! The theme over at For Fun this week is

End of the school year
As I don't have any kids going to school nor any graduations around me this year I kind of went for a summer look. We are at least having some vacation from daycare in the beginning of July. A "a few" weeks left, but it will probably pass by fairly quick. We have a long weekend this one with national day on Monday and there is a few extra red days as well in the end of this week. Will be nice to have everyone at home for a little longer, especially since Mats has been working way too much lately.

So this week we are sponsored by the lovely people over at Di's digi downloads. I have colored with my copics this time, in the darkness in the TV sofa, hope it doesn't show too much, or it might be a good thing. :) My youngest doesn't sleep too well, and sometimes the TV sofa is the only place that he can sleeps. Much due to the brace he has to wear when he sleeps.

Anyway, back to the card, colored with copics...some string to represent some boating life, and a few "exotic" flowers, some pearls and leafs and to top it all of a charm from BunnyZoe. The net thingie is also from her lovely store. The dp are from Dovecraft "Back to basic 1" if I'm not totally lost here.

So with this rumblings I end this post here and wish you all the best. The link to the challenge is up in my sidebar, just click it and join the fun!

The papershelter challenge is back!

Happy Wendsday! It's time to celebrate dads around the world as it seems. The theme of the week is...

Glad for Dad!

Here in Sweden we don't celebrate that until fall comes, so I went for a birthday card instead. Felt a little closer to home. It's male and it says "Congratulations" in Swedish. As there is a bunch of bikers in the family I can use this image over and over and over. Have I ever told that it's one of my top threes ever? Don't ask me why. It is just like that, unexplainable. :)

This time colored with my dear old promarkers/trias and combined with a bunch of papers from MME  may be? I do need to write down what I do or make the posts right away. I have the memorie of a gold fish. Buttons from Papermanina and stash. In the buttons some bakers twine in black and white. Dies used are from Sizzix (the stars) and the gate thing is from Tim Holtz. A dynamo stripe that says the congrats.

The prizes is just as always a digi of your own choise if you enter without a TPS image and a wooping $15 voucher to use in the TPS store.

I was also lucky enough to see that the challenge over at Simon says stamp has the theme of Fathers day / male card so I enter this one into that lovely challenge.
And with this I leave you for now, stay tuned for the For Fun post later on today. The link to the challenge is found in my sidebar.

With love n hugs
Marie
