Mega challenge over at Passion for Markers!

 Morning and hello!
It's time for our yearly mega challenge during december at Passion for markers. Our theme is set to "USE DIE CUTS" which is a nice and easy theme to follow. I start with telling you a little about my card and there after can you read the text from the challenge post with all our fantastic sponsors that are joining us for this monthlong challenge.

For my card today have I used one of the new snow men set from hÄnglar and Wings. The set is called Snöskoj and you find it here. I have coloured with a mix of different branded markers and it's a joy to colour these fantastic snowmen. I have paired the image with the new Maja Design paper pad called Christmas Wonderland. It's a lovely collection of papers, just as always when it comes from Maja design.

As our challenge says we are supposed to use die cuts on our creations this time and I have used a bunch of old spell binder dies, dies from PY Hobby, Lawn Fawn and hÄnglar and Wings. For the first time in years have I made an easel card which was great fun for a change. Some pearls, metallic snow flakes, a clay Santa and a bow have been used to decorate my card. I hope you like what you see and come and join us for this last challenge of the year 2022. You can enter up to three project for this challenge and in two weeks will you see some new inspiration from our second team.

Take care and remember to enjoy all the fun in December.

Love n hugs
Marie

And here comes the info about our sponsors this time!

This week we are launching our very special “Mega Christmas challenge” which runs for a whole month and ends on 3rd January 2023!  I’m sure you’ll agree that both design teams have worked extremely hard once again this year and they deserve a little break to catch up on their last minute gifts and cards.  However to make up for the lack of challenges we have some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

Our theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is “use die cuts”.  We don't mind what you create for this challenge, as long as you use some die cuts and colour with your markers!  You are welcome to make Christmas creations but as the challenge will still be running after the ‘BIG’ day you can of course make any type of creation.  As time is precious for our DT at this time of year we are limiting the number of entries you can make to just 3 for this month long challenge.  Please remember to be eligible for our prizes you must use your markers such as Promarkers, Copics, Spectrum Noir, Karin, Zig Clean Color etc

So now for the exciting bit – the prizes!

Traditional Christmas colours over at PFM

Morning and hello from a snowy Sweden!
-8 degrees and it's snowing again when I write this. We have about 2,5 dm of snow and soon will it all be gone again. And today should the carpenters started to change our roof. What great planning! The worst thing is that we had 17 degrees last weekend. Totally nuts!

Ok, we have a new challenge up for you over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is "Traditional Christmas colours". Perfect timing, right? Around a month before Christmas today and time flies by fast. I think I will have a few more cards to make and send.

Our sponsor this week is Colour of Love which is offering one lucky winner three digis of winners choice. Thank you for that!

I have not used a sponsor image this time, had to use something that I already had coloured as I am in a fight with my fingers/hands. They are not working properly at this time. Wonder how long that will last.? Anyway, I have used an image from LOTV that I find super sweet. I have coloured with my promarkers this time. I like the red colours best from that brand.

I have paired this jolly fellow up with some designer papers from We R M called silver and gold if I remember right. I really need to start writing down what I use in my projects. A golden, red and green ribbon from my stash match up perfect with my papers. Some glitter glue from Nuvo is used as well as a few golden sticker stars and a few pearls in a deep red colour for the tree. The final touch comes from some golden gemstones. A white gel pen is also used for some extra details.

Well, I think this is all from me for now. I hope you take some time to come and play with us. It's a really easy theme and fun to play along with a few challenges, Take care and do something you enjoy!

Make it digital over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
Long time no seen! I am still struggling with my health and that makes it a bit hard to colour, if I took that part away it would be pretty ok. :) But that would make it impossible to create for PFM.

Our sponsor this week is Leann's world 101 and they are offering one lucky winner two images of winners choice.

This week's challenge is set to "Make it digital" and that was something that was easy for me when I was on the TPS team, but now am I almost always using images from hÄnglar and Wings which is a stamp company with almost only stamps. So I had to look around to find this card that I could use for this challenge. I believe it is a Tiddly Ink image but not totally sure.

I have coloured this image with my promarkers and paired the lovely couple up with some designer papers from Pink Fresh Studio's Oh, what fun! I have been using up some of my huge stash of enamel dots and shapes. I have also used some die cut snowflakes, but I don't remember what brand these are from. I have also used some nuvo drops for the eye and buttons on the sweet snowman.

Take care everyone and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheer 10-22

Morning and hello!
It is already time for a month to come to an end. This time is it october that will close it's door. I have made a Christmas card that I have used some old stash together with a fairly new image from LOTV. It is always nice to use up old stash and this time it's some of the paper pad Nordic Christmas or something like that from Dovecraft I believe.

I don't remember the name of the image either which is typical of me. All the strange dots in the photo is from my glitter pen that has a really glittery effect when I use the flash to take a picture. I have also used some ribbon on my card and then put a strip of paper that is left over from the same paper pad. Makes it look like it is a very fancy ribbon don't you think? To finish of the card have I used some Nuvo Drops with some pearl finish and it looks stunning on the card.

Thanks for watching!

Embellish it! over at Passion for markers

 Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week am I the host of the challenge. I have chosen the theme of "Embellish it!" It would be nice to see you decorate your creations from time to time. And as you understand this week do we focus on that. It don't have to be much but a little here and there.

Our sponsor this week is Star Jam Lines which is offering one lucky winner a prize of  2 digi images of their choice (the Etsy store is currently closed but Olya will liaise with the winner to sort out choosing their images).

I have used a sponsor image called Gnome Christmas Decoration. I have not used the main image as my hands refuse to work with me at this point. Therefore I used the coordination image that just has a few Christmas decorations on it. Easier for me to colour.

I have used a few different embellishments for this card: some die cuts (a perfect embellishment), some gemstones, pearls, a bow and glitter card to that as well. Lots going on maybe a little too much but some days are more others less. :)

I have coloured with copic markers this time, to lazy to go downstairs to get my promarkers. :) I have also used an old paper pack from Dove craft that I have had in my stash forever, Back to Basic Christmas I believe.

Anyway, I hope that you play along with us over at PFM this week and I look forward to visit your blogs.

Love n hugs

Anything goes over Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
I am back after a little break due to pain. Still not fit but I can at least write my post this week. Our challenge this week over at PFM is "Anything goes".

Our sponsor this week is UNIKO stams  which is offering one lucky winner a stamp set of their choice.

For my card have I used an old Whimsy stamp coloured with promarkers and the papers are from Crafters Companion just as the white embossed panel and DCWV if I'm not totally off. One pad is new and the other is superold.  I have used a bunch of layers but I printed my image a bit too large so it cover a lot of my card. I have exchanged the printed snowballs with "real" ones. They are covered in glitter in silver and gold, some with white glitter. Some stickers in silver makes the snow fall over the little friends.

Well, this is all from me for today. Sweet and short as I keep having trouble with my joints.

Love n hugs,
Marie

Christmas Cheer 9-22

Morning and hello!
Another end of a month have been reached. We are on the final day of September. And now is it really time to start making all those Christmas cards. I have used another hÄnglar and Wings stamp set for this card. I use my hÄnglar a lot and if you wonder what hÄnglar means is it at word play. The capital "Ä" is the start of the Swedish word Änglar which means angels and that is what these images is, angels. I am a bit surprized by myself that I have been in love with these images for such a long time now. I use to get bored after a year or so but now with these ones.

The stamp set is called Pyntande Tomtar. A sweet and charming set to play with. This image is coloured with my Promarkers. The designer papers is some left overs from a Carta Bella, Echo Park or simple story paper pad. I have just a few pieces left of it and have thrown away the cover of the paper pad.

The lovely border is from a Lawn Fawn die set and I have also use some ribbon, a charm and some pearls to decorate this card. I had loads of fun creating this and I think that my card collection for this coming season has just started. It's nothing that is more fun to create than Christmas cards.

Enjoy your day and do take some time to create something today!

Just 4 the fun of it 27-22

 Morning and hello!
Here comes another card for the fun of it from me. This time is the card made of products from Maja Design. I have used one of the toppers instead of a coloured image. I do it from time to time, but not that often.

The products are from Bohemian Harmony paper pack. I have also used two colours of cardstock Java (brown) and wheat (almost white). Some dots from Nuvo drops is also used, it's vintage brown colour if I remember right. A Martha Stewart punch is also used to give some more details to my creation.

This is all from me for today. Do take some time and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs

Just 4 Fun 26-22

 Morning and hello!
I am back with a little creation here on my blog again. I don't have as many posts this year as I had last year. I have made more cards than I show here but I have very little time on the computer this year to see if I can make my fingers and hands to heal. It has not helped so far but it saves me some pain.

This card is made with my favourite brand of stamps and one of my fave brands of designer papers. This one comes from the pack of Bohemian Harmony. I am now waiting for the Christmas news. I love a good Christmas pack of papers. I have used some vintage photo distress ink from Rangers. I have coloured with my distress reinkers for a change. An old Martha Stewart punch is also used. Some nuvo drops finish my card off.

Well, this is all for today. Have a good day and do something that makes you happy today!

Favourite tool, product or embellishment over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
The autumn is here again and I love it! I love the colours that comes with this time of the year. It's easier to sit inside and create and not feel guilty about it. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will keep having a little less pain in my fingers so that I can colour again for more than really short times.

This week's theme is set to "Your fave tool, product or embellishment" over at Passion for markers and our sponsor this week is Doctor Digi's House of Stamps. Prize will be two digis of winners choice. Thank you so much for the prize!

For my card have I used the image called "Crouching tiger hidden Dunderton". I love that images as I see all of my brothers in it. They were all into jiu jitsu and Tae Kwondo as youths and two of them are still at it even if they have changed to Brasilian jiu jitsu. And now are both nieces and nephews at it as well. So I know that I will have use of this card.

Our challenge have a special theme this week. "Use your favourite tool, product or embellishment". My favourite tool is my collection of paper trimmers but I would never be able to make any card without images or colouring mediums. But my trimmer is my fave tool at this point. I do also use a lot of nuvo drops on my cards, there isn't many cards I have made the last year that I have not used them on.

I have made this card with many layers which I really enjoy. So lots of trimming of papers for this card. The only embellishment I have used are my drops in red on this card.

I hope that you will play along with us over at Passion for Markers, it is some lovely digis up for grabs.

Take good care and take some time to do something for yourself!

Christmas Cheer 8-22

Morning and hello!
A brand-new day has started, and we are already at the end of August. The kids are back in school, and routines starts to come back to life again. As good as it is to be on holiday as good is it to get back to normal again.

I have spent some time with my Christmas stash and have created a card for the coming holidays. Once again did I end up with a stamp from Hänglar and Wings. They are my happy place at this point. It has really lasted for a long time by now.

This cutie is from the set called Pepparkakor 2020. It's a set of two bigger images, two smaller ones and some sentiments. I have paired this sweetie with some designer papers from Poland if I remember correctly. I don't have the pad close to me at this point. I love the paper in the background. Such smashing colours and an especially useful pattern to that.

I have decorated with some doilies, some gemstones, a charm, and flowers from my stash. I am happy about how this card turned out. A big bow finishes my card off.

Okie my friends, time to finish for this time. I see you all soon again. More Christmas creations will soon come your way!

Christmas over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
Another week have passed and it's time for Team 1 to share inspiration for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set to "CHRISTMAS". It's not that long before we December here again and by then at least I need to have a huge pile of cards ready. I have never enough of cards for Christmas. :)

This week are we sponsored by the lovely people over at Lili of the Valley. They offer one lucky winner four digis of winner's choice. Thank you so much for that!

For my card then, for once have I used a sponsor image. I need images that is easy to colour at this point and this little birdy one was perfect even if I printed it a little larger than I normally do. I have coloured with my promarkers and coloured very simple. After putting colours to the birds an their cracker did I dig out a very old paper pad from WRMK called silver and gold. The paper pad was a great match to the coloured image.

I have used some ribbons to decorate the card. I used two in the same colour of green and then added a bow under the image. If I feel like it can I put a sentiment over the image later on when I know for who the card will be sent too. I have also used up some of my dots, not enamel or pearls or gems, just dots in a mat colour of red that I love. It was a great match to the paper and image.

I look forward to come and visit your blog and see what you come up with for this challenge. I would love to get some inspiration for my Christmas cards. Take some time and create something!

Just 4 Fun 25-22, A card just for the fun of it!

Hi and hello!
It has been a very quiet time on my blog this summer and spring. It have been some rough months with a death in the near family, an ill cat and an sick mum of mine. We are slowly going back to some more normal times even if it's mostly because I manage to take one day at the time, sometime hour by hour. My mum have gotten breast cancer and that was and still is a chock as we don't have it in our family before. She is doing ok and are half way trough her first treatment. There is some pain for her at this point, mainly in her joints. I believe that some of it is from the very moist weather we have now which makes me feel like crap as well.

I have been able to finish off this card that I started making way earlier and I thought I share it even if we are passed the strawberry days here in Sweden. The image is however very cute and I love the red berries. I miss them already! 10 months of waiting before they are back with it's sunny taste.

I have dug out some old designer papers from Bildmålarna which I used to love when they was around. I still miss them. I have plenty of their images and maybe I should dive into my stash of them?

Anyway, for this card have I fuzzy cut a bunch of strawberry flowers and leaves to make a frame for my little sweet strawberry person. I might put on a sentiment in the space that I left empty, but that is for the future. I managed to put a butterfly charm on the card as well and of course some fabby drops from Nuvo. The border die used is from Lawn Fawn by the way.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

I have coloured with my promarkers and paired my image up with some designer papers from Lawn Fawn, two of their rainbow collections.

I have kept my design very clean. My only decorations are the nuvo drops and some epoxy stickers from my stash in the shape of little stars. I did also use the fabby sentiment on the card with some masked die cutting for the sentiment..

Die and/or punches over at PFM

 Morning and hello!
Hi there! It's time for a new challenge over at PFM and this week am I hosting the challenge. I have chosen an easy theme of Dies and/or punches. I thought we should have an easy theme while the summer is here. Nothing much to think about.

Our sponsor this week is All Dressed up which is offering one lucky winner 2 digital images. Thank you so much for that!

For my card have I used the image Little Petal and it is from All dressed up. A sweet, lovely image to use on cards. I have coloured with my promarkes. It's a bit shaky in the colouring as I have inflammations in my finger joints.

Anyway, I got a card done and I am glad that I managed to do that. I have used a paper pad from Carta Bella called Summer. Filled of lovely designer papers and they are in happy colours. My die cuts are from Lawn Fawn, some bees, some clouds, a sun. My punch are from Martha Stewart. I have also used a punch for my leafs together with flowers from my stash. Pearls finish my card of together with a bow in a lovely lilac colour.

Anyway, I hope that you play along with us this week as I want tons of entries to choose from when I will pick my top 5 list for you.

I wish you a great day and make sure that you take some time to do something just for you!

Christmas Cheer 7-22

Morning and hello!
We are on the last day of July 2022 and I have a new Christmas card to show you all. I have once again made a card with an image from Bugaboo. I miss them so much! Totally different from all other brands. Please come back!

I have coloured this fun image with my Promarkers. I have used some really bright colours and paired the image with black card stock and a colourful paper pack from Dove Craft. A few snow flakes in plastic is the main decoration together with some
turquoise ribbon in double rows and a tied bow to that. I have also added one of my snow flake charms. To finish this "cool" card have I used some glittery Nuvo drops in the corners of my creation. I have by the way used a Martha Stewart punch for one of my card stock panels as well. A nice touch for some extra details for my card.

Well my friends this is all from me during the month of July 2022. Next time we meet it will be August and soon will the schools start again even if there is some weeks left before that. Routines are wonderful but it's nice to have some free time as well to enjoy the warm summer.

Take care and take some time to be creative!

Love n hugs

Something beginning with a "B" over at PFM

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at PFM today and our fun theme is set to "Something starting with a "B"". A fun and easy theme: bees, butterflies, blooms, bear, berries etc. The list goes on and on. My teamies have done some smashing inspiring creations for you to get your mojo going. Take a look over at Passion for Markers.

Our sponsor this week is Dies to Die for. They offer a gift voucher worth £15 for one lucky winner. That is such great prize to win!

For my card have I once again made a card with my at the moment favourite brand "hÄnglar and Wings". This image is from the stamp set called Humlor. It's a sweet stamp set that includes two bumblebees and some flowers and leafs.

I have coloured with my promarkers and had fun pairing my image up together with designer papers from Honey Bee Stamps. I just love the quality of these papers and the colours. It's perfect to create with. If you get the chance try them. I have used a lot of layers on this card. I have used some gem stones from Honey Bee Stamps as well. My pearls comes from PY Hobby. A black and white ribbon is also used. My "B:s" are: Bumblebee, bow and bling.

With this do I sign off for today. I look forward to see your lovely creations and find inspiration from what you create.

Take care and do something that you love!

Bingo over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
A new month and a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week are we playing "BINGO" with you all. Follow a row on our bingo board and play along with us. Here is our board.

Our sponsor this time is Patties Creations and they are offering one lucky winner three digis of your choice. Thank you for that!

After a hard month have I finally been able to put a card together again. Lucky for me did I still have a few coloured images not used yet to make some creations with.
I have used (once again) an image from hÄnglar and Wings called Sjöbarn. A super sweet stamp collection with three images and one sentiment in English. I have used the girl for my card today, and I have the boy showing up on a coming card. The boat have I used inside the card.

I have coloured with my Promarkers this time and paired the image up with an old paper pad from Maja Design. I think it's called Skärgårdsliv and is from at least 7 years back or something like that. Anyway, a perfect match with this image.

To decorate have I used die cut stars in two layers and some handmade roses and leafs to that. A red ribbon goes on one of the panels as well. I love the stitched border around the riibbon.

Ok, this is all for today. See you soon and I look forward to see what you create with our fun bingo board made by Lisa M.

Love n hugs
