Embellish it! over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!

Hi! It's that time in the week again, it's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week is it my turn to host the challenge and I have chosen the theme of "Embellish it". I hope that you will enjoy the challenge and will come and play with us. I look forward to visiting your blogs. As it is an embellish it challenge will it not do with a button, or a die cut only, a little more than that is required. :)

For my card, this week have I been using the image called Santa from our sponsor. It's a lovely classic Santa image. It's a good match to some designer papers from Simple Stories, but I didn't use them for this card. I went with Maja Design Christmas paper pad called Christmas Wonderland. 

I have had fun playing with this image, at least after I finally managed to get my printer to print the image. It took me over four hours to get to work. So boring! Anyway, when I finally got the image did, I color with a mix of assorted brands of markers. Then there was time for my decorations. I used a bunch of die cuts, snowflakes, circles of different kind. I used a bunch of pearls both ordinary ones and some on a string. I pulled out some flowers from my little stash that I had close by. A piece of lace is also used together with a charm shaped like a lovely Christmas tree. I hope you like my little creation.

Happy Halloween

Morning and hello!

Hi! And happy Halloween! I don't celebrate it, but I love making the cards for this period of time. Don't know why but the images from hÄnglar and Wings can have something to do with it. :) Isn't she a real sweetheart?

The image is called Bus eller godis. The set contains two different main stamps, this which and a little devil together with a few sentiments. It's a charming set that I love. I think I used it last year as well. We'll see if I do something with the other image as well. 

I have used a paper pad from Echo Park called Spooky for this card. A pad filled with lots of spooky designer papers. The image is colored with Promarkers from my huge stash of markers of varied brands, keep going back to my promarkers. Comfty to use in my mind. :)

Christmas Cheers 17-23

Morning and hello!

Time for a bit of a cozy Christmas. We are soon there, only around 2 more months left now. Wasn't it Christmas the other week? This year have passed by so totally crazy fast. I guess it's best to hold on and follow the flow. 

 I have played with an image from hÄnglar and Wings again. This little cutie is found in the set called Tomtenissar. It has two lovely images and, two sentiments and two different berries and Leafs. It's one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets. Supersweet! And fun to color.

I have dug into my stash of Echo Park paper pads. These papers are from the paper pad called Lumber Jack Christmas. Lovely. It might be a mix of papers as well as I can't find one of them in the pack. Oh well, it became a card of it, and I love how it become and I have also used a bit of well paper and some cheese cloth. I have also used some pearls for decorations as well.

Christmas Cheers 16-23

Morning and hello!

I am back again. I couldn't help myself, so I have made a new Christmas card again. Another one with hÄnglar and Wing's image. This one is from the set called Grantomtar. The set is now retired but it is a lovely one. I have used it quite often the last few Christmases. This time have I colored with grey shades. 

Tried to make it work together with my designer papers from Simple Stories. I have used many layers of papers and that have made it possible to get a lot of details without any decorations. . A ribbon in white and gold and some clear Nuvo drops is the only decorations except my paper layers.

Just for fun 44-23

Hi and hello!

I am back in the dark autumn with a bit of a summery card. This was such a joy to put together. I have used a mix of leftover designer papers for this card. I found a bunch of designer papers in my studio that I had cut into and saved for better days and here they are made up to a card for a little boy. I have a few I can send them to. 

 The image is from Magnolia, and I colored this one a long time ago. But I had no clue what to do with it. Now did I find some energy to play with it and these paper pieces. I have no clue what brand they are, but they do make me happy! Primary colors that are perfect for kid's cards. 

The sentiment die cut is from Marianne Design if I remember correctly. I bought the daisy ribbon from Temu I think, maybe Shein. It's such a lovely ribbon, fun to use and a perfect card detail. Nuvo drops in white again, they are perfect decorations. Some die cut clouds have I also used for extra details. Love how this card turned out.

Morning and hello!

HI! I am back again with a little project that I have made just because I needed to break the thoughts of pain. It can really be a distracting when the body will not answer to the medication. Frustrating is it most of all. 

I have used an image that I have had colored for years and I thought it was about time to use it. I have probably used distress inks to color my image, it might be watercolors as well, but I don't think so. I have used designer papers from Simple Stories, that do I know for sure. The paper pad is called So happy together. A lovely paper pad with a good mix of patterns. I love most of the paper pads that Simple Stories have produced the last couple of years. I have yet again used some Nuvo drops in the corners for some extra texture and dimension.

Just for fun 42-23

Morning and hello!

HI there! I have a little creation that I have made to keep my mind busy from thinking of the pain in my body. It works, at least from time to time. But just a little is better than nothing at all. 

This time have I used a lot of leftovers from my stash. Things that have ended up in a little pile next to my bed. Yep! I am not kidding; I always make both my cards and my scrapbooking in bed. It started when I had heavy trouble to sleep and I kind of like it. Even if it stops me from me from using mixed media in my creations. I solve that by making them in advance to use them later in bed. It needs a bit of preplanning but from time to time is it working fairly well. 

Anyway, back to my card... This is an image from Sassy Sherryl. I don't remember what it's called but it is cute! I know that some of the designer papers are from Carta Bella and the rest is a mix from different brands. I have used some die cut clouds and bees form my stash and I have also used some Nuvo drops in the corners of my card. It was a fun make!

Dies and/or punches over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!

Hi there! It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers again. This time do we have a classic theme of "Dies and/or Punches". A favorite one, right?

For my (horrible) card for this week have I used the image called Christmas Candle. It's a lovely image but I have a really bad day with my joints and my coloring is awful. Nothing was working when I created this card, yesterday. Anyway, I got a card done and I used some designer papers from Simple Stories and the paper pad called Jingle all the way. I have used a bunch of die cuts from my stash some from Crealies, Spellbinders and a few others. I made some flowers that I added on top of the images and my coloring needed to be covered and this was a good solution for me. I also used an old Martha Stewart border punch for one of my panels. 

Anyway, time for me to hit the bed again and try to forget about my pain. Hopefully a short period of pain this time. I can always wish, right? oh, the sentiment is from hÄnglar and Wings and says Merry Christmas in Swedish.

Christmas Cheers 15-23

Morning and hello!

Hi! I am back with a new creation. This time is it a Christmas card that will bring you (hopefully) some inspiration to create a card or two of your own. I have once again used a hÄnglar and Wing image from my stash. This image is from the set called Ful jultröja/ ugly Sweater.

I have used some old designer papers from different brands. They are all leftovers and means that I have managed to finish a few paper pads this year. It feels so good to be able to do that. Finish something is just what you need to get some space for new stash. :) I am drowning in paper pads, and I should probably not buy more in a few years or so. Will not happen, but the thought is really good and I should follow my own advice.

I have used a ribbon and some Nuvo drops to decorate my card. It's simple with many layers. I have also used a punch for one of my panels.

Just for fun 41-23

Morning and hello!

Hope you're having an enjoyable day with some time for you, to do something you wish for. Today have I made a card made with a stamp with a Margreth Sherry image. I have actually cross stitched this image as well, together with a sweet cat poem to match the image. I plan to stitch it once more for my cats' veterinary. She deserves it! The way she can fix any broken bone in a cat or a dog, and the patient she has when it comes to helping terrible wounds to heal. She is truly an angel on earth. 

I have used designer papers from Carta Bella, or maybe Echo Park. I love the patterns and colors in this pad. It's an amazing collection with all the great patterns and colors. The sentiment is from Nellie Snellen if I remember correctly. I have used it quite a lot during the years. It's great one. Wish there was a smaller version available as well. Some pearls in the corners is used to decorate the card and a piece of lace that is hard to see on the photo, but it's there.

 Morning and hello!

Hi and hello! I am back again with a new card made just for the fun of creating. Yet another card with a hÄnglar and Wing image. This is from a summer set called Kulglass/ Fun Ice cream. I had hoped to use earlier but hey, ice cream is good any time of the year. 

The designer papers are from Simple Stories, sorry I don't have the name available at the moment. I loved to color this one and you see the large spoon she holds in her hand? Well, there is a matching ice cream stamp in the set, but I have not used it yet. It's huge! I look forward to an ice cream that size some day soon. 

I have used some wooden hearts to decorate the card and some fake flowers to that. The colors of the flowers are stunning and a perfect match to my designer papers. There is also some die cut leaves to the flowers. Some Nuvo drops finish everything off. I love my Nuvo drops. They are so pretty!

 Morning and hello!

Hi there! I have been playing with my fabby cardmaking stash again. All those stamps I have invested in during the years have been set to use again. Well, I have mainly been playing with some new stamps this time. 

This card is made with a stamp from hÄnglar och Wings. This image is a few years old. It's named Fika-Fredrik. It has now been retired but the company have many other lovely images with Fika theme. 

This one is colored with my promarkers and I have paired the image up with a paper pad from Echo Park. Spring something... I have used some pearl stars to decorate the card. There is also a few flowers both one I have made myself and two other paper flowers. A die cut butterfly with some Nuvo drops on it, the leaves are also die cut. The yellow panel is from another brand of designer papers. It's an odd one I have in my stash. I needed some good yellow to the rest of the designer papers.  :)

Spots and or stripes over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!

it's Tuesday again and it's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week do we have a theme set by Lisa M. and she have chosen the theme of "Spots and or strips". It should be a nice and easy theme to play with. Can't wait to see what you will create for this challenge.

For my card this week have I used an image from hÄnglar and Wings. The image is from the stamp set called Fågelskrämmor/ Scarecrows. It's a super sweet image that goes in the same style as the lovely Snowmen / Snögubbar. 

It was so fun to color and create this card with this lovely image. I'm looking forward to use the boy version of the stamp set as well. It's a lovely set with a bunch of pumpkins and sentiment stamps as well. I have colored with promarkers for this card. And I used a paper pad from Kaiser Kraft. I have used some recycled some ribbed paper as a layer under the image. I also made some paper roses and die cut some leaves to that. Butterfly shaped gemstones is used to add some bling and a few pearls/stones in black is also give a little dimension to the theme of spots. A white gel pen is also used for some small details.
