Ok, my card then! I have used an image from Sassy Sherryl that was a huge favourite of mine. It was sad when she closed her digital image store. I adore the images that I have. They are sweet and fun to colour. Totally charming!

I have coloured with my Promarkers this time and used a paper pad from Poland. Can't really remember the name of the pad but it's lots of muted colours. It's so lovely when being in a more vintage mood. The paper quality is a bit thin, but I still can't resist their designer papers. The sentiment is from hÄnglar and Wings.

To decorate the card have I used a thing string of green twine, a snowflake charm in copper and a piece of accetate with glittery dots on it. To finish it off have I used some glittery Nuvo drops. 

And with this card do I take the time to wish you all who uses PFM for an inspirational source a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May 2024 be the best year yet!

Mini Monday 6-23

 Morning and hello!

I am here again with one of my mini cards. This time am I showing up a little snow man building by my dear mice. Santa Claus is hiding and looking at all the fun they have together.

Santa have also brought his doggy for a winter walk. It have been lots of fun to make these cards and I am grateful that I have done all the prepping way earlier, the boring stuff! This card came out super sweet!

Mini Monday 5-23

Morning and hello!

Here comes another tiny card in the size of 7 x 5 cm, They are my cards for my pen pals. I send them with my letters between November and a few days into January.

All the images are from Lawn Fawn as well as the silvery snowflake designer paper. The trees are made with a die that I don't know the brand of. I love their shape.

Just for fun 46-23

Morning and hello! 

Hi! I am back once more this week! I have made a winter card just because I really enjoy making them. I love my snow men and had to try using two of them at the same time. Some loving snow men. As in Frost, the movie: some people are worth melting for. 

The stamp set is from hÄnglar and Wings and is called Små Snögubbar. There is a larger version as well. This image is coloured with a mix of alcohol markers. 

The designer papers are from Prima, it's a fairly new pad, maybe last year or so but I have not used it before. I have been digging a bit in my stash and have found some flowers, leaf and pearls in my stash that went well with my designer papers. I have also used a jute ribbon that went well with the rest of the stuff. For an extra shine have I also used a golden card stock behind the image.

Another crafting love of mine!

Morning and hello! 

Today do I have a little different craft to show off. Since I went on sick leave August 2020 have I spent quite a lot of time with my crochet needle. It keeps me off thinking about how I feel and calms me down. I don't have to think much when crocheting. 

I found a project called Tröstemöss (=Comfort mice) which is a charity project that makes small toys for kids that for some reason ends up at the hospital. They are given to them to give some comfort and give them something else to think about when they are scared. We have finally found an ambassador that take care of the hospital here in Kalmar. That wash and dry and check the little animals before they are handed over to the hospital. I had saved most of the toys I have made during these years and two weeks ago did I finally got to hand over my toys, and they will finally come to good use. I had 477 to hand over to A:A. So pleased with myself and I am happy that those kids are treated better than I was when being at the hospital as a kid.

I have now started a new batch and now will it be easier to hand over to a our ambassador and I will not have to send them by mail.

Hi there! New week, new Monday and a new mini card. So well then, here we go! 

I have been in my collection of mini Christmas Cards once again. The snowflake designer paper is from Lawn Fawn as well as the different parts of the scenery. I love those mice! Totally adorable!

Christmas Cheers-19-23

 Morning and hello!

It's the last day of November 2023 and it's time for yet another Christmas card made for friends and families this year. It's so much fun to make these cards all year long. 

This card is made with a hÄnglar and Wings image that is a bit older. It's called hÄngla med lykta. It's retired but still a lovely image, that I really enjoyed coloring and I have used mainly promarkers for this one. I have paired the lovely hÄngla together with designer papers from Maja Design. The papers are from the paper pad called Christmas Wonderland. 

I made a few flowers that is typical for Christmas here in Sweden. I have them only as fake ones as they are poisonous for cats, and besides that do they not like the heating system here. Too much moving air! A white ribbon and a few die cut trees made with a Magnolia die and then some pearls to that. A good match for this Christmas card!

Mini-Monday on a Wednesday

Morning and hello!

Well, it's not Monday but I post a Mini-Monday card anyway. I have many of them made and I have posted truly little during this month so why not get one more post more up here.  

This is one more MIni-Monday card that I already have sent away to a different part of the world. The photos were taken in a hurry and therefor a bit off in colors and things like that, but I hope you get the feeling of the card. Hopefully will my pen pal get some joy out from it. 

The sparkly sky is a piece of paper from Lawn Fawn from last year or the year before that. Have tons of it left. Always buy too much, right?

Baby it's cold outside over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!

It is Tuesday again and that means one thing, it's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set to "Baby, it's cold outside!" Very fitting for today as the snow is falling. Wonder were this winter will take us as it's only 28th of November. It's early for snow at this part of Sweden.

The Paper Shelter sponsors us this week and they offer one lucky winner three digis of winner's choice.

This time have I used the charming image called Winter Walk. It's cute, isn't it? I have colored with a mix of promarkers and copics. My designer papers do I not know the name of. I have not been very careful with my front page of the paper pad, so I don't remember the brand or name of it. But it's filled with lovely pastel colored designer papers in a dull pink and green. Perfect for winter images. 

I have used a go to design for my card, as it shows the designer papers really well. Some lace is used on one of the panels and to tie a nice bow. A few snowflakes die cuts is also used to decorate the card together with some gemstones in a clear design. I have also used some pearls in the corners of the card as well as a tree shaped charm.

Mini Monday 2-23

 Morning and hello!

Finally, back here again. It has been a time of struggle so I am happy to be back again even if it might just be for a little moment. I keep my little "mini-Monday" series going for a little while. I will mix both stitched and paper crafted cards here. I have spent some time with my needle and thread which have been a clever way to relax and keep my mind positive and forgetful when it comes to my pain. 

This time is it a little card with my sweet dear mice' from Lawn Fawn. I love their penguins and their mice'. They make me happy! I am sorry about the bad photo. It's taken in a rush as I was sending it away before I had taken the photo. It takes some time to get the mail over to Australia and USA and I had a few letters written and wanted to get them into the mail asap. 

Hope my little card made you smile. It's only 7,5 x 5,0 cm, so a tiny card perfect to include with a letter without getting to pay a higher postage.

Anything but birthday over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!

Hi! Time for our new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set to "Anything but birthdays". A nice chance to make those Christmas cards, wedding cards, or maybe thinking of you cards. Take the chance to build up your stash!

The image I have used is Naughty or Nice. You find it in the Dr Digis shop where you can find lots of funky, fun images. They are also great fun to color. This time have I used a paper pad from Echo Park called Lumber Jack Christmas. A great pad with lots of white, red, and black designer papers with added some green and brown as well. Love that paper pad and I am really glad that I could find them to a good price. That made by buy two of them, so I have plenty of them, too bad I have almost used up one of them already!

I have colored with copic and promarker markers this time. Still trying to get used to the different kind of reds in the copic markers. Have not found the perfect match yet when it comes to red. I have decorated with some die cut snowflakes in different versions of silver papers. I also added a few pearls to bring a little more texture to my card. 

Now is it time for me to rest as I have gotten lots of pain again in my right leg and fingers. Might be the weather changing again. It's lots colder today than it have been lately.

Mini Monday 1-23

Morning and hello!

Hi, it's me here again. It was a long time since last and I have not had the energy to post anything here on my blog. My thyroid gland is now working with me, more on a strike how to speak and I am tired all the time. 

Today am I starting my new little series that I hope that I will be able to create for during the months to come. I have decided to call it Mini Monday as I work with small stamps, think Lawn Fawn and leftovers from other projects. A way to use up scraps with other words and a way to find some new inspiration from my creative genes. 

First have I made a whole bunch of winter/Christmas cards in this small size. They will be perfect to send out to all my pen friends around the world. I started coloring and cutting out all the images last year, but I didn't have any energy for finishing those cards. Now am I happy that I have all of them ready to put on my tiny cards. They size of the cards are around 7 x 5 cm.

Embellish it! over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!

Hi! It's that time in the week again, it's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week is it my turn to host the challenge and I have chosen the theme of "Embellish it". I hope that you will enjoy the challenge and will come and play with us. I look forward to visiting your blogs. As it is an embellish it challenge will it not do with a button, or a die cut only, a little more than that is required. :)

For my card, this week have I been using the image called Santa from our sponsor. It's a lovely classic Santa image. It's a good match to some designer papers from Simple Stories, but I didn't use them for this card. I went with Maja Design Christmas paper pad called Christmas Wonderland. 

I have had fun playing with this image, at least after I finally managed to get my printer to print the image. It took me over four hours to get to work. So boring! Anyway, when I finally got the image did, I color with a mix of assorted brands of markers. Then there was time for my decorations. I used a bunch of die cuts, snowflakes, circles of different kind. I used a bunch of pearls both ordinary ones and some on a string. I pulled out some flowers from my little stash that I had close by. A piece of lace is also used together with a charm shaped like a lovely Christmas tree. I hope you like my little creation.

Time for me to hand over the craft stash to you. I look forward to seeing what you will create for this challenge.

Happy Halloween

Morning and hello!

Hi! And happy Halloween! I don't celebrate it, but I love making the cards for this period of time. Don't know why but the images from hÄnglar and Wings can have something to do with it. :) Isn't she a real sweetheart?

The image is called Bus eller godis. The set contains two different main stamps, this which and a little devil together with a few sentiments. It's a charming set that I love. I think I used it last year as well. We'll see if I do something with the other image as well. 

I have used a paper pad from Echo Park called Spooky for this card. A pad filled with lots of spooky designer papers. The image is colored with Promarkers from my huge stash of markers of varied brands, keep going back to my promarkers. Comfty to use in my mind. :)

Christmas Cheers 17-23

Morning and hello!

Time for a bit of a cozy Christmas. We are soon there, only around 2 more months left now. Wasn't it Christmas the other week? This year have passed by so totally crazy fast. I guess it's best to hold on and follow the flow. 

 I have played with an image from hÄnglar and Wings again. This little cutie is found in the set called Tomtenissar. It has two lovely images and, two sentiments and two different berries and Leafs. It's one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets. Supersweet! And fun to color.

I have dug into my stash of Echo Park paper pads. These papers are from the paper pad called Lumber Jack Christmas. Lovely. It might be a mix of papers as well as I can't find one of them in the pack. Oh well, it became a card of it, and I love how it become and I have also used a bit of well paper and some cheese cloth. I have also used some pearls for decorations as well.

Christmas Cheers 16-23

Morning and hello!

I am back again. I couldn't help myself, so I have made a new Christmas card again. Another one with hÄnglar and Wing's image. This one is from the set called Grantomtar. The set is now retired but it is a lovely one. I have used it quite often the last few Christmases. This time have I colored with grey shades. 

Tried to make it work together with my designer papers from Simple Stories. I have used many layers of papers and that have made it possible to get a lot of details without any decorations. . A ribbon in white and gold and some clear Nuvo drops is the only decorations except my paper layers.

Just for fun 44-23

Hi and hello!

I am back in the dark autumn with a bit of a summery card. This was such a joy to put together. I have used a mix of leftover designer papers for this card. I found a bunch of designer papers in my studio that I had cut into and saved for better days and here they are made up to a card for a little boy. I have a few I can send them to. 

 The image is from Magnolia, and I colored this one a long time ago. But I had no clue what to do with it. Now did I find some energy to play with it and these paper pieces. I have no clue what brand they are, but they do make me happy! Primary colors that are perfect for kid's cards. 

The sentiment die cut is from Marianne Design if I remember correctly. I bought the daisy ribbon from Temu I think, maybe Shein. It's such a lovely ribbon, fun to use and a perfect card detail. Nuvo drops in white again, they are perfect decorations. Some die cut clouds have I also used for extra details. Love how this card turned out.

Just for fun 43-23

Morning and hello!

HI! I am back again with a little project that I have made just because I needed to break the thoughts of pain. It can really be a distracting when the body will not answer to the medication. Frustrating is it most of all. 

I have used an image that I have had colored for years and I thought it was about time to use it. I have probably used distress inks to color my image, it might be watercolors as well, but I don't think so. I have used designer papers from Simple Stories, that do I know for sure. The paper pad is called So happy together. A lovely paper pad with a good mix of patterns. I love most of the paper pads that Simple Stories have produced the last couple of years. I have yet again used some Nuvo drops in the corners for some extra texture and dimension.

Just for fun 42-23

Morning and hello!

HI there! I have a little creation that I have made to keep my mind busy from thinking of the pain in my body. It works, at least from time to time. But just a little is better than nothing at all. 

This time have I used a lot of leftovers from my stash. Things that have ended up in a little pile next to my bed. Yep! I am not kidding; I always make both my cards and my scrapbooking in bed. It started when I had heavy trouble to sleep and I kind of like it. Even if it stops me from me from using mixed media in my creations. I solve that by making them in advance to use them later in bed. It needs a bit of preplanning but from time to time is it working fairly well. 

Anyway, back to my card... This is an image from Sassy Sherryl. I don't remember what it's called but it is cute! I know that some of the designer papers are from Carta Bella and the rest is a mix from different brands. I have used some die cut clouds and bees form my stash and I have also used some Nuvo drops in the corners of my card. It was a fun make!
