Christmas Cheers 4-23

 Morning and hello!

Welcome back to my blog. It's already the end of April and time for the second X-mas cheers of the months. 

This time am I showing a card were I have used stamps from to sets from hÄnglar and Wings. Granna Granar which is retired and the sweet image called Tomtenissar. As always part of stamp set. 

I have done a bunch of fussy cutting of the images witch was a fairly easy project. I had a few die cuts pre cut and wanted to make the some kind of scenery. I have used glitter glue around the edges of the snow walls on the ground. The designer paper is from Lawn Fawn. I fond a bunch of silver snow flakes that I added to the sky. Glitter glue is also used on the trees. 

I am sorry about the bad photo. One day will I learn how to deal with the camera and to take better photos!

Just 4 fun 9-23

Morning and hello!

Time for me to show you another card from my crafty cave. This time am I showing the male version of the stamp set called Korta Meddelare from hÄnglar and Wings. 

I have coloured once again with my Winsor and Newton markers. Lots of fun, just as it have been the last 15 years or so. I have paired it up with one of the newer paper pads from Maja Design. It might be Everyday Life paper collection. 

Many layers once again and on top of that have I done some fussy cutting. The decorations are from the paper pad. I have distressed all the edges with my little distress tool and paired it together with a paper doily and some Nuvo drops.  It became a fairly cool card in my mind. I love how it turned out. It was fun to make this card. I am glad that I found the mojo once again.

Frame it over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!

It's Tuesday again and time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This time do we want you to "Frame it!" A fun and a little different challenge that I really enjoyed to take on.

I have used the charming image called Gardening Gus. I have coloured him with my promarkers and paired the image up with some designer papers from Simple Stories and their paper pad Simple Vintage Weathered Garden. I just love the fantastic colours in grey, green, and brownish colours in this pad. I am happy every time I can use it with a nice image.

I have kept the design simple but with many layers and a few details, like the stars that I used to decorate the card with. I also cut and banner piece on the border just for a little extra. The frame is made with a die from Lawn fawn. 

Well, I got a way with my frame using a great die but there is probably many other ways you can frame your card or a part of it. I chose to frame the image, but there is other parts that can get framed as well. 

Anyway, I hope that you play along with us for this fun challenge and we are all looking forward to see what you can come up with for your project.

Creatalicious Challenges - Anything goes option

Another type of craft...

Morning and hello!

This time have something completly different to show you. The last two and a half year have I spent a lot of time with my crochet needles and my huge stash of yarn. It is so calming and makes me feel good. I forget all the bad stuff when I do it and I don't have to think at all about what I am doing. 

I found a few nice charities that I wanted to support and I have chose to support two of them at this point. Well, I have a third one as well that I have been helping out. The first one was to crochet toys for cats to our local cat shelter. So I made crocheted cakes for them to sell. I made a few 100ed of them. 

And now am doing toys for two different charities for kids who ends up at the hospital for some reason. They get a little soft toy that keeps them company when something is scary and you need to feel safe.  That charity is called e"Tröstemöss Sverig". Let me say it like this, I know the feeling they have as I used to be one of them. So far have I made around 400 toys for them, but they have not gotten all of them yet. I do them when I watch TV and feel restless. 

The third charity I have chosen supports heart sick kids. We have two hospitals in Sweden that take care of heart sick kids and do their surgeries and many years ago did "Hjärtekatten" start up. They give a little cat to each kid that needs surgery and to them have I also made a few toys. 

I am pretty sure that I will go on making these for a while longer before I chose something else to support. It's important to have fun when creating and that do I get from changing my charities. Anyway, it's lots of fun and feel good to help out. Why don't you find something that you can do to help out, big or small. Try it!

Morning and hello!

Welcome back to my corner of the blogging world. It's time to show this little card of mine. 

Yes, I know! I have used another hÄnglar and Wings image. This one is from the set called Sjöbarn. 

I have coloured with my Winsor and Newton markers this time as well. I have matched the image with a Maja Design paper pad. It's an old paper pad from maybe 8-10 years ago. I have plenty of it left and I still love it to bits. But it kind of is drowning in all the other paper pads I have collected over the years. Why is it so hard to use up the stuff you buy? After all you buy it to create stuff with them and still it's so hard to cut into the papers...

Anyway, I hope that you find a little inspiration form my creation and feel the urge to create something of your own.

Just 4 fun 7-23

 Moring and hello!

Back again with a fabby card with an image from hÄnglar and Wings. This is once again from the stamp set Humlor that i made in pink a few weeks ago. 

This is actually a part two of a card that I made about a year ago. I used the same paper pad for that as I have for this card. It's a paper pad from Honey Bee Stamps. I am I love with this brand of papers as well as their lovely stamps. 

I had fun making this card and get it all together. This time have I use the proper colours for the bumble bee and have used the same colours for the designer papers.. The colouring is made with Winsor and newton markers. The gemstones are also from Honey Bee Stamps. I have used a dotty black ribbon, tied it into a bow and added it to the card. Some black pearls finish it all up. It was a pleasure to make this card. It made me happy to spend some time with my creative stuff.

Christmas Cheers 3-23

Morning and hello!

Here comes a new Christmas card for you to find inspiration from.. Once again have I used and image from hÄnglar and Wings. The set is called Tomtar med ljusslinga. 

I am sorry about the bad photo. It's a bit harsh. I have used designer papers from my stash. For an extra sparkling Christmas have I used glitter cardstock, golden gemstones and a ribbon with gold in them. It looks stunning when it's not in a bad photo. 

 I have used a sparkling pen on the lights for yet an extra sparkle details. I love X-mas and look forward to make more of these cards to use during Christmas for families and friends.

Just 4 fun 6-23

Morning and hello!

Hi! I am back again with a new creation. Once again have I used a fabby image from hÄnglar and Wings. This one is from the set called Korta Meddelare. A set with two people images and three sentiments. 

I have paired this image up with designer papers from Simple Stories. But I can't for my life remember the name of the pad. I love the fabby colours of the pad, it is amazing this paper pad. Simple Stories have really stepped up a bunch of steps. Every single collection is amazing!

I have added a grey ribbon with a bow to give the card some texture. I have also added a bunch of flowers with leafs and some pearls. The sentiment says congrats in Swedish. I have also used a bunch of gemstone stars that add some details to the card.

Pretty Pastels over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!

It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers and Team 1 is hosting this challenge. Lisa have set our theme to pretty pastels, so dig out all those springy pastel colours. Make it soft and nice.

For my card today have I used an image from hÄnglar and Wings called Flicka med påsklilja. It's a one stamp set and only have this lovely image in it. It's super sweet and perfect both for an Easter greeting or a spring birthday.

I have coloured with my promarkers and paired the image with a paper pad from  Echo Park called my favourite spring. from Echo Park. Filled with lovely colours and patterns. Perfect for this pastel card. I have used a sentiment stamp from hÄnglar and Wings as well. At this point do I not remember from which one. I have a whole collection of sentiment stamps from this brand. It means congratulations in Swedish. I have also used used some white pearls from my stash and a lovely dotty ribbon to that. I also used the ribbon to tone down the green a little bit on my border piece.

Happy Easter part 3!

Morning and hello!

Here we go! My third Easter greeting for this year. I have used the stamp set called Småkullor from Hänglar and Wings. It's a bit smaller stamps compared to the normal sized images from hÄnglar and Wings. They are very cute and I have coloured with my promarkers. 

I have used a "project life" card as my base for this card. I thought it was a nice design on it and I wanted to use it for a card as a change to my normal sized card which is square. I needed to challenge myself a little bit and use my stash. I find the images a bit too small for my normal sized cards. So this was a fun change. 

The card comes from an Echo Park paper pack called  I love spring. I got the collection fairly cheep and it had a sticker pack with it so a few of those was also used for my card. I have also used some scraps from other projects that I have made lately and layered them behind the sweet girls.

Happy Easter! Part 2

Happy Easter to you all!

Hope you're having a good start on your Easter weekend. Here is it time to relax and to do some spring cleaning, but first another Easter card. This one is more pastellish than my first one which was posted yesterday. 

This image comes from the stamp set called Äggjakt (Egg hunt). The set comes with two bunny images, a basked filled with eggs, a single egg as well as a few sentiments. A great set just like they all are when they come from hÄnglar and Wings. After a bunch of years with these amazing stamps have I still not gotten tired of them. They give me a lot of joy and I am stamping again, not just using digital images. :)

I have coloured with my promarkers and tried to keep me in the pastel shades for this one. I have built up this card like I normally do when doing scrap book layouts. So to be made of me is it quite a lot of white space, even if the white space is turquoise here.

Some of my paper flower stash is used to decorate together with some die cut leaves, a sticker butterfly that I have put some foam under to raise the wings. I have used a really light coloured lace on the middle panel and some die cut clouds. I have once again used my sparkly glitter pen from Nuvo.

Glad Påsk! Part 1

Morning and hello!

Happy Easter to you all! Today is the day when the witches travels to Blåkulla on their brooms. If you should believe the legend you find Blåkulla just outside Kalmar on an island named Blå Jungfrun. 

For my card today have I used an image from hÄnglar and Wings. Yes again! I love my hÄnglar images and use them quite often. They make me happy with their charming look

This image is called påskhare. It's a two part image that you can make into an interactive card. I have done that with this card. 

You can add the egg top with a brad on your card and it shows the little sweet hare in in the egg. I had a lot of fun colouring this image. And make it into a card. The designer papers are from Echo Park and they match the image great. 

From another Easter image set have I made some eggs to decorate the card. Lots of happy bright colours are a fun decoration. I have also used up some of my paper flowers. Some twine, a charm and leafs is also added to the card together with some golden pearls. I have added "Happy Easter" in Swedish on the big egg. I have also added some clouds and a sun from ´Lawn Fawn to add some more details to the creation.

Just 4 fun 5-23

Morning and hello!

I am here again to show a card I have made just for the fun of it. To relax a bit and enjoy some time with with markers, paper and decorations. 

This image comes from the set called Humlor. I have made a pink bumble bee of one of the images. It was fun to be a little "wild and crazy". The antennas looks a bit wired here, almost blue. But I have used a white gel pen over the hard black antennas and it made them look a bit strange. 

 I have used a paper pad from Maja Design and kept the card fairly simple. I have used a few metal corners in copper colour, some pearl string as a lovely detail to the panel. As always have I used a whole bunch of layers on my card. Can't help myself when it comes to card making. I have coloured with markers from Winsor and Newton.
